Clean and well lit! Lots of artwork. Smooth, plenty of ramps, and is fun to ride around.

A little bigger than RFK skating lot, needs shade and looks as though someone is living in one of the underparts of the ramps there.

A basic and limited park but plenty of space and flatground. Decent enough ledges and banks. Feels very 90s. Its the only park in central DC anyway! Nearby RFK park is a lot better and a little further out try Melrose and Powhatan Springs.

I went to the basketball court. Which was empty because of the heat. Two guys rolled up, a dad and his son. My cousin and I played a few 2 vs 2. We won every game. It was good bump. I wish they would fix the fourth bball court.

Dont come here during peak times if you cant even ollie... you get in the way... and the bums smoking dope on the ledges also suck but good park to goof off for a bit before you go to a real spot like freedom

Nice place; not crowded. Skate structures are well-maintained. Basketball courts next door. Parking on street. No noticeable skate snobs; my 11 tear-old and his friends were comfortable here.

Does anyone know if the shaw skatepark is open today for Saturday and Sunday

Review №24

Only con is that it gets freaking crowded and it aint big at all, the place is well maintained although there aint many modules either, but the atmosphere really rocks, rather skate here than a big cool skatepark with boring semi-pro/helmeted-noobs atmosphere, and some locals really shred the place off
