Lovely space preserving arts and culture in DC

Art, dance, and workshops. Great place for the community.Pleanty of free parking but dont keep any valuables in the car.

Interesting and informative show and q&a about the Puerto Rican Bomba tradition.

We came here for the Shrub Festival and all of the food and the cooking demonstration were very nice.

The space isnt really accessible. There are soo many stairs to get up to the venue and then even more to get between floors. Its not well ventilated so the spaces get really hot!

A day of worshops starting with Thai body workto raise funds for the Emergence Community Center!

Lovely artist working studio and mini-gallery. Street parking is available very close by. I parked on the same street as the Emergence Community Arts buliding.

Love this place. Good space for community building through art, discussion, and workshops. Sylvia Robinson put her heart and soul into this place. Keep her work and vision alive. Check out an event here.

Great meeting space for the Day!!

A exstreem sadness for the founder, Ms. Sylvia Robinson who did succumb to Cancer treatment. I pray that the Center continues its commitment to the culturally hungry community. As she provided a place to practice and perfect the art and local community service. Thanks so much Sylvia, GOD-speed you will be missed

Very extra dope spot. Poetry on Thursday nights is the best open mic in the city, period.

I host the open mic at the ECAC. This space is full of good energy and programs to enrich and inform.

This is a great cultural space where a wide array of community members come to commune.

Very nice meeting spot. Community friendly...a lot of great events daily. What a great experience!!

Nothing fancy but a nice place to conduct rehearsals.

Good entertainment, kinda stuffy once it gets crowded.

Very difficult to both find and access the lift in the back, and it was busted the day I came.
