Joseph helped us out so much and he was so attentive and gave us the best customer service by helping us choose the best seats! Well def be back because of his service and the movies were also quite clean which was reassuring.

Havent been here since it was attached to the Mall and it was dirty and in bad shape! Not anymore! Everyone Was friendly! The theater and bathrooms were clean. Seats are nice and comfortable. In Theater 6 row D seat 9 and 10 the seats didnt work. We moved to seats that worked. They were very comfortable. Great Experience!!

Tuesday night is super cheap. Always clean and the big recliners are awesome. My favorite part is being able to pick seats ahead of time so you dont have to show up an hour early to get a good spot.

A great relaxing place to enjoy movies with family and friends.It is recommended that you bring a jacket, coat, or blanket because the air conditioner in the theater makes it feel a bit cold and the recliner seats are very comfortable.

Really enjoyed myself in this theater. Seats were very comfy and you had to select your seat upon ticket purchase. Prices ate comparable, Id say go doing l during the matinee. Free refills on popcorn however the cost of it make sure you get your monies worth. Parking can be close or pretty far. Front lot is well lit, off to the side, not so much. Seemed very well staffed however no organization with waiting customers- perhaps one line leading to the cashiers and the next person goes to the next available cashier would help... especially when you have 30%of the people seeking refills and others undecided as to what they want. Has a very small lounge that serves alcoholic beverages.

I was very surprised by the nice upgrades being that I havent been to this theater in years. I love the recliner seats, full bar and concession stand.. The theater was clean and quite relaxing. Will definitely be back.

Everything was great. Only one person working concessions. A second employee would have sped up the line. But the one employee was doing a fantastic job. I would have given five stars if concessions was better staffed.

A early/mid day showing is the best. Quiet and not crowded. Prices where decent compared to other movie theaters. Plus if your 21 you can enjoy adult beverages.

Whatever happened to common courtesy at a theater? Went to see the Joker. Eerie movie. Highly suggest you see it, but you might wanna try another theater unless you like cell phone talkers and couples relationship fighting in the middle and throughout the movie. Bathrooms were dirty.The best thing was the popcorn. Youre in control of your butter so pour it on.Heres a tip: Tell them you want to do half and half, which means theyll fill the bag half full and then you put your butter and salt. Then theyll fill it the rest of the way and you can top it off with more butter. Yummy!!

Ive been going to this movie theatre since I was young. I enjoyed it then and still enjoy it. It has been plenty of upgrades since then and when Im in the area its one of my first options when planning a movie date.

I really miss this theater! Its really great for wheelchair seating.

I went here before they renovated and have been going a lot more after it was done. This place looks great now and the pricing for movies are not as bad marked up. The inside is clean and so are the bathrooms. They have a small bar area to have a drink before the show.

This is my go to place to take the kids to the theatre. I always go early so there isnt many people, the recliners are amazing, but the food is regular crazy movie theatre prices lol. That doesnt bother me since we just watch the movie then go out to eat. Love MJR!

I give them a 4 star given the concession stand only had I line open and several people working and it was only 12:30 in the afternoon and after standing in this long line our movie had already begun. The theater was not crowded only the concession. Restrooms were clean and theater was also.

I really enjoy coming to MJR for movies. The early matinee show is only $6, which is the best price nearby. I usually go to matinee shows and this theater has become my favorite place to go. They do have a bar that opens in the afternoon and evening, but I havent visited and cant comment on it.The seats are comfortable and have electric controls. You can sit back and relax. Additionally this is one of the cleanest theaters I have been to recently.Concession prices pretty standard to lower cost. Large popcorn and large drink is $10.50 plus tax. They have seasoning salts for the popcorn and serve yourself machines. They are Pepsi band which are not as good as the Coke Freestyle machine. They also dont have very many diet beverage choices.

The place looks amazing. It changed quite a bit from hot it used to be. Still a nice theater to go to.

Starting to look run down. Bathrooms had no tp, and dirty. Popcorn and debris all over the floors. However, the movie picture and sound was very good quality.

Great seats, great location and $5 Tuesdays. Comfortable recliners and good screen size. It is indeed more fun at MJR!

I loved how they catered to our party. The down side would be that their bar was not opened for our party. We had to wait until after our movie started for the bar to be open. So if you wanted a drink you had to miss part of the movie to get a drink.

It nice they updated, but the dollar show was great when you missed a movie and it was out of other theatres. Now its an MJR so now the prices are up, but they dont keep the reclining seats clean sat in a sticky seat. I hate theatres that you have to pick a designated seat.

This is one of my favorite theaters to go to. I love the reclining seats and the isles are huge. You dont have to worry about standing up to let someone by. You also picked your seats to ensure you get the seats you want. The concessions are very updated and almost brand new. This place is amazing. Highly recommend.

This is a good theatre. The seats are comfortable is clean and quiet. I dont think to many people visit this theatre so its pretty lowkey. They also have a bar! Id definitely see a movie here again.

I always get the large popcorn and pop (custom Pepsi) combo. I like the free rewards program. Its usually clean. They have assigned seating. Buy tickets online, kiosk and at counter. They have a bar, but Ive never tried it because Im always the one driving. Its always I first choice when going to see a movie.

Very clean and well kept since MJR bought the building. Employees are nice. Food is always good. Bathrooms clean. Best of all reclining seats.

Updated and clean; a little sound bleed from the other rooms. This was my 2nd visit to this theater, and both experiences were enjoyable. The electric recliners are totes comfy- and we havent found one that doesnt work, like at some other theaters. The digital projection was crisp and clear, and the screen seemed to be free of defects. But oh, man, that Joker...

Spontaneous movie night, other theater we planned on going to the tickets sold out. Very easy & fast using the online booking for purchasing tickets and selecting seats. The theater was very clean, staff were polite and professional, seats were comfortable recliner chairs, and the concession had a wide variety of snacks. Great experience overall

The movie theater and the restroom was very clean. The employees were very courteous. I love the reclining seats that adds to creating a comfortable atmosphere, in which, to enjoy the movie! A job well done MJR Universal Grand 16!!!

Great atmosphere, MJ really has something going. You can get a nice meal and even alchohol beverages to take with you inside the theater. The seats are the kicker. You put have your seats and exactly what seat you want, no need in worrying about someone sitting in your spot. Downside to the seat option is that the web and actual setup dont match so some seats arent where listed correctly. I think also that the row of seats need to be inclined a little, you are flat to the ground but the reclined part is great!

Could be a great theater, needs to concentrate on cleaning the floors in the actual theaters...have been to this location on a few occasions and the floors ALL were sticky from apparent spilled soft drinks and apparently were not properly cleaned/mopped...concessions are ok(not the prices)... surprisingly the restrooms were clean...customer service is good...I love the reclining seats!

This place is nice and clean. You can spend good time over there. Food is good too. Make sure you activate their free card so there are chances to get free popcorn and so on. Dont take your baby (under 2 years) after 6:00 P.M. They wont allow you to watch movies with baby during this time and the age.

The theatre was clean, the movie was entertaining, the other patrons courteous, but that Ladies room was more filthy than a free concert porta potty down on the Riverfront

Fun. Still really good service. Watched annabelle home coming and honestly it was very wholesome for a horror film. The theater was clean and the sound was crisp. I even enjoyed a short conversation with a few cashiers. It was a wonderful day to go to the movies.

Ive been going here since it was the dollar theatre. They did a fantastic job fixing it up to be an MJR!! The theatre was clean and the employees were courteous and kind. The pricing is alright, better than the AMC on John R, so thats a plus. I definitely recommend going here.

Clean place love their fountain drink. Employees are sometimes rude. Only reason I gave them one star less.

I love this MJR the seats are super comfy dont go tired or you will fall asleep.

I luv this theater & the new recliner seats. They have a rewards program & discount shows on Tuesdays. The pretzel bites are my fave snack. Only down side is there are no arcade games no more.

One day I went to see underwater and During the Advertisements the screen was off completely I was like why so I ask to speak to the manager and Nick Said they are pre advertisements also why MJR Did you shut of your Advertising how is someone supposed to know what movie are coming out this year and also they got rid of they little bin that with papers you can pick for free what I wish MJR Would turn back on their Advertisements please because I’m dying to know new movies coming out soon.

Very clean, the theater its self was well kept. It was my first time there, I enjoyed myself. The evening bartender was very professional and nice. She answered all of our questions and even recommended a few drinks which were awesome!!! I will return.

Good movie theater for an early matinee or reserving for an opening day blockbuster. Concessions are reasonable, if not spectacular. Like a lot of theaters, the single set of bathrooms is not a quick trip. The seats are comfortable recliners, but are already showing some wear. Overall good experience though.

Typical movie theater experience. Clean with the nice big reclining chairs. Just Dont get so comfortable that you sleep through your movie. Only had one incident with a misinformed manager. But all other visits were fine. They also have a bar for those who are interested.

Other than the ticket prices being slightly higher than the other locations I have no complaints

Ok guys Mrs. Blogalot is back! Hope your new year is going well! So...lets chat about this newly revamped $1.00 show turned ligit. Hubby received a gift card from work to go here. Went. Tried to pay for tickets at the kiosk. Strip didnt work. No big deal. Ordered the combo. Usually get a refill bucket for my very greedy teens. Got what looks like a small non refillable bag for the same price as another neighboring theater that does offer a larger refillable bucket. Went to the seat. Everybodys seat reclined but mine. Had to sit in another row. This theater really can compete with the big guys...Just need u to step it up and make the theater COMPLETELY comfortable and offer more popcorn!

The staff is polite. A lot of people talk during the movies (multiple movies, not just one). The bathrooms are always disgusting. I have walked in after a staff with a broom and cart has walked out... I am not quite sure what she was doing because there was urine all over multiple toilets and long streams of toilet paper on the floor and hanging out of toilets.I will go here if it has a very convenient movie time... otherwise it is worth the drive elsewhere.

I Personally Prefer MJR Troy and Sterling Heights. Im not a fan of this theater it took away my childhood Memories of Universal Mall and the Dollar Show. The Restrooms smell like a couple of Cats been in the bathroom. Cat urine is strong and the mens Bathroom smells like Cat Urine... I also feel the one lady with the Clipboard is a stalker one time I took my mother to the movies and this lady Stalked us. She would Follow us and even went into the theater room where we went. She couldnt find us and she rudely flashed the light on us and just Stayed there with her clipboardI prefer the Troy MJR on Rochester Rd

This location is very convenient because its near Krogers Target and Burlington. It has 16 theatres, comfy recliners, a bar and free popcorn on Tuesday!

Its been years since I was able to get out and go to a movie. My first time since my amputation in 2018.

We love the recliner seats at this theater. We can always find tickets and recently they have waived online service fees for buying tickets online! So that’s a huge bonus. Cleaner than a lot of other theaters

Hugely improved from the previous theater at this location. Clean (the old one smelled like urine). The seats are big, comfy recliners.At first I didnt like the idea of assigned seats. But now I like the idea of knowing exactly where I will sit before I enter the theater.Prices are reasonable and you get some good deals with an MJR Card.Definitely an improvement. I go to this theater more than any other.

Miss the $1 ticket price but this new place is as nice as they come plus a bar......sweet

Clean modern theater. This movie theater is still under the radar so its not always crowded with movie goers. This is a top notch cinema exactly what you would expect from MJR.

I dont like how they stalked us having a lady with a clip board stand 3 feet behind our seat the entire movie. She never said anything just stood there. The seats are comfortable but I am good on them....I wont be going back there.

I always enjoy my visits to MJR. The seats are comfortable with the recline option. I also always appreciate the value they place on their customers. The tuesday night $5 movies along with free/$1 popcorn is the cherry on top!

Its a great place to see movies from the entrance all the way to your seat they have a good deal for a kid box which comes with a candy bag of gummy bears, popcorn which you can add your own accessories to and they popcorn comes with a free refill and you also get a small Icee which isnt as small as it may seem this was just one deal that they had and the price was six dollars for gummy bears, popcorn with refills, and a small Icee.Also their chairs are recliner so you really get to relax. You should go to MJR Universal Grand 16 you wont be disappointed trust me.

LoVe the comfortable seats! I dont care for the pricing nor do I like how they assign seats on the ticket. When they start that mess..Nope, that has got to change..I dont want to be TOLD where to sit when it should be optional in said place!

Ive gone here a couple of times and have had good experiences so far. You can reserve your seats online or when you get to the ticket stand. Theaters are clean generally and parking is easy to find. I appreciate MJR because its a local business and not a chain.

This place has really improved since MJR took over. Great screens, great sound, big reclining seats, reasonably priced concessions. If its showing here, this is where I go.
