This is a great park. Lots of space to simply walk or enjoy some time outdoors. It also has lots of facilities like a pool, tennis courts, baseball/softball fields, soccer fields and gym sets and an archery range.Personally i go here mostly to just relax and sit under a tree. Its great for that too!
Park is huge equiped with 12 baseball/softball/t-ball feilds, childrens play groundednea, and open feilds for soccer, kite flying, drones and RC planes. There is also some picnic tabels, lots of shady trees, and a walking path that snakes through from end to end. Parking for vehicles included. Enjoy yourself.Park also includes an archery range, tennis courts, and an Olympic swimming pool.
Nice outdoor space with beautiful views of the Waianae Mountains. Features many different recreational facilities such as several baseball and softball fields, many tennis courts, and an Olympic size swimming pool.
A large public outdoor sporting complex with minimal amenities. The playing surfaces are just good enough. Be preoared for mosquitoes and ants. My son was harassed by wasps during a tournament.
Beautiful park. Nicely manicured. Lots of shade and parking. Pretty dingy bathrooms. I stopped by to have lunch and kill time before appointment. For a newer park I was surprised at how run down the bathrooms were.
Big park, lots of space and parking. Good recreational activities such as pool, tennis courts, baseball fields
Beautiful park...lots of open space. Normally, it is teeming with activity. But, COVID-19 is here now; not many are there. Anyway, I did a drive-by for a young man who turned 13 years old, yesterday. Yes, he is an official teen-ager, now! Yikes!! Yes, in the midst of a pandemic, celebrations still rake place. Thank YOU, GOD!! Look up! From the hills cometh my help. My help cometh from The LORD. Yes, HE IS in control!!! Let us not forget it!!
Great for walking your dog, play tennis, or do swimming laps.
My son plays i9 sports on the fields nearest Jack-in-the-box. Decent fields, some bare spots and dips but manageable. Beware the red ants near the trees.
Great spot for exercising, family picnics, soccer games, baseball games, tennis, swimming biking, and so much more! There park is vast and spacious, parking is decent when its crowded. When its empty its a nice park, theres also an abundance of trees for shade cover when the sun is shining. Great park!
Nice, huge park to spend a day at.Great place to carve on a onewheel.
My familys favorite park for a good walk. Plenty of baseball fields, soccer fields, and tennis courts. Plenty of grass for the dog to run around on. Public restrooms are available throughout the park as well. Very well maintained.
Plenty of parking, safe place to walk or jog and clean public restrooms
Best all around park for the kids. From baseball to softball, soccer, football, playgrounds, and exercising, its the best. Not to mention, the bathrooms are clean!
Really big with lots of space to social distance. Places to bike, run, walk and picnic as well as watch swimmers and tennis players. The staff are being extremely careful to encourage safe practices. It is a well maintained park which I am sure is generally buzzing with Ohana and tons of activities. Much more subdued in the days of covid - 19 but still very inviting and usable.
My go-to park. I love that there is pavement and alot of separate fields in between for multiple activities! You can find an empty field to play sport or ride your bike on the pavement while respecting and being mindful to share with walkers. Theres also baseball parks and those are used from time to time so you can watch s game. The park is clean and well kept; groundsmen are doing a great job with the upkeep. Also alot of available parking. Very beautiful and versatile park.
A lot of room to park. Very spacious.
Love the sports complex. All sports for all age groups. Lots of parking.
CDC protocols and mask mandate in place. Safest place in Oahu
Huge park with a nice series of walking paths
A large park with tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, soccer, Olympic size swimming pool, and archery range. Park has good jogging/walking trails. Next to swimming pool is Tanioka for bento, plate lunches, fresh poke, and drinks with tables and chairs. Open grass fields for flag football or frisbee, limited hours. Many mature trees for shade. Several parking lots. Located within the community Waipahu, South of Mililani, and across Kam highway is McDonalds, Shell gas station, Zippys, and shopping center with Foodland grocery. Costco is five minutes away. H-1 and H-2 is 5 min. 10 minutes drive to Walmart Mililani and shopping center.
Food was great and service was awesome, I just rarely give 5 * but definitely 4*s. If you do go theyre dont mess around, get the fried chicken, and chicken soup. The Pumpkin and the boysenberry pies were great, mind you that these were two totally separate press.
We love this park!! Its huge and quiet, we take our German Shepherd and he runs around and gets all his energy out. And then we relax and usually have lunch after that.
One of my favorite parks. Very clean and well kept. Its a great place to hang with family, watch a local soccer game or baseball game. It offers beautiful trails for walking. Its perfect.
Lots of parking, picnic benches, shaded walkways.
Good park for walks. Multiple playground and lots of parking.
Beautiful park to run. My son does archery a couple times a week here. Plenty of space to have events.
The baseball facility is well maintained, but the parking there can suck if the park has many activities on the day you visit. With a pool, tennis courts, softball and baseball fields, and big grassy areas for soccer and flag football, it is a well used park.
Really good park, tennis court and baseball park downside is the amount of stray cats and the bathrooms arent that clean but overall there ok.
Its a great big park. Theres a bunch of baseball fields, some soccer fields, a playground for the kids, a pool, and an archery range. The walking path is a nice walk, or a nice bike ride, and or longboard Cruz. Some people bring their drones and R.C planes, and I bring a kite. Anyways its a nice park to have a picnic.
This park is huge. Great place to be outdoors, BBQ and play sports. It has a few playgrounds for keiki too
Lots of parking. I go to walk and enjoy being outside. But there are soccer fields, baseball fields, pool, and archery as well.
Well maintained family friendly and not crowded at all
This park is very spacious and has a lot of trees which offer a ton of shade. They have bathroom facilities in every section separated by parking lots and jungle gyms for children to play on too. Very convenient and relaxing!
Great facilities including multiple baseball fields, soccer fields, pool, playground, walking paths and even an archery range. Park for the most part is clean and well maintained.
Gates open at 6:30am always have plenty of open fields to go play on. Playgrounds are plentiful as well. Long running trails for morning cruises. Must call to reserve baseball fields. We found out the hard way. But definitely a great park. Clean, well kept, cared for. Not like some of these other ones Ive seen around here
Nice big park with baseball and softball fields. Tennis courts. I think there’s a pool? Ample parking lots. Clean bathrooms. Very busy on weekends. Youth sports tournaments are often held here.
Walking there is relaxing.
Great park but Im taking away a star because they seem to ignore the walk paths. People with disabilities would have to deal with a few areas of thick mud and tripping hazards.
Very nice place to go and watch different games. The fields, tennis courts &swimming pools are all well maintained.
This is a city facility that is not well managed. The tennis courts, swimming pool and baseball fields are well kept. Use is limited to weekends or a tournament here and there. The baseball field lights were out for a long period. Something like 2 years. The lights were replaced finally and games can now be played at this site. The 4 softball fields also had problems with the lighting, so now after 3 years 2 fields are able to be used at night. Still no solution in sight. These fields are used almost daily by adults and girls softball teams. Since there are hourly charges for the use of the fields it is not being maintained. Where there was once the ability to have 4 fields nightly it is down to 2 fields. Calls to the Council members are received but no action is being taken. Just words of it should be soon. There are televised games at the softball field and it shows when the scoreboards are not working well. Lights are not all working. This shows the City is not trying to make the facility available to the public. If you charge someone user fees, then the facility must be kept up to meet the costs. National tournaments that attract teams from all over the country for soccer could be matched with having softball fields of the same quality. Youth baseball is well maintained at CORP but who takes care of the softball fields. It is not the City personnel other than picking up trash and cutting the grass. This area could bring millions of dollars to the area and State. Investing in what you have is crucial. Waimanalo residents have a point saying the City is unable to maintain what they already have.
A huge park. Biggest Ive ever seen. Come and visit. Tennis, baseball, of course swimming. Lets see how good you are.
Clean park, great interconnecting trails. I love going here to walk or run.
Patsy T. Mink regional park is gorgeous, quiet, has plenty shade, and can host many sports events. I recommend this park for any age
I am personally a baseball player and played here many years. I love the experience and how great the fields were. Kept I good condition and clean.
The parks for children are okay. The question I have is. How do you build softball and baseball fields yet you dont allow people to play on them? They have some weird rules that doesnt allow you to play on them unless you have a legitimate game. Only in Hawaii I guess. No wonder mainland teams are far superior. They actually let the kids practice to get better.
Good park to enjoy the day with family, aloha
Large park many shaded areas. Much to do there. Bathrooms clean. Parking adequate. Better signage might make driving thru the park easier since it is so large & many venues. Beautiful though & well maintained.
I love walking and jogging in this park and then after get to shower by the pool area. But I havent been there since I moved to Makaha. I recently went to the park to enjoy once again to walk and jogging. Then I read a sign posted by the shower area regarding ONLY pool patrons use shower only. So what about the parks patrons?
Perfect Sunday in the park!
Best park to gather your thoughts, have some me time, jus chill.
Very big spacious park for walking, jogging, tennis, baseball, soccer, swimming. Lots of grass, paved trails and trash recrptacles throughout the parl. Restrooms and two widely separated jungle gyms for younger children to play on
Beautiful area. Plenty of activities going on. We were there for the regional swim meet.
There r so many courts n they r well maintained. The staff here tries to do a good job maintaining this place n the food in cafeteria is great!!
Restrooms are clean and the fields are well kept. Nice place for sports/events
Great place to go for a simple walk with a toddler, not necessarily anything special to see except having several playgrounds to play in and an expansive field for them to run around and play in.
Awesome place to pass time with the family
Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park, in Waipio. This is a Large Park in Central Oahu.Amenities: Walking / Running Paths,Tennis Courts, Aquatics Area, Baseball and Softball Fields, Soccer and Football Areas. This park is well maintained.*Great for Picnics and Birthday Parties too.Hugs Wes n Wanda Anzai
Nicely kept. Parking is horrific. Parked a mile just to get to an event. Not enough handicap stalls. They closed a whole parking lot, which was empty, for unknown reasons. I would give it a 5 star rating for cleanliness.
The mens restroom is not clean
Fields are great but the bathrooms are SOOOOOO far away! Its pretty ridiculous!
Tennis, swimming, softball, baseball, soccer...fields galore! A great place to walk and get out in the sun.
Nice park with several playgrounds scattered about. Love taking my grandbaby to the shaded one. He had a blast!!
Great park for all types of sporting events. Big problem with the daily car burnouts in the parking lot by the tennis court along with loud music and the smell of pot. Need to have more HPD activity in the park to help keep the park a safe and drug free place.
Good place to go walking or bike riding with the family like in my case. Lots of facilities like baseball, softball, soccer fields, tennis courts, swimming pool, and archery range. Lots of parking and bathrooms. I recommend this park.
Well kept! Great for walking, tennis or baseball.
Well kept park, ample parking. Some playgrounds could use a few closer benches for parents supervising children. Picnic tables are well places in shaded areas.
I love going to this park at anytime of the day. Always came here since high school for school events. Now that I have kids, I like to take them to the playground and they love it especially my daughter. Its also a great spot to relax and take nap from all the driving. Different fields for baseball, softball, tennis, soccer, and a archery spot.
Great place for Baseball games, soccer fields plus large and small family picnics!!!
Great park, it has some of everything; a pool, softball and baseball fields, soccer and football fields...
Parking is terrible. Another example of how the local govt does things. Huge park that can handle large events but they block parallel parking along the drive? Idiots.
The paved walk ways and side walks are in terrible shape
Swim meet. They didnt check the Chlorine 1st in the morning. 100 plus parents and kids planned and trained for 2 months. We all waited 2 hours to find out...pool closed and we were sent away.Poor pool management. A disappointment for the many kids who worked so very hard to be ready. Frustrating for the many parents and grandparents who came to cheer keiki on!
This is a great place to take a walk. Plenty of parking and clean. Most people pickup after their dogs. Some of the people with their big dogs will make you nervous, especially when its obvious they are having a hard time controlling them.
Well kept facilies. Very open n clean. Grounds crew are friendly n diligent.
Nice place to have lunch and have your dogs run around a little!
Clean, a lot of tennis courts, walking paths and nature.
Its OK ..constant noisy traffic spoils the nature sounds
At the Time I was there it wasnt crowded so the choice of parking was awesome
Beautiful and spacious place.
I knew Patst T. Mink, she would be proud and happy of this beautiful park!
The park is huge and is equipped to provide for all sports.
Nice place to take your lady
Great park
Awesome bow range, soccer fields, tennis, Olympic swimming pools, got engaged there under the moonlight, big awesome park mahalo patsy mink god bless!
Absolutely love this spot lots of room to play sports and or take children to play, ride bikes etc.
Its big and with lots of parking most of the time.
I always go here for swim meets. There are bleachers, but bring tents. The water for the showers in the locker rooms is cold on the weekends for some reason, but normally it is warm on the week days. It is an olympic size pool and can be separated by a bulkhead for short course season.
Huge beautiful park.No smoking
Nice park, great walking/ jogging path. Lots of picnic areas, restrooms. Wide grassy areas and trees. Many baseball/ softball fields, where organized sports are played. Jungle gyms for kids too. Lots of parking.
A nice park for the kids.
I love the selection of different park activites you can do here
