Ive always enjoyed this park but lately its turning into a homeless encampment. I went there about 8am this past Saturday morning and there was a homeless party going on. About 5 tents set-up next to the practice fields and nearly 15 people carrying on. And there have been other times where I just generally feel unsafe.

The track here is not kept up very well (itll do just fine for some running, its just not very pretty) and the landscaping is lacking sorely. The location of this park makes that but about the poor landscaping efforts surprising to me when you consider it abuts the rear of some beautiful old homes on Officers Row.All the function of a soccer field and running track, all the beauty of a back alley at 0300...

They do a decent job here, super expensive! And I never did see behind closed doors so they might be beating them I dont know.

Love this park, you can go sit and have lunch after you see the fort. Its a nice clean Park and when they do the Veterans Day Parade its a great place to line up and see the parade.

Very trashy, lots of homeless traffic. Popular with dog owners many of whom do not pick up after their pets.
