Good apartment complex. No nosy or noisy neighbors. Clean and well kept.

Great place to play, friendly staff, nice fun course. The dam for the lake burst this spring which is inhibiting their ability to water. They are watering the greens by hand, and applying something to the fairways to hold the moisture. They had to have some temp greens, but all are now open, most are in very good condition and putting is good. Sand traps are not up to par but they are spending most of their time maintaining the grass because of the watering issue

2 stars because the pro shop staff has always been friendly, helpful, and nice in person and over the phone. Otherwise, the greens are always completely destroyed and sandy. Multiple holes have been closed every time I’ve gone in the last few years, or the greens are moved to the fairway. It is impossible to have a good day of putting on this course. Will not be returning until the greens have improved.

Although the course was ~$45 with a cart, I wouldnt even play it for $20. The greens were atrocious. Putting on these greens is like putting on the moon. There are divots everywhere, and loads of dead grass. Im a fairly good putter, but I didnt even come close to hitting a putt over 4ft all day. We were extremely disappointed by the condition of the course, even though the tee boxes and fairways were well maintained. If they offer me a $20 round of golf, Ill have to really consider it before declining.

It’s a horrible place and has terrible service. The golf course needs to much work on the bunkers and the greens need work too

Its decent. Greens were not to good last week. Lotta rain tho. Course will be very nice if they keep consistent on improvements. Great value for the money.

I very much like the property and was very excited to move in but as far as service it could be greatly improved. I understand their policies and have no problem with them but it would have been nice to be informed of everything in the application process before I gave my deposit over and paid all application fees. In my experience especially today, I have been lied to about simply getting a copy of the applications submitted. I called Dustin so that he could have them ready for me to pick up before 9 pm. When my boyfriend arrived to pick up the copies he was informed that the manager took the applications home??? Then when I called back to see why he just didnt tell me that when I called earlier, he was all of a sudden not available. Hmmm.... Well, I told them Im not into playing games and this made no sense. I knew they were lying because my boyfriend was still outside when I was told that Dustin wasnt available and knew he was still in the office. I am glad I am not going any further with the process of moving in to the Links. It is an eye opening experience. This showed me its no telling what else would happen once I signed that lease. Thank God!!! I will be moving on to something better, its in Gods hands and I pray that if you are wanting to move here you have a much better experience.

Great rates, nice course, Sunday at noon played 18 in less than 3 hours.

Good place to play golf

Two great workers named Nick and Garret were very polite and helped me in many ways and was always nice about it. There was one worker named Hudson who was rude and disrespectful. He was always on his phone which backed up the course and ruined my golf day. Overall good service and nice course other than that one worker. Too bad Jackson Barton isnt there anymore, he was the best thing that happened to that place.

Lots of low-income families live here which attract a lot of suspicious characters. Multiple times I have been woken up to the sound of shouting and screaming outside of my apartment.Security is a joke, to get past the security gate you just have to say I forgot my ID and they let you right in. I have never seen them turn a car away at the gate.Staff is often rude and incompetent, not to mention it is very expensive. for a one bedroom I pay 675 and then shell out 50 more for wifi every month. I also have to pay my own electricty and water bills, so I pay around 815 a month to deal with shady characters. a long drive to school, no cable, and faulty appliances.DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE ATTENDING THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA!! I leave 30 minutes before my classes start and I get to class with only 5 minutes to spare.THIS PLACE HAS EARNED A ONE STAR RATING. DO NOT LIVE HERE

IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS I WOULD. IT WAS THE BIGGEST AND WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE TO LIVE THERE! IF YOU WANT THEM TO FIND FEES AND WAYS TO CHARGE YOU MONEY THEN I WOULD SUGGEST NOT LIVING THERE!

I wish I could give them zero stars. I have made five maintenance requests for spraying the apartment but nobody bothers to come. They are rude if you want to use pool or other facilities in the club. Their leasing office lied to me to put me in a situation where I had to renew the lease.

I thought the apartment complex was great when we first moved in, but it quickly went downhill. The first problem was that we were put into a pet building even though we didnt have any pets, so we had to constantly dodge pet landmines since nobody there believes in a pooper-scooper. They had problems filling all the units, so less-desirable individuals were allowed to move into the community which created many problems. People doing doughnuts in the parking lot and racing through the place at high speed created a truly dangerous parking lot. Speaking of parking lots, be prepared to almost fight for parking in front of your building. There were many times I had to park 100 yards away from my building due to a lack of parking.The security gates that you pay to live within NEVER CLOSE, so anyone can come and go as they please whether they live there or not. I know of at least 4 different shootings while I lived there (two were in the building next to ours), several cars and apartments were burglarized, and one persons car was even the victim of arson. I witnessed several narcotic transactions in the parking lots. The last straw was when someone tried to get into my apartment late one night while I was watching TV. I am not much of a complainer, but I had to call the police on 7 different occasions while I lived there. For a community that does background checks on all residents, that is 7 too many calls that I had to make. The sewer runs into the pond, so do not eat the fish IF you can catch one. The fishing is nonexistent after the dam on the pond broke in Spring 2013.If you do live there, make sure you turn off the utilities the day you finish moving out, or else the workers will leave the lights on and the water running so your bill gets run up. Pray that you never need after-hours or emergency maintenance. Our toilet was constantly running one day and the knob to turn off the water broke. Even though we submitted a maintenance request at 3 pm the day it happened, it was not fixed until late the next afternoon which ran up a big water bill.You can buy a house with a USDA mortgage for HALF the price of rent at The Links (which is what we did!) and build equity instead of throwing away money with rent and the overpriced Lindsey Communications cable (they resale Dish programming) and sluggish internet if they decide to stick you in one of the many apartments where you cannot get Dish Network or DirectTV. If you want to live in fear of being run over or burglarized, or you like to be surrounded by thugs hanging out in the parking lot at 2 AM with loud thumping music, then this is the place for you. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful community, dont be fooled by the pond like I was---run away!

This complex is so bad. The office will open your apartment at any time you are out and steal your stuff!!! They treat anybody there like you owe them! No respect

I dont live there, but i live in front of it and almost every night I hear the sirens of an ambulance. I would not recommend this place to families with small children.
