Grateful for the virtual classes at Washington Improv Theater during quarantine. Ive been taking the amazing accent classes with Sarah Nichols and am honing my craft. She provides excellent guides for you to ace whatever accent. Highly recommend. Cant wait to take an in person improv class.

This was a wonderful experience. Each of the performers did an excellent job. A great event, great respect for the art form, and great individuals coming together as a team while maintaining their unique voices in a cohesive manner. Truth is comedy!!!!LOL

Went to see an improv performance of several groups and it was a great time! Admission is free, but they do ask for donations at the end to support the theater. The only downside is the seating is very cramped and there is not much of it, so be sure to get there very early!

This is a fantastic experience. I was there with Friends on a Harold Night, which can be hit or miss and this was largely a hit. Great theater location and experience. Great sight lines and good selection of drink options.

A friend of mine brought me along to see a show here & Ive been hooked ever since, including helping out as a volunteer (or operative, as theyre called) with keeping the shows running. Its great fun to watch & just as much fun to help out behind the scenes. There are a couple dark months throughout the year, but in general there are house groups performing consistently, including iMusical: the Improvised Musical. FIST is an improv tournament in spring- a great time to see some less-experienced groups early on; and the cream of the crop toward the end. Improvapalooza runs later in the year & is my favorite- groups just try out any zany idea: they dont *always* work, but usually theyre extremely entertaining or I can at least admire the creativity. Neutrino is in autumn & is an improvised short film -- filmed as you watch it.
