Red Horse Park

This is an ok little park with a couple small playgrounds and sandpit. Covered patio with a grill. Probably the coolest thing was the huge long tree that you could walk on like a balance beam or jump over. I could not figure out what the basketball court was converted for, it was not for basketball though, not tennis. maybe ground hockey there was a net on the ground maybe for that. . There is a janky old basketball hoop in the parking lot but you cant even use that if anyone is parked Im the lot. We went because google said there is a volleyball court, there is not. There is a nice memorial to fire, police and military. There is a decent little baseball diamond for kids.

We love coming here to play Frisbee golf. Adult to toddler ages- we come with family. Some adults and teens come to play the game, the younger kids and teens practice throwing and play along the way, and its good for just walking too. About half and half shaded and not shaded along the way. The hiking experience at the hill/rocks is fun as well. Fantastic experience every time we go.

Used to be a hidden gem. Now its too crowded with runners that dont socially distance or wear masks. Have had multiple cars honk. Flip you off and drive crazy when you are walking down since there is no sidewalk so it doesnt feel safe to even walk down a certain way, of course you can go a different direction but thats literally right down from my house versus all the way around by vehicle. Uc does a tremendous job cleaning up all the parks its always lean a kept up with.

I rode my little electric scooter around the park and it seemed very nice I was playing Pokemon go they have a lot of action there

Great park! Pretty small but its clean and not busy at all. Theres a paved path that loops around, trash cans, picnic tables and shade!

One basketball hoop that had a active wasp nest near the middle of the hoop. Ghetto park, wouldnt recommend.

Nice park with a well maintained concrete walk loop. Clean manicured landscape.

I love this place! Ive been coming here since I was 3. I love catching fireflies out here too...

Great incline decline walking trails peaceful and bright.

This is a nice little park for walking or playing with a small group. Its never very crowded. The see-saw needs attention, but there is a nicer slide structure in the back.

Very nice, calming and quiet. Great walking path, and for those who play, a great Pokemon Go with 2 guns and several poke stops.

The slide was super neato n fast..and just a lil scary, and it burnt my leg, it got better.

Small neighborhood park thats always clean in a quiet neighborhood.

This is a small park that is adjacent to the bigger Universal City park. It has a great walking trail with some slopes - great for riding bikes. The playground is small and a little outdated (the main reason for 4 stars). The have a covered pavilion with lots of seating, and a large BBQ pit available for use. The mesquite trees in the middle of the park give I a great look.

Besides the serious fly problem and the VERY hot ladies bathroom, the park was ok.

Quiet quaint park however, beware of the mosquitos during the summer.

Its clean. Close to home. Has walking paths, tennis courts, covered picnic areas, two play grounds, restrooms etc. My grand kids love going there.

Red Horse Park should be named Dead Horse Park. Not much to look at except for the drainage ditch that runs through the middle.

Every year we held an Easter egg hunt for the kids at this small, hilly park. It has a large covered pavillion and small playground and nice big trees.

Love this place. Plenty of shade, a walking trail and playground. It is also pretty.
