The energy was not only very welcoming but, the vibe was very energetic and vibrant.I was only in town for a short time and visited Roxys on a Thursday and then again on a Friday.Thursday was relaxed and chilled while Friday is the start of the partying for the weekend. It was full but not overwhelmingly crowded, you could still easily maneuver your way to the bar and the restrooms in the back and the staff was highly attentive.Let me not forget to mention the amazing downtown location just minutes away from the beautiful UA Campus. The owners are doing this very well and I hear they plan to expand and I am all here for it.
Attended Jazz Night on Sunday and I must say the venue and the music was top-notch! If you’re looking for a nice atmosphere and older mature crowd... this is it!! The band was wonderful and to top it off the buffet was excellent!
Visiting from the mid Atlantic states during Bamas Homecoming wknd - we had a blast. The atmosphere, the bottle servers, the DJ, and bartender were all on point- live and positive vibes throughout the night and into the morning.I will definitely party at Roxys on my next trip to town, which is the Bama vs LSU game.
My favorite hangout spot!!
Love this place!!!! Maybe a little crowded at times but well worth it!! I had a lot of fun every time I went!!!
I know this is a nightclub. But it’s a little out of control. There’s always fights and issues with people. And that’s why there is a cut off limit. But when the bartenders have so many people they can barely tell what’s what. Music is great if you like R&B/rap. Not really a place to just chill because there’s so little room there’s no seats except “vip”. And they let wayyyyyy too many people in at one time. And with a bunch of drunk boys and girls in a crowded space you’re more likely to have fights.
Great drinks and great atmosphere
