Beautiful place and just takes you back in time. We have toured this home in the past. The furnishings for the most part are original to the home. Your mind just wanders back to a time when life was truly hard. Visited Nov. 2020The BakersRock Hill SC

The Union County,SC Historical Society met at the Cross Keys House on Sunday December 2, 2018. The House was beautifully decorated in the period decorations of the early 1800s. It is a look back into the history of that day. If you like historical sites, this is a must see. For a tour, contact the Union County Museum.

Awesome experience

The local historic society holds events here from time to time. This is a beautiful home with lots of history.

Had a great visit here. We went for living history day to see the reenactment of President Jefferson Davis stop here in 1865 that was followed by a skirmish. Very educational, beautiful setting, and fun for the whole family. Hope to visit again soon to tour the inside of the home.

Could not have found a better place to spend the afternoon. The reenactantment was wonderful.

I love visiting this house. It is such an amazing place of history. While slavery was a dark time in our nations history, being able to visit a place that is preserved and from that era is humbling. I am glad that future generations will be able to learn about our past, and hopefully make a better future because of it. This is a great place to bring a bagged lunch, and just sit around and enjoy the quietness and serenity that this place provides.
