I do not recommend going here. The gym is extremely dirty and not very clean. But the main thing is the kids will tease you if you are different. They literally took my phone when I was recording something and missed the actual part when I did the skill and it was the best one I did in my whole life compared to the other fulls I did in my whole life. They also took every single mat I was using for stuff that really didnt need a mat they asked if anyone was using this and I told them I was. They said is any good tumblers using it then they kicked me off. ONE OF THE MOST RUDE THINGS I HAVE EVER HEARD. There are also always little kids running around so it makes it so that I cant do any tricks without some kid getting in the way. There were also people who would always cut me in line and when I told the staff they did nothing. When I told them I was here first they said exactly, like youre gonna do anything! Then went before I did. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE GO TO HURRICANE GYMNASTICS IF YOU CAN IT IS MUCH MORE RESPECTFUL, CLEANER, THE COACHES ARE BETTER AND THEY HAVE GOOD OPEN GYM. Oh yeah and OT gymnastics doesnt have a foam pit and its spring floor is less than 80 or 90 feet in diameter. I RECOMMEND ANY OTHER GYM I AM NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!

My daughter and I visited Virginia for about 10 days. During that time I enrolled her in Ocean Tumblers Tots Camp. Ava woke up every morning that week and wanted to go to camp. Ava had so much fun that she asked to go back the next week. She especially liked her teacher Katelyn who was patient and nice. She also gained many skills that week and was able to do some of them at home.The facility was absolutely beautiful and organized. It was also extremely clean. I appreciated that the bathrooms were newly remodeled and beautiful. There also was air conditioning throughout the building which is really nice on those hot days. The front desk staff was courteous and were able to answer my questions about the programs that they offered at the gym. There is plenty of parking in the lot so we were able to get to class on time. I recommend Ocean Tumblers because of the quality programs they offer, professionalism of the staff, and my daughter just loved coming to this gymnasium.

I have been going to the Lynnhaven for almost my whole life and I have been in xeal and I am moving over to the Chesapeake gym and both the gyms are amazing and very clean and everyone is very nice

Be careful !!!! Head ups !!! There is a couch that doesn’t treat the girls well He call the girls by nickname ( no nice nickname) and make the girl feel so bad and sad ... please keep an eye out ..... it happed to my daughter recently . She is not coming anymore to that place . She doesn’t need someone to call her by horrible nickname .

My daughter has been at OT for 4 years. First in rec classes and now on the XCEL team. Wonderful coaches and families!

Overall, this place has great equipment and staff. There are no problems with the staff members or instructors. They know what they are teaching and they do it well. While the parking can get a little hectic, they have nice classes for people to attend gymnastics in different time slots on different days. The reason why it got 3 stars is because of the sanitation. The smell of the place in my opinion is unbearable and if you arent used to the smell, its going to take some time to get used to. As well as the smell, the equipment doesnt look like it is properly sanitized and disease and parasites such as head lice could easily spread at a rapid pace. There isnt enough cleansing of equipment after sessions. The floors at least look like they have been swepped, the sanitation problem consits solely on the equipment. Its not like the equipment is visibly dirty, its the bacteria. The proper sanitation isnt being met like using disenfectant spray on a regular basis. In the end, its a nice place to go to if you enjoy gymnastics, but just watch out for the smell and poor sanitation.

My daughter attended Ocean Tumblers for a one year period in which she was never evaluated or moved from a beginner level. There was no structure to class, and new skills were not taught on a regular basis. I was never informed on my childs progress nor given instruction or information on things to do at home with my child to help improve their gymnastics. The facility is incredibly dirty and parking is a nightmare. I do not recommend this facility for gymnastics.

I have had the best experience here my coach has taught me so much I only had my backhand spring the first time I went and I got my round off back tuck the same day!

I took the Cheer tumbling class and it was a joke. I jumped on a trampoline for half an hour than stood on the spring floor while the coaches told us to work on what we wanted. the class had no structure and was the worst experience ive ever had in a gym.

I go here every monday and they taught me stuff no gym could so over all great great gym and great coaches!

Great teachers for girls; Lacking advanced classes for boys.

Watch out for the head lice. I never see anyone using Lysol or wiping down the mats and equipment when the classes finish. God forbid some kid comes to tumble with open sores and a virulent case of MRSA.
