This place is more worried about the 3 bar tenders getting tips than actually serving customers and putting adequate help behind the bar. 1 central bar for about 2k square feet and if you are good with waiting 25 minutes per drink, this is the place for you. SLOW, cool college atmosphere, poorly managed.

The houndstooth is a great little bar! Great drinks, great service, and great atmosphere! One of my favorites here in Tuscaloosa. Our party had a great time.

Nice outdoor seating with the worst TVs I’ve seen. Have to be 10+ years old and super poor picture quality. If you’re looking for a place to actually watch the game, go inside or find a different bar.

Bama/LSU game was a great atmosphere. You will never go wrong with The Houndstooth but I felt a little had as a alumni of UA when they told me it was $20 to get in a place that students built.

If youre in Tuscaloosa and you want to find a place to unwind and play some pool or darts, Houndstooth is the place youre looking for. There is a good beer selection and ice cold beer on tap. Monday night you can find free pool, Tuesday night is pint night, Wednesday night you can compete in the best trivia in town, Thursday night is BINGO night, and Friday and Saturday are filled with great times with great people. There are three pool tables, 2 traditional dart boards, and 2 electronic dart boards. You have to be 21 to enter, and the bar is closed on Sundays.

Went there on a tuesday and it was still decently busy at midnight. Good drink deals (i got a blue moon, which was draft-not bottled). And randomly served mini cupcakes that night! The bartender was friendly without being creepy

A bar that gives the college feel and is as consistent as rain. Little too much smoking for me. But it is what it is. Always great service and local drafts.

Love the bartenders (olivia is the best!) Lots of TVs, its never too crowded except for game day. My only complaint is the smoking, but the bar is so big, you can pretty much avoid it. I always have a good time here.

A journey to the game is incomplete if you dont at least stop by. Hard to get drinks and a place to be. However, if you can get a seat, keep it and send a runner for drinks and people watch.

With three pool tables, two dart boards, and outdoor seating this place has a everything. Its a lively bar with good tvs. Surprisingly, this busy college sports bar has one of the most comfortable ledges, which are hard to find anywhere I travel. Nice job Houndstooth.

A staple in the Tuscaloosa bar scene. Right next to campus, and tons of TVs. The place is open and airy, so you dont have to worry about smelling like smoke when you leave.

Great Bar! Everytime I visit I go here. The Crawfish boil is delicious and unlimited when they have it. You are allowed to smoke while you enjoy your cocktail. For non smokers you can enjoy the patio if it isnt too capacity, this place is very popular! Great Place
