Casey Leonard and Sylvia Berrios are cryo technicians here, and they are the most skilled and attentive providers. I HIGHLY recommend this location for those who have had a past negative experience or those who need to be put at ease during a first session. The cost per session is the best around, but is missing a star because I wish the owners would open a location in Portland!
The customer service and friendliness here is a joke. I work overseas on ships for three month at a time and then home for three months. When I first joined this gym I decided to try crossfit for the three months. It was great. I was getting stronger and having a great time with the coaches and other participants at a cost of $125 per month. When I left for work I decided to put by membership on pause until I came back at $10 per month. Once I did return, I decided to save some money and just do open gym at $40 per month. Something shifted while I was gone though, and no one was friendly anymore. None of the coaches I initially had, and had become friends with, were even acknowledging me or look in my direction. I thought it was because I was gone for a while and they had forgotten who I was. I tried many attempts to start conversations or give simple hellos but gave up and just got back to working out. After my three months home I put my membership back on pause and left for work. Over the next three months I continued to be billed at $40 per month even after multiple calls to fix it. Each time I was reassured it would be adjusted on my next bill and all would be fine. Finally I was fed up and wanted to cancel my membership completely. I called to explain the situation and was apologized to but still canceled... or at least I thought I did. The next month rolled around and guess what, I was charged $40 again. This happened for two more months until I was finally told my account was confirmed canceled and I would be receiving a call from the manager to be spoken to. That call never came.TL;DR- As soon as you stop paying for the expensive classes, they will forget about you and neglect to cancel your membership when asked. $240 down the drain for zero workouts in six months.
Great people! Great place to workout
Great gym! Clean well working equipment. I never feel like Im pressed in by people. Only thing Id like to see is a sauna room. Helps get out the sweat on cold days and start the engine. Thanks!
This has definitely been one of the best gyms I have been a part of. Not only is the monthly fee a good deal, it offers many classes and a well maintained facility and work out equipment. Ive met some very friendly people and the coaches/instructors are very friendly and encouraging. Overall I would rate this gym a 10/10.
I went here for cryotherapy and found the staff very friendly and accommodating. The person who instructed me on how to make the best of the cryotherapy session was knowledgeable, professional, and personable and I highly recommend this fitness club as they have so much more to offer.
Excellent gym, excellent coaches. My only wish is that they were open later and had a swimming pool.
Great gym, friendly atmosphere, no judgement. Overall its an amazing experience for just starting out, or for more experienced gym lovers.
While I loved the crossfit classes that were offered, the trainers, facilities and the times available, once I wasnt able to make it to the gym it took about 6 months to get them to cancel my membership. After multiple calls, emails voicemails to both the payment company they use as well as the gym it is finally cancelled but I am now being sent collection letters for more money. At this point it has been about 9 months since I was able to use the facilities or classes and they are still trying to collect money. In short: great while you are there, frustrating and costly once you try to leave.
I have been to numerous athletic clubs and none of them match the atmosphere when you walk into this club! Its clean, the employees are helpful and friendly, and the energy that flows from this place immediately puts you in the mood to burn some calories. The class options available under one membership price are insane because they are so affordable. CrossFit, kickboxing, submission wrestling, and zumba. You dont want to participate in a class....cool do your own thing. Personally witnessing other members bodies and attitudes change is awesome and keeps me coming back hungry to tackle my next fitness goals.
It’s good
The gym hours do not meet my needs, and I do not see that changing anytime soon. When I asked about discontinuing my membership was told to call their billing service, sorry but that just does not cut it, ease of entrance and exit to a gym should be the same. And lastly, have had the discomfort on not finding any toilet paper on two occasions, honestly running a gym is not rocket science and this should never happen. The gym itself is good, but as membership grows and with the emphasis on MMA I forsee issues with overcrowding on the treadmills which is my main exercise method. If you are looking for MMA style gym this is a good place, if you need to work out prior to 7 AM or on Sunday avoid this gym.
I absolutely love this gym!!! They offer GREAT programs for a GREAT price!! When you walk through the door you will be amazed just by looking at the facility. Yes it seems a bit high, but if you look at other gyms, lets use CrossFit for an example, you pay $110 a month.... JUST for CrossFit! And I cant remember if that was unlimited classes or not. $40 a month for unlimited CrossFit, combat classes, MMA, Zumba, kickboxing classes and more is outstanding! The trainers and staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. PLUS theres your normal gym equipment, two full basketball courts, a boxing ring, an octagon and I believe twelve punching bags! Also right now theres a Groupon for $20 for one month membership + half off the initiation fee. Ive been a member for a full week now and am loving every minute of it.
Great Crossfit classes!
I was told that I was NOT membership material when I attempted to reschedule my enrollment appointment. Who does that?
