The course is spread out around housing so some fairways are narrow. Carts are highly recommended due to the distance between some holes.Course is well maintained except for the sand traps... like a COVID thing. Some of the grass is pretty tall.

Andrew who works at the front desk is very unprofessional. Andrew seems very disrespectful and has an attitude that shows no care for customer service. Anyone reading this I would highly recommend either the Calusa Lakes Golf Club or Pelican Pointe Golf Club any day over Waterford Golf Club.

Golf course was fantastic. Played Sawgrass and Gleneagles. Starter & pro shop clerk were both easy going and did a good job getting us ready to get out. Pace of play was spot on. I hope to be back soon.

Solid 4-star establishment. Perhaps the nicest surprise of our recent trip, overall sense that maintenance has improved (it was nice before, now just more refined). Think they’ve increased watering, not as rock hard on fairways. Greens have always been true, seem healthier now. Sufficient character, suggestion would be to include range balls in the greens fees. Nice clubhouse and hard-working, pleasant staff. Solidified spot on my “circuit”, I’ll return many times in the future.

Well conditioned public course. Fast greens, generous fairways. Nice staff. Good food.

Course is in terrible condition. Ive been in goat pastures better than this place. I wouldnt ever come back here. Fairways have almost no grass, dirt patches all over the fairways, greens in the same condition

Good staff. Busy place. Three 9 hole courses (Sawgrass, Turnberry, and Gleneagles). I like Turnberry the best (although beware on the score card for hole 8. They have it as a dog leg right, but its actually a dog leg left, then over a tree guarding the right side of the green). Sawgrass is accessed thru the parking lot and is by far the least played course. Not sure why though, terrific layout, very quiet, etc. Gleneagles is played right off the practice green and is mostly along the highway. They also have a clubhouse (full liquor bar + food), practice range ($3 for a small bucket of balls), and putting green. The putting green didnt have the cups cut into the green?? so when you practice just have to aim for the base of the flag. Cost is $37 for 18 holes with a cart (after 3pm). Well maintained, well run, good location.

This is a really beautiful course. Drinking water ice cold along the course and bathrooms that are clean . Club house has the usual food and drinks. Other golfers are easy going and pleasant even if youre a new golfer and a little slow. Have played as early as 1:00 and as late as 3:15 . Even when its busy with carts lined up 4 deep everyone is so patient which is really nice. This is also a tennis community. I havent tried their courts but they look well kept.

They advertise prices like a car dealership. I wouldnt play there again if they paid me. Very deceptive advertising and course is in poor condition. 60 dollars wasted. Play somewhere else.

A fun golf course - very demanding.Very skinny.

The staff is very professional and friendly. The price is reasonable for the very good quality of the entire course from tees to greens, which roll smoothly and true, at good speed. The course is fairly wide open, not tight, more forgiving than the wonderful Misty Creek. Pace of play is good, better in the mornings of course, like everywhere. I believe these 2 are the best courses near the south end of Siesta Key, where we stayed.

I visited this course over the weekend with a group of six of us. A few never played before so we was learning for sure. We brought 18 hole to play and rented 3 carts. From the very beginning we were profiled because none of us are elderly. We ranged from later 20s to mid 30s. My brother and I have worked at this course awhile back so weve cared for ground more than most player who visit. One gentleman working inside was rude from the start. Before we even began our first hole that guy from inside came up on his cart and started complaining telling us not to damage cart or the ground and said we had to move fast. I understand the fast part with the large group we had but no one else was there playing and in fact didnt see other golfers till 2 hours or so into playing. For him to imply we would do anything negative was wrong.After our first 9 we came back to buy a few more drinks and start our next 9. That same gentleman came out and again started to complain saying we didnt have enough time to play anymore so we had to leave. It was 4:30 and the place closes at 6 allowing plenty of time for at the very least for a few more. We pay for it i expect to get what i pay for as everyone should. He refused at first to give a refund for the last set we want to play and when we told him we wanted to go play since we had time he said no more drinks we saying we was cut with no basis for it. His excuse wa it would take us longer to play if we didnt.Now if that man would have left us alone from the start we would have be able to finish all 18 hole. He aruged with us for over 30 mins with no vaild basis for why he treated us this way. I will never go back. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I do not encourage anyone to play here just to simply save your the trouble of dealing with unreasonable employees.

DJd an event for a High School Graduation on Saturday May 26, 2018. Used their event clubhouse. Nice convenient small location. Courteous staff, well accessible bar with variety. Only downsides: main entrance has undercover area, but only stairs accessible, not wheelchair accessible. But has 2 other entrances wheelchair accessible. If it was raining hard, I wouldve had a difficult time offloading equipment in the rain, since the 2 side entrances have covered walkway, but not where vehicle can fit underneath. Main entrance is perfect for vehicle to fit in, but no ramp to load in any equipment/food/decor with wheel carts, etc. They happened to split the ballroom for 2 events simultaneously, had a complication for a few hours with music overtaking the other event. So, I would recommend not booking an event if there is already another event happening on the same day. Prevent this issue. Otherwise, convenient place! They are re-doing their Golf Course! It will look beautiful when done!

As I promised to you, I said I would say the course is nice. However I called many.times looking for my $500.00 glass on every round of golf. But I still feel that everything is about money. If someone calling so much, stating I lost the glasses when you switch carts because the other twosome didnt show up. Since you basically said that alot of people come in for losing something. I dont call all the time asking if you found my glasses, it wasnt about all the money, I thought offering a few free round would help. But as you said you would lose money by giving any rounds. It become abundantly clear that it is about money and not good customer service.But thank you for your time to speak to me and I hope it didnt cost to much to sit with me...

We came from MA for vacation and wanted to play a public course. Overall the layout was awesome and the course was very well maintained.But we were forced to play 20 mins earlier than our tee time, which was fine, but we were asked in an unforunately rude way by an employee who treated us as if we were a nuisance to get onto the course. Andrew at the front desk however is awesome and he deserves a raise in my opinion!But while on the course respecting the group in front of us (giving them space to hit their shots) the group behind us was extremely impatient and were very rude and unprofessional. They spoke of golf etiquette but they showed none themselves. The course was great but some of the people that run (besides Andrew) and play there acted in an unacceptable manner and as such we will not be going there again.
