I started visiting Lush art a few years ago. I really needed a place I could unwind at once or twice a month. I have anxiety & the idea of being in a group of people and painting freaked me out. From my first lesson Lush provided not only art techniques but a community. This art studio is open, there is plenty of room, the teachers are amazing, and there is a lot of laughter at Lush.Cara is so passionate about art & It definitely shows in all the work & care in her monthly calendar.Even now that I don’t live near Lush, I still visit whenever I can, and follow their art calendar.I highly recommend taking a class at Lush, even if you think you can’t paint. The experience alone is easily worth twice the cost.

Lush Art is a fantastic place to go, artist or not! I never thought I had any kind of real artistic ability, but I now proudly display each and every painting. Always a wide variety of choices and the teachers are awesome. An added bonus is supporting a local business!

I have never not had fun at Lush Art!! It is a great way to just get out of the house, relax for a bit, do something different, and let loose for a few hours! Ive gone with friends and enjoyed myself and Ive also done by myself and enjoyed myself. You definitely dont have to go with someone. Every person who has tried it for the first time, even those who were worried about it going into it, always says something along the lines of, I had more fun than I expected! So if youve been thinking about it, or considering it, just do it! Youll probably enjoy it more than you are expecting, and then want to do it more and more!!

I love coming here. I come with my daughter and with friends. There are always couples here for date night. Tonight we have two men here who even came by themselves to paint. I love this place. It’s making me a better painter. Don’t let the name “lush” deter you. There are plenty of non drinkers like me. It’s fun and instructional. No matter what, our paintings all come individually great and different from each other. I’ve probably been here three or four times and can definitely see myself coming more frequently this year! I love it. It’s very relaxing and fun.

Lush Art is a fantastic local business that offers a variety of painting classes and events where you can purchase beer and wine. The staff are knowledgeable and kind. Its a fantastic way to relax or express creativity. They also do events for pretty much any age group and any skill level.

This studio offers painting classes and events for those who enjoy painting pictures. The instructor provides step-step instructions for a specific painting to a group of about 20-30. The establishment provides the paint, brushes and canvas on an easel. Refreshments, including beer, wine and cider are available.

Love this locally owned establishment! Highly recommend checking it out, even if you don’t think you can paint. The instructors take you step by step through the process while allowing you creative freedom to make each piece your own. Each instructor has their own style of painting as well so there is something for everyone’s taste throughout the month. This location is not a BYOB spot since Houston County does not permit that but they do have license to sell wine and beer! The attention to detail is seen as soon as you walk through the doors, this is a fun and positive environment to keep things low stress. The prices are fair, not more than what you would pay to get your nails done or a nice sit down dinner. I’ve had several date nights with my fiancé, gatherings with friends, and come alone and have never had a bad experience at Lush Art! Lush Club is worth the investment if you want to paint at least once per month as well!

Ive been going to Lush for a few months now and I cant say enough wonderful things about this business. I had never painted before but the classes are taught in a way that make it possible for ANYONE to follow along and create a work of art that they can be proud of. I am learning so much and having so much fun going to these classes. I go at least 2-4 per month because the prices are affordable (even for someone who is currently a stay at home mom) and I just love the Lush Art environment. Its very relaxing, quirky, fun, and filled with positivity. All of the instructors are different, so while I do have a favorite (hi, Cara!) I like that I get to learn different styles and techniques from different people. If one instructor doesnt work for you, take a class with someone else; you will find one who suits your style and needs. I hear people say all the time that they would love to do that but they cant paint. Lush provides a safe space and a fun environment where anyone and everyone not only CAN paint, but will have a good time doing it. Long live Lush Art!

I have done two paintings so far and just signed up for my third. This is a fun, relaxed place to paint something amazing, step by step. I will be returning as often as a painting catches my eye, which has been about once a month so far!

Ms. Nancy was great!!! My girls really enjoyed themselves and so proud of their paintings. They want to come back!!!

Fun and entertaining.

This was my first time here. It was super fun and Cara did a great job of explaining and going at a good pace for everyone to keep up. Its a fun and relaxing environment. The only thing I did not like was a lady sitting across from me being so negative about her painting. She was cussing, getting frustrate and getting mad with the instructor. Well first of all its suppose to be a fun painting class. No one was an expert in there and you cant beat yourself up because yours doesnt look like the instructors who has been doing this for a long time. I would definitely recommend and I would go back.

I’ve taken a few classes here and usually go alone but always have a good time. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Three stars because the painting was complicated and you cant bring your own wine. Not to mention who wants to paint something hard while drinking wine? This is a large venue. Which makes it hard to see and hear the instructions. They sell wine and beer here. I assume that they have a license to do so. Children under 18 will be in the class also.

Did my first Tangled themed “paint and sip” last weekend and it was so much fun! Drinks and teachers were nice, they helped me when I messed my painting up Can’t wait to come back!!

Place and people are perfect. Always uplifting and a great safe place for getting together.

I have done a few paintings at Lush Art with a couple of different artists.... I am artistically challenged, but the teachers are all so patient and help me paint beautiful pictures! It is my new favorite pastime!!! Thanks ladies for being so awesome! ️

Ive attended several classes with multiple teachers and have loved each class and the end results! I have several of my paintings hanging in my home and have found such peace & tranquility in painting with Lush Art.

I have had several visits to lush art, enjoyed all but not last nite, I will say it was more difficult than I expected,but I was also seated with my back to the instructor which was not good for me,I have back and neck issues.But they give you a picture to help you,not so much help to me. I got very frustrated then irratated with the whole thing,not their fault.But I ended up just walking out, so No I wont be going back.Not fun for me anymore.The only thing I can offer to change is seating,older people usually have physical issues and are slower in many other aspects,how bout a class for just seniors?

Everything was well organized and prepared upon arrival for my daughters 12th Birthday. Our instructor, Rian, was very helpful and patient with my young party guests. The atmosphere is comfortable and colorful. I plan to revisit very soon for an adult experience.
