This past weekend I shared in the fun at the Deep in the Heart of Texas tournament at @pumpjaxe in Tyler, Texas. The owners and staff were awesome and ran a great tournament. The venue is spacious and plenty of soft cottonwood targets to throw on. Restrooms were large and very clean. Finished top 16 in the tournament and had a great time. Definitely a venue to stop at if you are in the area!

It was fun. You throw axes at a wall. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes. Although they do have shoes you can rent.

I went with my 10 year old niece, my mom, and some co-workers and all of us had a wonderful time! Josh was great at giving us beginners some instruction then letting us throw. 5/5 will definitely go back!

When you absolutely positively need to have fun! Great environment with great coaches and staff. BYOB and TouchTunes app means my fave drank and tunes while throwing axes.. Winner winner chicken dinner. My new home away from home!

It was fun & not as difficult as I had imagined...Ill be back!

I was sceptical going here for a birthday party. I was just going to go hang out but as soon as I got there I realized it looked like a blast! So I signed up and paid and had a fantastic time! We went on a Saturday night late at night and the people working it were just as happy to help to give pointers and energy to the games. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend it!

Y’all, I am unathletic and so are my girl friends but we had the BEST TIME doing this. Old man Mike was great at teaching us how to throw and I just highly recommend this place. Def going back!

Had a great time last night at their first ever league night! Everyone was very friendly, made me feel welcome and part of the group. I thought the place was very clean and the man running the event Josh was very clear with his instructions and explaining the rules.. and as it turns out, is one hell of an axe thrower!! I really look forward to next weeks league night, and I highly recommend this place!

Great date night idea or family fun night! My wife have been several times and we loved it so much we joined their weekly league night. Great staff and owners are very helpful in assisting you to enjoy your axe throwing experience.

Yes! This is worth your time. Ive heard of places like this, never been before.It is absolutely worth doing at least once. Where else can you do something like this in a somewhat controlled setting?Me, wife, 14 & 17 year old kids in our group. Everybody had a great time. They also do larger groups and company events. The place is pretty big, with plenty of space.We went os Sunday afternoo, no other people there, just the father & son owners. Were told the safety rules, how to throw the axes, ideas for games to play. They checked on us often, we felt like they were keeping an eye on us, without hovering or taking any fun out of the experience.They let you bring beer/wine, obviously youre expected to not get drunk and wild while throwing axes. Owners said they keep an eye on the groups and will act quickly before things get crazy.It was fun, owners were nice and have a good handle on what they are doing.Go do this! Go with family or friends or work peeps.

This was the most fun I have in a while and I can honestly say everyone that works there is awesome. The owner is to coolest guy ever and this is good fun for everyone. Definitely going again

Our family of 4 had an absolute blast throwing axes at PumpJaxe! The pricing is reasonable, the atmosphere is super fun, and the coaches are the bomb! Our coach was beyond helpful and welcoming, and we enjoyed his guidance and company. It’s a cool place and we can’t wait to go back with our crew! See you there!

Good night out with friends definitely something different and I have never done before would go again. We had eight in our groups and they were very helpful.

So. Much. Fun. Everyone is so helpful and incredibly nice! They’ll give you tips along the way and there are so many different games you can play with the axe throwing. Very affordable and great group rates. They even have a membership (which is a great deal). My fiancé and I had the best time with our friends and cannot wait to go back!

I surprised my husband with a trip to PUMPJAXE for our 6th wedding anniversary and we LOVED it! The only thing I would have done differently is booked longer than an hour! Great atmosphere and great staff.
