Had a blast with my 4 year old. Since no one was there due to covid. We got to forget about covid and have fun for a short time.

I attend Zumba with Mandi at the Dewey Center every Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 7 PM & she is wonderful! The staff at the Dewey are so friendly and make you feel like nothing but welcome. Kids are always smiling and having fun, its a great place for the whole family!

The outdoor park is pretty simple compared to some of the parks in town, but it has a great play structure and a water play pad and covered picnic tables. One of Wacos many well-maintained parks right here at the recreation center.

The only reason why I give 4 stars and not 5 is because of bathroom use. There arent any outdoor bathrooms. You have to go inside the facility to use the bathroom so that means once it closes, you no longer have access to a bathroom. No the facility does NOT stay open late til 9 or 10pm, it closes early at 6pm. Well most families want to stay past 6pm at the park while its nice and cool!!!! The city of Waco needs to accommodate this park because all of its other parks bathrooms stay open until 9pm.

It was ok if you are just going for a walk but I saw nothing special about it.

West Point Karate Academy is done at this facility! Ive been a student here for 9 months. Come join us Tuesday and Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. till noon! Students five years of age and up $25 a month if you like it karate key is $20. Your first class is free...

Great place for kids has a lot of functions

Do not pay to use the outdoor pavilion at this park. It was filthy - litter everywhere. Beer cans, rotting food, overflowing trash cans. The Waco Parks Dept did refund our $100 rental fee. The park is supposed to be smoke free and alcohol free but it is not. There were people hanging out under the pavilion when we arrived that said they actually lived there. There is a spray park and play ground equipment that would be very nice is the litter was cleaned up and the area was maintained & policed.

Fun to go to. I only go for basketball but Im sure it has alot more to offer.

Needs some TLC. Still a nice park tho.

Nice 9 hole disc golf course. Played it twice for a full 18 holes.

My family and I went for the Easter egg hunt this weekend. the staff was wonderful, very pleasant and friendly. there were lots of games with prizes and activities for the kids to enjoy. they had Easter baskets for all the children there and even extras. what a wonderful event, very organized and well thought-out.we will definitely do it next year. this was our first time there, and we were very impressed. the facility was clean. also the dig for the going kids was perfect for the youngsters, great idea.

Their summer program is affordable and really good!! My six year old takes field trips just about every week and really enjoys himself.The staff are very trustworthy and friendly. Very happy with them :)

Nice disc golf course and will be even better when they get tee markers. The rec center is nice. Pool table, table tennis etc. Check it out.

Best Spot To Play Basketball At

Nice facility. Staff is helpful. Basketball court, computer room, a few classrooms of varying sizes and a small workout room. A nice place to hold community events.

Ok place but not always at night

We went there to clean up with the church. Its a really nice park. But the locals that live there around it had trashed it bad. Trash was scattered all over the park.

They have Zumba classes, classes are offered by Zumba with Mandy. Check her out on FB. This place is nice, clean, and organized. Zumba classes on Wednesday are $3 one hour class, really worth the time and money. Ive lost a few pounds from taking the classes. The teacher Mandy fun and great. If you like Zumba, go check this place out.

Went to vote, and it went smoothly. Will return to use the facilities with the kids.

This recreation center is conpletely redone and offers excellent programs, including after school care. The outdoors area has fun playground equipment and a spray park.

The place is a Waco treasure. A place to rest, relax, meet friends and enjoy nature. Staff is phenomenal.

Such a beautiful building, a great place to hold meetings and for our youth to have a safe place to go for some fun.

Very spacious with lots of amenities for all ages.

People do drugs and drug deals in this park. Its a nice size lots of grass, playground but a few people have to ruin it.
