Gymstrada has been a wonderful experience for my child! You know they’re doing something right when it’s the highlight of a child’s week! They have taken social distancing, sanitizing, and cleanliness very seriously and it shows! Very highly recommend for all age groups!

This place was exactly what my 5 year old daughter needed. The coaches are absolutely great with keeping her busy and focused. Shes worn out by the time class is over. Its extremely helpful for my daughter who is on the autism spectrum and had ADHD.

My girls (7 and 5) LOVE Gymstrada. We go for one hour a week and it’s the perfect amount of time for their age. They definitely get WORKED, but I mean that in the best possible way. The price is very reasonable for gymnastics in general, but especially for the attention each child gets individually. This is our first experience with gymnastics and I feel like we picked the best gym for us.

We LOVE Gymstrada. We recently switched from a very well known (and expensive) gym in the area because of their terrible management & outrageous prices. We are so happy with Gymstrada. Excellent Gym! Great coaching, great environment. Well organized. They keep you well informed. My daughter is transferring in at a level 7 and cannot be happier! There is a working parent association. And fun team building activities for the gymnast every week.

My two girls have been doing gymnastics for 3 weeks now and theyre loving it so far. The prices are reasonable. The staff seems very friendly.

This place stinks!! Mats, floors, bathrooms... are not cleaned daily. Moms come with multiple kids and have no control of them. Kids that are not part of the classes are all over the place, in the gym area, moms allow kids to run around stepping on other kids and adults feet. Moms come in with strollers, carriers... this place is too small to have so much going on. Gymstrada needs to get some order to this nasty place!!!

Amazing office staff... very friendly and helpful. I have a 4 and 8 year old the coaches are great at working with both of them. Classes are flexible and work with both of my kids and our schedules. Able to make up classes easily.

Gymstrada is the BEST gymnastics studio in Hampton Roads. Our daughter has been a part of the Gymstrada community for almost 2 years, and she loves it! We have seen a tremendous improvement in her strength and her gymnastics skills continue to progress. The coaches are absolutely wonderful and guide the children to be the best that they can be! The coaches are well-trained, and help the kids succeed at their own level. We are thrilled with Gymstrada and we highly recommend this gym!

My daughter used to do gymnastics back in Washington state. The place was huge and new. Ive heard about this gym from several people that it was the place to go to. Upon arriving the looks of it kind of deceived me...looks are deceiving. The gym is smaller then what were used to but they were equipped with more than enough equipment to keep everyone busy on something. She did the free day trial and I seriously couldnt of been more impressed. The instructors/coaches were amazing and they kept them busy the entire time. There wasnt much slack to goof off and I really liked that. So you really get the most bang for your buck. Way to go on leaving a great first impression!!

We have been coming for a month and my 3 and 5 year olds are just thrilled to come every time. This has been so great for them. They are normally not very daring and pretty scared of things like climbing etc. After the first class they started doing somersualts every day athome. We had been trying to get my 5 yr old to do them forever. The coaches are always so kind and positive. No pressure. Just gentle guidance. As a teacher, this is the way to approach effectively teaching young kids. Great place. Thank you.

Absolutely love this gym, my daughter is starting her 4th year of competitive gymnastics and we love it! She came from another local gym and was told our daughter was not good enough. Came to Gymstrada and they saw her potential and she is doing great. They teach with positive reinforcement and truly care about the kids and they treat everyone fairly, they don’t pick favorites!! Moving to Gymstrada was seriously the best thing for our daughter!!

My daughter loves Gymstrada! We did trial classes at the other gyms before making a final decision but this gym was the best. The coaches are great with the kids! My son has been going to classes at gymstrada for the past 2 years. It has been an amazing experience. We started with one class on Saturday morning and now he goes 3 times a week.These guys are professional. First when they say the class is an hour, it means it is an hour. They start on time and finish on time. Non-stop. They make it fun, but more important they are strict enough that all kids learn something. Though the ratio of girls is way higher than boys, my son have enjoyed every bit of it and he has improved in other sports (tennis). My sister came from out of state to register her 2 daughters for summer camp because of how much I bragged about it. They had a fantastic time that they renewed an extra week. I really can’t say enough about that place and the people who run it. Fanatic coaches. Thank you!

My oldest daughter was a team gymnast, my middle daughter was a team gymnast, and now my son does recreational gymnastics. My oldest daughter and my son both are on the Autism spectrum, and everyone here has always been great with them. Even though both of my daughters have moved onto other endeavors, the coaches and staff still ask how they are doing (3 years after) and the skills they learned here have led them to continued success. Gymstrada is the ONLY gymnastics program in Hampton Roads I would recommend!

We moved here this past summer and Gymstrada welcomed my son to their team. The coaches are well-trained, professional, communicative, and passionate. They truly care about our sons health, safety, and overall well-being. It is great to see the boys encouraging and cheering each other, which speaks to the values of their mentors. My daughter (4yo) LOVES Saturdays, because Saturday is Gymstrada day! She has, over the past two months, grown in amazing ways thanks to Gymstrada. Gymnastics is a wonderful way for kids to develop valuable life skills such as perseverance and determination, as well as kindness and patience. Gymstrada excels at guiding and teaching every student in the important physical aspects of gymnastics but also in the personal development necessary for success in life.My daughter was nervous during her very first few sessions, but the coaches worked closely with her; they are kind and welcoming but also strong and encouraging. She responded to them almost immediately. Now, all week, my daughter looks forward to her time at gymnastics in the Gymstrada gym! We will be coming here for a long time!

The facility was nice however if you have a child who is developmentally delayed this is not the place for them. I brought my developmentally delayed 3 year old and the whole time rude remarks were made toward her. The only reason I didn’t pull her from the class and leave is because she was enjoying herself and I want her to learn. I realize following directions is a huge component of this sport, I participated in my childhood but there’s no reason to make snide comments about my kid not being able to talk to you like a ‘normal’ 3 year old and how “we know our colors in this gym” seriously? I tried to call to see if I could speak with someone but unfortunately my calls are not going through. If you arent up for dealing with non neurotypical or disabled kids then please don’t say that them being so won’t be a problem. Despite that I am thankful my daughter got to enjoy being with the other children.

I love that I signed my kids up here its affordable and its very much worth it! My kids have learned so much and have so much fun doing it! I would recommend this place to EVERYONE!

I started taking my 3 year old daughter here in January and she absolutely loves it! She is learning real gymnastics skills in an age appropriate manner in a fun, fast pace that keeps her engaged. I also attended classes here as a kid and love that this place has been the local standard for gymnastics.

Amazing gym with great coaches! Our daughter is learning so much about how strong she really is and has a blast doing it! We will be very sad when we have to move, it will be very hard for another gym to compare.

The Boys gymnastics program is the absolute best! The coaches foster a true team environment. It is always great to hear the boys encourage one another. Not only are they teaching the boys to be competitive gymnasts, they are teaching them good life skills.

This is a great place to work, the owners & coaches look out for each other and treat you like family. They were so accommodating during my pregnancy as well as my sons early weeks! This gym has TONS of equipment compared to others I’ve worked at, which makes it much easier to drill skills and teach them properly. The competitive teams don’t “kick the rec classes off” of events as is the case in many other gyms. And the competitive teams don’t get overrun with little ones in the way. The coaches truly have a heart for teaching kids and get excited for them as they progress. Looking forward to this competitive season & hopefully more to come!

Gymstrada has the best coaches and my kids love them. My oldest daughter started when she was in 3rd grade. She stopped in 6th grade to try dancing. Now she is a freshman and has found out that gymnastics is for her.My six year old daughter and 11 year old son started in September of 2018. It’s always hard getting the kids here, but when they leave they are glad they came.

My daughter absolutely loves this place. After 2-weeks of being here my daughter was bumped up to the next level. Staff is great!

The facility looks nice and they have the equipment to do some good stuff. There are just so many kids in each class it look like a playground! Is seems as if they want to get as many kids in here as possible and collect that $80 a month. I feel like no one is really teaching or learning anything. The staff seem to be attending to teach but with 200 kids running crazy there is no time for the instructor to give the each student the time they need. Oh and if you decide to cancel make sure you do it way in advance (2 weeks) because they are going to run that card again and get that money!

I take my two children here and they ABSOLUTELY love it! Its worth the money too 2 days into this class they learned alot and caught right on to EVERYTHING they were doing. They made sure that my kids got help that they needed when they didnt know how to do something and they have multiple coaches in a group so its not just 1 coach to 15 kids... its great plus everywhere else I called 2 kids were 200 plus for an hour a week we do 2 hours a week for 2 kids under 200 its great prices coaches gym and all we would advise that you try here before anywhere else!

My daughter has been going here for 2 years now and it’s been a great experience for her. She switched over from another school after a year of being yelled at and held back for no good reason.At gymnstrada she went from being a beginner to competing on the silver level xcel team in within a year. It’s been exciting to see how much she’s grown and the friends she’s made along the way.The coaches are great and use positive coaching styles instead of fear and yelling at them like the last place she went.It may not be the prettiest place but it’s got the old school gym type of feel which I’ll take over the uppity type gyms that are more like social clubs.If you want a down to earth gym with coaches that are invested in your kids this is a great place.
