Very cool! Enjoyed it a lot. Nice to see some local artists and vendors showing their stuff. Quite a variety of different types of art (paintings, photos, crafts, etc). A nice way to spend a bit of time on a Sunday.

A pretty fun venue. The acostics are pretty rough, so a loud DJ drowns out any hope of a conversation. We went for the ClickDC event and had a great time. The venue set the scene very well.

This is a really cool underground art deco type of space in the heart of Dupont, a vibrant neighborhood of DC with dining options right above on the street level and a Starbucks. We went specifically for a childrens Halloween party. The space has a calendar of events that it hosts on a regular basis and apparently has a campaign currently going on to Save Dupont Underground. This was my first time there but enjoyed the vibe and hospitality and definitely signed the petition to keep this gem alive. I will look out for future events.

The place is OKAY. They let every wannabe artist and exhibitor into the space, so it is a hit or miss experience. The place is cool-looking enough, they should have invested in a more polished artist and gotten real murals.I would be disappointed at the lack of bathrooms but I doubt it would be properly maintained anyway and thats worse. No cell signal so be prepared unless your provider is a superhero. If you have Xfinity Hotspot, you are good to go.

Took the Under(world) tour. It not what it says it is,My 14 year old and I went on your Under(world) tour at DuPont Underground based on the page description we were expecting a ghost tour while seeing the art of the Underground. You dont see any of the art. When we arrived to check in, the actors are up beat and funny as we were ask who wed come to see (implied ghost). We saw may cause emotional distress and agreed (Now I know why they have everyone look you in the eyes and nod in agreement as that basically a agreement so we cant get money back or sue). But that was kept light and fun. So we were ready for funBut when we entered everything change to dark & depressing the telephone messages that describe your death are way over the top, as my 14 year old got the one about the 17 year old that basically drowned himself, over grade /stuff, which that scenario hit close to my 14 year old world, so my 14 year old was very upset and freaked out which I didnt realize until after tour. If wed of known it was this we would of never brought tickets. As well have to deal with this for weeks to comeAfter, we got back to hotel, my 14 year old went to leave review and it hyperlinked him to an online counseling page, so you know its over the top and can emotionally harm people. Shame on them. They need to make description more accurate and put minimum age to maybe 16,18,

We attended a stand-up show...it was good. In summer, dress for warm, hot weather...no a/c. Its underground, so not horribly hot, but casual and cotton is best.We enjoyed the show, even though we heard more racism than we ever had at any show before. Maybe this is how its done in DC, but we have attended dozens of standup shows in Dallas and not been openly and casually insulted for accidentally being born white. It got awkward. Even one of the black comics commented on how openly racist it is in DC against whites.

Came expecting a longer tunnel with cool art, graffiti, and general abandoned things but it was lame and a waste of money. There is still mural-like graffiti but..When I went yesterday, there was a photography exposition (they didnt say that anywhere while I was researching). It costed $18 for regular admission and $12 discounted. We ended up just buying the tickets because they told us that it was 10x longer than what we were seeing from the ticket stand. Not true. Its a 4 minute walk to the end of the tunnel. The pictures you see online are maybe of certain events that go on down there and the one I see commonly is the one with ball statues. Its really not that cool down there. Wouldnt go unless theres a concert.I only took pics of the graffiti cause thats what I wanted to see more of.

What a wacky place. Entering the subway like underground tunnel is not just a ruse... This venue still has the tracks! From improv to art shows, going to Dupont Underground is a treasure hidden in plane sight. Going here is a nice break from the fast pace DC life, and a rustic endulgence of contrast for a visitor. I recommend going if you get the chance.

You ALWAYS have to pay to enter this unusual space, so pick an event that interests you. If you go in the cold weather, dress accordingly (layers), so you do not freeze to death. I have not visited in the summer, but I assume that it is somewhat cool but a muggy space (no general heat or A/C) so dress accordingly (no suit coats in the summer, guys!).This is a marvelous LARGE space for art works - the art lighting is just OK, but artworks are lit. There is also a good size performance space with lots of seating, sound, video, etc. Always a dim space - lighting-wise - NO NATURAL LIGHT - so I would not recommend for elderly persons with mobility or visual issues. Cannot comment on the musical acoustics. Worth a visit one time!

$16 a ticket to see 4 video projectors playing water and 8 5X5 graffiti names. This would be a cool place to host an event but DO NOT go on a tour here. It takes 20 minutes and is the worst. Go see any of the other art exhibits D.C. had to offer.

Theres a lot of positive things you can say about Dupont Underground. Its in the heart of the city. It has a fascinating history. Its unique. Its innovative. Its celebrating local art. It gives us DC locals something more to do.However, my wife and I were disappointed by the execution of the first exhibit: Raize/Rase. It cost $15 per person for an hour of walking around the exhibit. If youre sans kids, it may only take you 10-15 minutes. Its very small and many of the ball cubes are broken (Expect to break one or two cubes accidentally as you build your own creation). Its unique, but there just isnt much to see and you may quickly become bored of making your own creation.Again, its unique and Im curious to see what other exhibits they bring in, but for the first exhibit, Id save $15 ($16+ including tax) and just look at the photos on Instagram. They make it look cooler than it actually is.

Went on February 17,2017 7pm Batch. It wasnt a really good experience, the tour guide and the usher/escort behind us was in a hurry we didnt get to enjoy the whole trip. They should change the name to Dupont Underground Marathon. It was a bit disappointing, we spent more time checking out trash, than the exhibit/arts and old architectures underground . They should consider adding more time or a better time management in the tour.
