Main Quad

Not much to review here, but this place is so vibrant! There is always something going on, especially during the summer/fall. They have the summer quad cinema series (every Thursday at 9 pm). Its a fun place to chill, eat, work, enjoy the weather and basically take a break from hectic work/studying schedule. This definitely is my favorite place (during the summer when its not too busy) at UIUC.

Nice spot to come hang out or get a few pictures. Occasionally there is some maintenance or muddy/dry spots, so check out the area you intend on chilling at before you sit down

Its exactly how youd expect a colleges quad to look. When the weather is nice, there are always people playing frisbee, walking their dogs, and laying in hammocks.

Center of the UIUC campus pretty area, always a little busy, especially when classes just get out.

I do love green spaces. This has it. Bring a friend to throw some frisbee or a blanket to read a book. It gets crowded weekdays about 10 to 15 minutes before the hour.

Great place to relax, walk your dog, usually always something going. Plenty of nice study spaces if you like studying outside.

Theres not much to review here. Its super nice to hang and chill and relax on the grass when the sun is out. There is a lot of activity going on when its the warmer months. Theres a lot of space for frisbee or football. And theres good spots for hammocks.

Could be more quad-ily...ish. It’s cool though. 10/10 would walk around aimlessly at 3 am on the quad again.

Very clean, spacious, and calming. Many trees, perfect for hammocks, large group meetings and just taking a break.

Great place to walk, lay out in the sun, play Frisbee, eat a meal. Its the center of the university so its about 5 minutes from anything you need. There are still some large trees for shade.
