Great place to spend a day with the family. This park has two playgrounds, a lake with fishing and waterfowl, a skatepark, cross country track, walking trail, disc golf course, numerous soccer and baseball fields, and a concession stand. There is literally something for everyone. The only detractors for me is the road noise and lack of a splash pad. Definitely a great park to visit.

Everytime I Go With Family We Have A Blast!!! They Got Pavilion Table Areas Where You Can Eat Food, We Had Watermelon. My Kids Loved Feeding The Ducks Bread, It Was Soo Hot The Day Me & My Family Went But They Got A Snow-cone Food Stand It Was Long Lines But It Helped Cool You Down. It Got, Walking Tracks, & Volley Ball Nets, We Had A Blast Playing That Sport So I Recommend Fun For The Whole Family!!

If people were more responsible and respectful to their surroundings the park would be a five star area. Trash, litter, on the grounds and in the water is degrading. Ample parking and walking areas.

This is the perfect place for kids, or families. The walking trails are well kept and lit. It offers playgrounds for kids along with a fishing pond. It also has a skate park for teens.

One of the jewels of Tupelo. We go here for walks, frisbee, soccer and volleyball regularly. The baseball/softball fields look amazing too. Probably should be utilized more for athletic tourism.

The grounds are now terrible and the restrooms atrocious. The grass isnt cut well, half the flowers and shrubs are dead, the tables are in poor condition, the walkways are crumbling/have sink holes, trash cans bent over, and the gazeebo looks pitiful. The restrooms are nasty and rarely look as if they have been cleaned at all. It used to be a nice park.

Fairly maintained park, good walking path, accessible disc golf course, good playground equipment. Overall, fun to be had.

Beautiful park with so much to do. I love going here to exercise or just relax and feel at peace. Its absolutely amazing when the ducks have had their babies and are only a few feet away from you. You get experiences from this place unlike any other. Beautiful gazebo. Great playground for kids. Plenty of land to walk around and play on.

We really enjoyed our day at Ballard Park. The ducks are beautiful and not scared of people and the grounds are clean. I just really wish they a larger play area with more equipment to choose from. Compared to parks in other cities it would never measure up. not that I am unappreciative of the park, but I just wish our area had more places to take our children. It is so sad that we have nothing remotely close to take our kids that they enjoy. Thats why so many get into trouble, what else can they do around here you know

Overall not that bad of fields. It has been raining quite a bit so there was some drainage issues but we’ve been getting a lot of rain lately. We’ve been there several times and it’s not a bad place.

Very quiet and peaceful especially on a Sunday morning. Ducks, geese, small lake with feeders available for 25 cents. Exercise and walking paths are very nice.

Ballard Park is a wonderful place to take your kids for the day. they have a huge playground thats covered so you dont have to worry about them getting hot or sunburned. And the soccer in baseball fields are really nice as well.

Great place for a date. Walk around the park see the ducks and turtles. Or let the kids play and have a picnic. Alot of venues may at the band shelter so its worth driping by from time to time to see what going on.

Ive been coming to this park since I first started playing soccer at a young age. Still a great soccer complex, but now it also offers a skate park, multiple play grounds, a youth baseball complex, disc golf, and they host city wide events. It has a stage to accommodate speakers, bands, and other city events. The Oren Dunn museum has been there for as long as I can remember and it is a great place too.

I love this park!! It has a little of everything such as a playground, a skate park, picnic tables, walking trails, soccer and baseball fields, a large pond with ducks and geese, and benches around the water to sit relax and enjoy the views. Theres also a museum located here along with a guest service center. This local Tupelo community park also provides a fabulous Christmas display among many other community events throughout the year!!

Wonderful clean park. I do wish the duck feeding machine would have been filled so that my children could have fed the ducks. I also wish there was more of them. Overall though it was a great experience and we will go back.

I love this place! It is relaxing & a great place to walk & run. There are ducks here, so watch your step, when close to the lake. You do not want to step in duck poop.

Great place for a car load or folks to gather for a big event, lots of parking for 3 Countys of folks. But be patient when its time to leave. Traffic jam time.

Very nice park to take kids to.

I got lucky and got a day off during the week. I took my 5 month old son in the morning. I played a round of disc golf and pushed him in the stroller while he napped. Then I chatted with some nice folks who were grilling at one of the pavilions while I fed him his lunch. It was a very nice day.

Really well kept, nice park

Always fun for the entire family. We bring our dog(must be on a leash) and walk around the path and he tries to chase the ducks. My son loves the play on the swings and slides around the park.
