Rarely ever anyone else here. Its quite peaceful. Writing this from the second branch of the big tree near the natural resource area.FYI: There are Mens and Womens restrooms with running water by the picnic/playground area.

Great park with bathrooms.

Its an ok place, but theres no walking path like fairgrounds park.

Good place to take your kids or to shoot some hoops. One of the few parks in Valparaiso with a basketball hoop. Only con is that the equipment is just in okay condition. Could use some work there

This is a nice and quiet park. The parks department keeps it well maintained. Just dont use the bathroom if you can help it. My daughter had to go, as 5 year olds tend to at the most inconvenient times, and all that was around was a real dirty port-a-potty.It was nice for a little picnic and some playing. Other parks in the area have more elaborate playgrounds, but this one tends to be quiet.

Trees and bushes need to be trimmed back from the stands! Nice ball field,easy access to fields! Clean Porta potties!!
