Course is very challenging and under construction in places. Ill be back next summer to play again. Met one of the owners on the course. He actually went and found my 8 iron that was left on the 12th hole and returned it to me on the 18th green!! Thanks again for that!!
Absolutely wonderful, the facility is nice and the staff is just amazing. The course & driving range gives you the feeling of a private club but a public course environment.
Played here in march 2019 course was not in very good shape. Played again sept 13 n 14 2019. Amazing difference greens were good fairways were awesome. The staff and members are the best treated us like family. Would highly recommend this course if your in the area.
The fairways are maintained very well.
The course is in a little tough condition. Drainage problems, greens are shaggy. But, it’s still got good bones and it’s a great neighborhood course.
I work there I pick up the golf balls on the range and clean them and I clean the bathrooms. I really like the members there and the staff because they treat me like Im part of the family there plus the courses are great because the Ground crew keeps working all day and every weekend and they even blow off the stuff on the greens and tee boxes.
Just left tall pines golf course. The price you pay for what is there is outrageous. 41 dollars for 18 and the greens are in the poorest condition Ive ever seen at any golf course i have played. It could be a nice course if they put alittle effort into it. The layout of the course is nice but in such poor condition its not funny. I live in Indiana and have play several times already this year and the greens in northern Indiana are in much better shape. Over all i wouldnt waste my money at tall pine again.
Not a bad course fair price greens are a little too thick and slow for my liking fairways wide open somewhat challenging with water and bunkers on a lot of the holes and the only bad thing is the layout of the front 9 there are way too many houses right next to the course that you have to worry about hitting on a bad shot. Definitely am going back to play at though.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the course was about as bad as Ive played in 5 or 6 years. Every green had sod patches that were under construction and had big white outlines around them. Too often they took up much of the green. The fairways were in decent shape but it was too easy to lose a ball hit right down the middle as they were cut pretty high for a fairway . We packed it in after 6 holes and the staff was nice enough to only charge us for 9 holes. I would not recommend this course to anyone who values their time and money. ..
Great place to play golf very reasonable super nice people highly recommended
Overprice for the quality of course. $28 for 9 holes late in the afternoon is way too much. The greens and tee boxes were uneven and poorly maintained. The course needs serval trees trimmed back to allow better shots off the tee.
One of the owners was st the pool after me and mI dad golfed today. So friendly. Everything we needed, there was someone right there! Thanks :)
Fantastic course. It is difficult enough to keep things interesting, but the fairways are nice and wide. Almost welcoming. Good mix of hole lengths. Highly recommended!
Great golf course with great staff and great tight fairways
Would not recommend. Student cost is $25 but not at all worth it. Tee boxes were uneven and half dead. Fairways and rough looked the same from the tee. Rough was mostly weeds and not kept up. Green were furry and had tons of sand on them. Inconsistent putts impossible to read. Save your money and go to olcolony for an extra $15
Course has a great lay out. Beautiful area.
Great service and atmosphere.
Nice setting... Good layout... Green are dead and sandy... Needs alot of work to before a great course... Price to high for condition of course... Super friendly staff... Needs lots of course maintenance.
The pool is in bad disrepair. Not a family friendly environment.
Good place to play a round at a good price nothing fancy. But, if you are looking for a quality place to drive, chip, and putt without a high price tag.
Worst course in Tuscaloosa. Greens are nothing but sand and I’ve played fairways that are faster. Tee boxes are half dead. Can’t tell apart the fairways and rough from most tee boxes. Range was also closed. $24 for students is the only good thing but I’d pay the extra $15 for Ol’ Colony all day, every day.
Needs some water, greens are ok, fairways are hurting.
Excellent Golf Course and a Great bunch of people.Needs work, but its still the Best Layout in Tuscaloosa
Overpriced for how terrible the course conditions are! Fairways are basically dirt, and they roll better than the greens which is more sand than green. I should have turned around when I saw the 18th green and it was completely gray! Members were driving their golf carts on the greens because why not apparently. Havent seen a course in worse shape, that didnt have discounted rates. Nobody there at 8am on a nice Saturday morning should have been a clue to leave as well. If you are not a student its not worth the money.
Good course, little overpriced for the shape. greens were inconsistent. Some holes may challenge you, others may not as much. Will recommend, but the greens took half the round to adjust to.
Course greens or in horrible condition cant believe they charge full price to play their.
The staff was great and the facility was nice. Its a nice public place to golf.
Good course. Greens need a lot of attention though.
Im Glad to see this course getting new life. They are doing a great job bringing it back to its once great splendor.
Course and staff are great. Sandy greens ruined the experience that it should have been. Otherwise good course
Great course, very friendly staff.
Almost only bad experiences. Within a couple weeks the driving range was closed four times I went there, for no reason, staff was grumpy and didnt even know why it was closed most times. Once, the pro shop was out of range balls so I could grab a basket and collect balls myself. Greens are more than terrible. If I wouldnt live so close to it, I would have not gone there just a second time.
Nice course with good potential, greens were awful
Greens are in terrible condition. Prices are ridiculously high for a course in this kind of shape!! Went on a weekend and paid $100 for 2 people to play 18 holes on a less than subpar golf course.
Its a pretty good golf course.
Great atmosphere!
They told us they do not rent carts after 4 PM. When we showed up at 3:45PM to get a cart they said it was too late. When we said it’s not 4 yet they said “No it’s basically 4”
They are trying real hard....
Great public course that is fastly improving.
Golf, Pool, week-end grill, social events and in the neighborhood! Pay and play...Golf and Social memberships. Local owners!
