Needed Place to play basketball with the boys it was a nice and quiet place just needs some bathrooms by the basket ball hoops, a water fountain and to clean the bird poop of the court by besides that its great!

Nice little park with lots to do. Sports fields, skate park, disc golf courses x2, RC plane and car areas, and a central pond to watch the ducks and geese.

Lots to do here. Well maintained park, though there are a lot of waterfowl. Lots of space, kid and pet friendly. Decent amount of shade, though lacking in seating. Great city park overall.

Love going there always clean.Just wish they had more ports post! Or had them cleaned out mid day or daily.

We love the park. There is something for everyone, and it is spread out so everyones not right up up other people. There is a nice little catch and release pond. A skateboard park. Places to picnick or play basketball. Lots of options.

Really enjoy taking grandchildren here to play. But had to leave as people brought their dog over to picnic table and it tried to jump all over us. Owner said oh its friendly. I dont care especially when we were trying to eat and dog was trying to get our food. When other car drove up and they turned their dogs lose in the parking lot we left.

Very clean and nice place. The bike path is great. They have several baseball diamonds. The playground was clean. No trash laying around. Nice friendly place to take your family.

Very nice park and fishing pond. BUT they need to have regular toilets, especially for all the kids who visit there.

Melvin Miller City Park is one of three of my favorite places to visit or hang out at. Walk/bike path is nice and the hill that heads southeast is a challenge traveling on a bike. Weaves to right & takes you toward the Urbana H.S. young Mens baseball field & Ladies Softball diamond/field. There is a small creek and the path leads on up to Champaign YMCA and Community Drive. Good amount of space for the kids outdoor Soccer program. The frisbee golf course is a bit long, but I feel is challenging to both a seasoned and an average froth player. I have dented up three of my frisbees by hitting trees and I lost an Innova midrange. I believe it is near #11 maybe under some brush. .
