Enjoyable hike to aviation arrow.1.5 miles round trip. 45 mins.Park at the end of Paiute Drive.Fairly steep hike in places. 600 ft elevation gain. Most of elevation gained in first 0.5 mile, then flatter towards top. Hiking poles could be helpful. Pretty cactus-rose and wildflowers in spring. Concrete aviation arrow at top. Good panoramic views from top of Mesa of surrounding area.
Great views. Nice hike
Great little hike around the corner from home. The trail can be a bit steep and rocky in places, but the kids made it up and back without any trouble. This offers one of the better views of the area.
A nice hike or trail run in Washington, Utah. Apparently, there use to be a trailhead parking lot, but it has been fenced off. The iorn fence throws a lot of people off. Just park in front of the fence or in the residential neighborhood. There is a pedestrian entry to the left of the fence. My understanding, after talking with a home owner, there have been problems with people parking at the trailhead after dark and creating a disturbance. After passing through the fence the trail starts to the right, head for the tall monolithic rock. After reaching the steep traverse explore the trails near the top. Theres a Piute spoked wheel rock circle, an aviation arrow, and a small rock shelter. Half the fun is trying to find them. You will not have to leave the trails to do so. There are some cliffs, so watch your step.
Best hike for everyone to experience
