Small Park but not a bad little spot to get together for a ball game.

This is a small but decent park. The play area is a lot of fun for a variety of ages. There is a baseball/softball field. There is also a pool but that is not accessible to the general public, only those affiliated with the Aquanauts organization. There are small grills and a covered area, too. Throughout the year various sports teams use the open field area to practice soccer and football. There is also a bball court, but I dont know if it is marked and in good condition. For me the best part of the park is the playground equipment.

Wonderful place to go for a short walk

My son practices football here. I’ve called the rec dept probably 12 times in the past 3 weeks because bathrooms are locked at all times and when you have a 3 year old you have to take them frequently. I was told I could come pick up a key after someone finally called me back. I passed this info along to my sons coach and was told someone would get this key. Bathrooms are STILL locked. There is clearly no resolution to this simple problem besides me driving out of my way to go get a key and being responsible for the bathrooms when I am not a city employee. When things are poorly managed I do not want to be apart of it. I am considering taking my son off the football team and will try somewhere else next year. I’d also never come to this park just for the kids to play.. once again if you have to use the restroom you would have to drive a good distance to a place with a Public restroom

Softball field, volleyball net, and large field. Theres a playground many for kids around 4 and older. A swimming pool exclusively for a swim team. Theres a pavilion you can rent that allows access to bathrooms. Some grills and picnic tables by the park. Also, there are two Pokemon Go pokestops and a gym. The park is also a nest for uncommon Pokemon. There isnt much shade, though, so bring drinks in the summer.

Park is quiet, clean, and a good size. My 3 kids loved it. Good for small parties or get togethers.

We could use a New & inproved inclosed Pool.& updated Bathrooms/ changing rooms . Not only for the WR Aquanauts swim teams . But also for the High school swim teams that use that pool too.
