Your rating on this park will depend on your expectations and preferences. We had just spent several weeks hopping around state parks and Corps of Engineer parks thru Arkansas and east TX. These places are remote, wooded, dark and quiet. This Tyler park is IN the town of Tyler and is located not far off of a very busy hiway. The park is lighted with street lights and bulbs on each sites power pedestal. Trees are mostly shorter than your RVs height. There seemed to be just one trash dumpster area in the center of the park, making for a longish walk or drive to take out trash. The outside of the office building looks like it could collapse in a strong breeze, but is much better inside. The laundry facility had several sets of newer Maytag washers and dryers that worked great. Parking pads were paved and level with options for pull-thru and back-in locations. They also sell propane on site. I set my tank on the pad behind the RV and a guy came to get it, filled it, and brought it back to tbe spot he found it in. Nice! So, it isnt bad if you know you will be in town on a busy road with well lit grounds. But dont expect remote peace and quiet.

We absolutely loved our stay here, we came here for our wedding anniversary get away, everyone was very friendly, the Manager was very nice, the bathrooms were excellent which sold me from the beginning! I love that you have a pool, 2 ponds to go fishing in, a very quiet place to stay! What we loved the most is even though it is a pet friendly environment we didnt hear dogs barking all day long or in the evening! Thank you for helping make our Anniversary that much special!

We had a great time at this park. Bath houses were clean; concrete slab to park RV on (which was GREAT since Tyler had very heavy rains last night there)! Full hook ups available, pool, catch & release fishing pond... staff very friendly from first phone contact to day of departure! Only sad thing was no large trees yet to block very hot sun... but they will grow in time! Would definitely stay again!!

VERY nice place to park your RV and spend some time in Tyler. The shower facilities were awesome, and the pool was very clean to use.The folks that you will meet upon arrival, truly are glad you chose their park to visit. Ive been to some RV parks where I turned around and left upon my greeting....I absolutely recommend Tyler Oaks RV park if youre in need of a place to either overnight, so spend some time in and around Tyler, TX.

Loved Tyler Oaks RV Resort. They have lots of RV spots and several of them are pull through. The park is very quiet. Staff is very friendly and always ready to help to make your stay the best possible. We were there to for the weekend to visit our son and his family. We arrived on Friday and checked out on Sunday. We like to attend church with family and then head home. This has been an issue in the past at other parks as we were expected to be out of our space by noon. Most churches do not let out that early. We have a little dog that requires air conditioning. Tyler Oaks were very accommodating and let us check out later. We went to church with our children, had a quick lunch out and hit the road. This RV park is close to many good eating places, grocery stores, and there was even an RV parts store across the street. In the park is a large family pavilion with full kitchen, fire place, playground and many family games, like horse shoes, freebie golf and a swimming pool. Lot more amenities, too many to list. We give this RV park 2 thumbs up!!

TORVR is a great place to stay for a few days or a few months. We have stayed here since August of 2019 and now we are taking off at the end of April 2020. It is clean, very well laid out and the family that owns and works it are the most delightful people you ever what to deal with. Great folks! The park isnt what you would call elite status and thats ok, just know if you want pampering, you will not get that here. The lots are a good size. You have enough room to move around and enjoy your space. Mail is easy and its just a overall nice feel to it.We would without a doubt come and stay here again. Great Park!

We stayed here on our way to El Paso, Tx; moving our daughter there and attending her wedding. Tyler Oaks RV Resort is an excellent park to choose to stay at if you are planning just one night or several nights. Plenty of amenities offered and reservations are easy to make; even if you will be arriving late. Family ran park that treats you like you are part of their family. As promised, our site was a spacious pull through (truck and 5th wheel both fit attached) with 50 amp full hook-up service. I would highly recommend this park if you are traveling on I-20 and need to stay. Thank you to the staff for making our stay easy and showing your kindness and generosity.

The Best RV Park I have stayed in, in a long time. Great place try it. The owner is around if you need him. This place is quite, they have a swimming pool and sona. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. If you passing by or visiting Tyler TX stop in and stay awhile. They will leave the lights on for you.

I visited on March 18th, 2017 after being on the road in my travel trailer for two months. It was easy to find, easy to park (the most level pad in America...) and convenient to where I needed to go by bicycle. Three minute ride to dinner (had Tex-Mex and loved it!) and Camping World is crazy close. Owner and Son greeted me and made sure all my questions were answered. Also pointed out the mini-lakes and the unique RC boat Regatta that full-timers have turned into a real attraction - this part is worth a stay all by itself - what fun! WiFi was pretty solid - the resort is new and features state of the art hardware. Bathrooms were very clean. Only hiccup was an elevated sewer connection, which makes massaging your sewer hose necessary and would likely be a real hassle for anyone with a lower fitting than mine. Didnt detract enough from an otherwise wonderful experience to merit less stars. My only regret is that I didnt get drone shots to show everyone what Google Maps doesnt. If I return to the Great State via RV, I will definitely make this park my first stop - why would I struggle to find another resort this good?

We found the location easily on Google map until the last turn directed us the opposite side of the road from the resort. When all the lovely oak trees grow larger and with some tweaking, Tyler Oaks RV will be the premiere spot for both long and short stay visitors of Tyler, TX.When arriving to our site the previous guest had left bags of trash on the picnic table. Staff checking site before assigning would assure it’s clean for next guest. The pads are very narrow, making it difficult to park and allow room to step from RV stairs to the pad. We were assigned to an area with many open sites around but during our stay RVs where parked directly to both sides of us. There were so many other empty sites throughout, would have been nice to not have been so bunched together.

While the park is clean and offers many amenities, we were disheartened to learn that our handicapped son was not permitted in either the pool or sauna because of his incontinence. We feel he was discriminated against. Children not potty trained are not permitted either. There are supplies for incontinent persons specifically for swimming. Well not be returning. This was our first and LAST visit.

Charging a little too much money for what theyre giving. Very unprofessional & unorganized people trying to run this place. Upon my first visit to the office these folks couldnt even open a cabinet without everything falling out. Such a mess! Ponds are swampy puddles & their recreational areas are a joke like the putting green & disc golf are not maintained & far overrated for this park.
