I ate my lunch in the shelter, overlooking the Wabash River. It was very peaceful, just what I needed. I went for a walk after eating. Very relaxing.

Loved it! Went in the evening time and there was a nice breeze! They have re-done it and it looks very nice! They have a sidewalk next to the river for walking! I recommend going and enjoying the river! Very calming!!

Alot more places for everyone to come and feel comfortable and love how they build a new kid playground for the little kids. Just Alot more room to do whatever you want to do.

Great park and site of a German prison camp. There is a boat ramp and several fire-pit/cookout areas and a new playground!

Its beautifull honestly the thing to happen to Kimmel Park is the fact that V.U bought it and redone all of it.

Its not the park it used to be. Still pretty but not what it should be.

This new river walk is very clean. And very safe for children we had four kids ages 2,6,10, and we did not have to worry about their safety, the fence or railings to the river were very well though out. There is a real nice open structure with electrical and lighting, further up the walk is a playground again very well thought out for child safety.

A little bit different than what I remember from back in the 50 ths

Very relaxing and has a beautiful view of the river plus you see amazing sunsets. Also a good area for random photo shoots with my kids and nieces and nephews. Good place to go and think about life.

Absolutely beautiful! Great place to picnic or walk and probably fish, although we didnt fish.

This is a great place to talk a walk and also walk your dog. They even provide doggie bags so you can pick up the poop and then put in trash before you leave. There is plenty of grass and walking area. I will be going back.

Its a good park spacious and good clean walking trails. Lots of updates and new playground area. Good for community functions and family and friends get togethers.

As a fishing spot, VU ruined it. The banks are covered with stones that get extremely slippery. There is practically no shade as the trees were all cut down. There are so many shad by the boat ramp that fish wont bite in the area anymore. The boating clubhouse was torn down. The shelter house is nice, but it always was. There is new playground equipment, but its little. There is room for a big playground like you might find in a bigger city, but its not there. Vincennes University shortchanged us.

Kids enjoyed the play equipment. Nice restrooms and picnic area

My grandkids and i love to picnic and climb the hills and the playground is very clean and fun for all ages!

Vu bought it and ruined it. The boat ramp sucks and the h block they installed will eat a boat.
