Interesting town. I stayed on campus at SunyIT for 6 months and enjoyed my time quiet a lot.

This place is amazing. The work that is going on to update the building is wonderful and the effort to bring more arts to the community is fantastic

Always a great time here. Great community, great teachers, great shows. So glad they reopened it.

Way too expensive! They are terrible to their actors. I don’t recommend.

Lots of great classes, the renovations are exciting. Cant wait to see whats next for them!

Great that its back!

Devin Mahoney and his wife, Briana, have completley transformed the Uptown Theatre, not only physically but atmospherically. Offering classes in improv, stand-up, and acting, the Uptown is soon to be a hub for creative people and creative thinking in central New York.

5 stars for effort - this venue is a work in progress, but they are already doing great theater!

But.... if you get there late.. its freeking dark and there is no usher... me and my gf were fumbling around trying to find a seat and the isle ended and we walked into the back of some chairs... we were laughing about it when behind us.. another couple came crashing into us.... than the screen go brighter and we were able to move on... still love the place, bring back that hunky usher with the flashlight from the 70s... i think his name was Dave.

It was not all that bad but if I had a choice Ill go to new York magic Johnson where ppl talk all the time and u cant enjoy the movie
