Weve been going here to watch movies for years because of the prices compared to other theaters. Unfortunately, on New Years Eve we went and were going to watch two movies because its vacation time and we dont get to go as much with such busy schedules. I had talked to someone about the movies and prices beforehand. I thought I was given the correct information. We watched the first movie and then we had about thirty minutes before the next one. When we went to purchase the second tickets they were regular price. I didnt understand why. When I asked the person helping was very nice and apologized. I understood it wasnt her fault. I asked to speak to a manager because I wanted to know how to get the correct information and explain we live over 30 minutes away. When I tried to talk it seemed like it was a bother. Another person that has worked there for several years showed me on her phone how to look things up (which I appreciated) but when I explained my experience when trying to look up things I was wrong. Now everything comes up correct. Well I hope it does. But the attitude was unnecessary. We then went to a gallaxy theater and watched the movie we wanted to see for the discount price. I will probably go back. Its only one bad egg...I am also sad because they took away their discount movies. It was nice to have that option because everyone knows how expensive the movie theater can be.
This review is for theater on main street not the Sequoia mall. My daughter is special needs. I know she was being loud. She was having a little fit on hall way. We were asked to keep it down. Just by looking at her you know she isnt a normal kid. Her features says it all. I was trying to calm her but I wasnt succeeding. When she is loud, I do step out where ever I am. She wasnt that loud. We were waiting in hallway for the movie to start.
Love this place. Very cozy. Sometimes long lines at concessions though
Great movie theater. The seat are comfortable and the place is nice and clean. The snack and popcorn are pretty good.Nice and friendly staff.Big parking are.I encourage you to come over and check them out and create your own experience and write your own review.
The employees were really nice, but we hated the seats.
I absolutely love this place. It has smaller auditoriums but it also gives you a chance to almost have the auditorium to yourself. Not many come here because they naturally think about the bigger theaters. However I have to say its truly relaxing and enjoyable when there is less people and less noise. Plus they have inexpensive tickets! I literally paid $3.75 today (Tuesday) for each ticket!! Can you say winning!!! Lol. Thanks sequoia mall for never failing me! The staff rocks!!!!
They r really good about me having to bring my service dog
Took my two youngest grandchildren to watch the new John Cena film, a great time was had by all lots of laughs for all ages.
Never really packed and peaceful. Bad thing seats a fairly close about 12 rows. The projection on screen blurs and curves at edges it takes away the cinematic feel. Friendly staff.
This theater isn’t too bad. The seats are comfortable, though they don’t seem to rock or recline at all. I bought my tickets through the Atom app this time, but the staff member I interacted with to scan my ticket was friendly and helpful. I know this theater offers some good deals depending on when you go, but I never seem to land on those days and have payed full-price the last 3 or 4 times I’ve visited. Props to Regal for reaching out about details on this review.
Nice clean theater and friendly staff. Also clean and well stocked restrooms.
It was good. The staff was helpful, as they always have been when I have gone before. And, I will be returning
This theatre is a great place to go out and watch a movie and to relax after a stressful day from work. This place is always clean and the restrooms are always clean. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Great customer service.
Much friendlier here then the other one. A bit older and definitely smaller, but not a bad place to see a movie.
Enjoy taking my kids here. The staff is always friendly. I enjoy it here more than the one on bridge
Had to but tickets at the consession counter. Waiting for others to decide on snacks before we could get tickets to watch the movie. Get there early...
Loved starwars thank you excellent peaceful showing ! Well enjoyed !
Great experience every time I go! Plenty of comfortable seating. Spacious leg & arm room. Cup holders on every arm rest. Great sound & picture quality. Many current $3.75 movies to choose from.
Not a busy as they used to be back in the day.Worth the effort to come back again.
Wonderful day spending time with my sister and watching Little Women!
Ive always loved my Regal Cinemas in the Sequoia Mall and in Downtown on Bridge Street, very nice and clean and awesome screens
Super comfy chairs, popcorn delish!
Went to see movie at 9pm the screen has been in error for 30min went to let the employees know and they had no sense of urgency at all. Didn’t apologize for the inconvenience no heads up. Then 15 mins later came back out and still no apology asked for refund told we would have to wait. Worst customer service employees can’t communicate when there is an issue the management needs to seriously work on there communication this review could have been avoided with a simple heads up. Also to make things worse they closed the register so we had to wait an additional 10min to get our refund. Just over a terrible experience with no apology.
Little Women was out of focus the entire film. Headache watching it. Two people complained and apparently the staff felt it was in focus?! They dont know how to calibrate their equipment. Right speaker was also distorted.
There’s a weird thing with the volume of the previews. I hated it & it ruined the movie experience. Will go to a different theatre next time.
U want to pay $3.75 for a movie ticket? This is the spot. (Usually ones that have been out awhile. Does not apply to all movies/showings) I love the fact that the movie theater is always very quiet and usually not too busy. Always parking available.
First Time coming here for the cinema and surprisingly the prices were good.
Amazing atmosphere, love the game area for the kids so i can get popcorn for a minute lol. Amazing seats and you gotta love them $1 movies
This place is weird. Everyone constantly asking if I had tickets. Food is awful and prepackaged ($7 for small bag of stale tostitos and a scoop of cold nacho cheese) its so slow I would assume more thought would be placed into food (thats where your sales are!)
This is the place to go for Christian movies. The theater is clean and the seats are slightly reclining and comfortable. There is a nice variety of snacks and the employees are always friendly.
Cute for ol school movies.
So much fun, and you can get disk count on your movies
Despite the smaller screen sizes I enjoy this theater because the sound is better than other movie theaters, a lot of other ones these days have their volume set too low. Also they have very good quality projectors. Homey little experience and great staff. I look forward to coming here, despite the fact that it is a plain, traditional theater. They offer discount days as well.
I think this place is really underrated and thats kind of what I enjoy about it. Its never a long line and they have amazing deals for slightly older films still playing here EVERYDAY/NIGHT.
Well staffed. Lines moved quickly. Improved searing is awesome. We sat in the back row, and the arms lift up. We assume this is the same on all of the seats. Theater areas are kept very clean. JV
A quick purchase, and in/out moves were good.
Very small yet nice and comfortable Mall. I like it.
The chairs are comfortable. But the set up isnt
Best theater in Visalia, never too crowded, and no long line for snacks. Cool arcade not far and in the same mall, if you dont go super late in the afternoon. They also have $3 movies if you go on the right days, theyre still good movies. 5/5 would recommend.
Love this theater, thanks for having comfortable seatingOne issue I have here is you guys dont always have the latest movieI wish the one downtown would have your seats but they are so outdated
Great little local theater. They have great deals during non prime hours and also keep movies playing a bit longer after theyve been released. This is great for me since I dont usually go to new releases due to having to deal with younger kids laughing through entire movies regardless of what genre it is.
Movie was good. Sat in the back left as it was a full showing of Mary Poppins Returns. The ears are not super comfortable for a long movie. They need to maybe replace these. It was nice however that the speakers were up higher so they weren’t blaring in your ear. Price $8.90 for an afternoon movie. Why so expensive?
Theater is getting older but employees still very friendly. Had to buy tickets at concession stand.
It still a good place to go watch movies.
Good place to see movies.
Overcome was an awsome movie. A must see.
Don’t even think about being late to the last showing, they won’t let you in!!!
Not worth more then $3.75... Seats are super uncomfortable, theaters are small and outdated. Not bad for $3.75 but would never pay more
Not a fan of theaters where the seats arent staggered by stairs. Its accessible but sucks if youre short since the seats cover the bottom bit of the screen.
Ive been coming to this theater since I was 9 years old and just love the ambience, every time Im in town. I remember seeing movies like Recess: Schools Out and Rollerball in the early 2000s, as well as more recent movies like The Strangers: Prey At Night. Cozy environment and great experience!
I was extremely pleasantly surprised by how nice the theaters are. The picture, sound, lighting and seating were all top notch! I felt that it was much nicer theater and overall experience than the more expensive downtown Regal 10 Cinemas. Ill definitely be back!
$3.75 tickets for early show. Nice on the budget.
Love my movie let my movie price it was pretty awesome night out for me and my son the only downside was I think I paid something like 25 or $26 for a hot dog and soda and popcorn and the hot dog was so disgusting I could barely eat it and it took them at least 20 minutes to make my hotdog and almost made me late my movie the manager came over and was making my hot dog because theyre busy and was short-staffed but he couldnt get the glove on his hand in the first place he didnt wash his hands
While a little empty and some projector screens leave lots to be desired it is nonetheless a fine establishment. Very cozy, and welcoming. The 4K Sony projectors they use provide high quality image and with recent seating renovations this theater is becoming better suited for dates or just going out than its counterpart on Main St
I always enjoy coming to the Regal. 3.75 to watch a movie. Thats a good deal.
Good service and friendly staff. I liked the 3D room, it was compact and stylish with a capacity for a few people which makes the space more intimate. Yet, the screen had some wrong visual effects at the beginning of the movie but it turned out better as the movie went on; or maybe my eyes got adjusted. Anyways, it was a good experience.
The movie was good but the popcorn was old
Its ok, need reclining chairs, need to catch up to the competition. Other than that, its a good place to catch a movie
Guess I was nice the movie as good yeah I have fun I will go back Emma the guy that8
If you want to go see cheap movie and enjoy it it is nice place to go see the movies.
This theater has good deals, which make it worth it. But its a bit on the dingy side, so keep that in mind. If you can Id go to the Regal on Bridge Street or even the Tulare one. Still it is a good bang for your buck, just a tad dingy.
This is an older theatre that shows cheap older movies but its nice and quiet during the day and busier at night and weekends.
I enjoy going to the movies. But this theater needs some serious help in the customer service department. I purchased my tickets from the Regal App & paid my convenience fee so I wouldnt have to stand in line. Get to the theater: nobody to scan my app so I have to stand in line. Ask for a discount on my popcorn for my inconvenience. They did nothing for me.
I prefer this theater over the one on Main Street because of how comfortable the seats are, plenty of room and it has a better image and sound to it. Sure the location at night is sketchy but atleast it isnt as bad on Main Street. The parking lot is close rather than having to cross the street and enter the parking duplex. Also, after the movie ends and the hunger kicks in there are plenty of fast food places near by it.
This theater i highly recommend because all the nice workers.
Too bad its a ghost town now that Sears is closing.
Great place when one gets to seat in the cinema nearly empty during the week. The weekends are different but it beats being crowded with people talking n on their cell phone like other cinemas. The people are very friendly that work there. All is needed is a little better seating in one cinema.
Very clean facility and helpful employees at the snack bar.
Quick friendly service. Great place for entrainment.
So unfortunately the crowd that sees movies here (very discounted since it really isnt a full size theater) can be very unruly and loud! I ended up walking out of the movie because the young ladies behind my row simply didnt understand that no one was there to hear their commentary no matter how many times they were shushed or glared at. Now, why 2 stars you ask? The price is right for movies that are out, and the management DID refund the cost of the tickets. So I cant claim that there is anything the staff did wrong, its just not a great/respectful crowd that goes here. If you want to see a movie with people who care about the experience others are having, go downtown or to Tulare.
Not crowded nice and clean.
Theyre awesome they have $4 movies.
Good theater, snacks and drinks are overpriced (but thats how the theater makes all its money so fair game). Seats are fine but the Galaxy theater in Tulare has much finer seats that are luxurious and for the same price
Always a good experience!
Im glad the theater is surviving regardless of what the mall is doing. That being said it could use a little face lift. The minimum staffing tends to lead to longer lines, But Ill keep coming because the prices are right.
Security said closed at 6 when the arcade is closed at 8 on a Sunday?
Good place for kids movies during the summer, they show older movies for $1. For weekend releases they may show one, this theatre usually shows older movies for full price. It is located in the practicality empty mall. Dont expect to do something fun in that mall.
Fun for the whole family I will be coming back.
Nice small and friendly
Go here quite often for the discount movies. Especially on Tuesdays for their deals. Great place to go for a great price as well
Great movie Overcomer
Mexican food wansent the best
Yay...clean restrooms...nicer seats..good customer service at confectionary !!!
Not happy when I took 6 people in and ordered 2 LG soda and popcorns and only got one free candy because I paid for it all, they said it was one transaction and it needed to be too. I offered to pay separately and they wouldnt do it. Just might be why people bring in candy and food from outside. Just saying!
Very clean and efficient
Enjoyed the movie but staff need to find their manners.
Good memories and movie discounts. Yeah, they get movies later than other theaters, but it is a very calm place. I have social anxiety and I love going here because its not too crowded and who doesnt love going in their pjs??? The staff is nice and the place is pretty clean.Ive been going here since I was small and would hate for it to leave anytime soon.
The theater its self is rated 2stars
Good local theater
The staff is friendly a very helpful.
Pets 2 was cute and seats were comfy
Clean, fast, and always nice
Love this theater comfortable reclining chairs, beer (and wine I think) lots of yummy goodness and the only theater I will go too now because all other theaters that do dont offer those amenities is uncivilized. Thats my review
We always go to this theater over the one on main street. It has smaller, friendlier staff, better popcorn, and it less crowded.
It has great stuff to snack on and the movie screan is really good.
The price was fair but the space is small did a little kid just kick the back of my chair ..smh
We love going to this theatre it has movie specials ND love the food
