We visited on Sunday 6/9/2020. What a great experience. Pictures dont do it justice. Museum is wonderful, gift shop is not as big as Gracelands gift shop in Memphis, but still pretty nice. 9$ to see the house, 9$ to see the museum. 15$ to see both. Church was not open at that time. Definitely recommend to visit.

I had checked the web page and altered my morning trip accordingly. It stated 11am-4pm were the new COVID hours. And that was on the morning of us heading out. So we arrive to find it has a sign on the door stating it is temporarily closed due to employees getting COVID. seems like somebody would have updated the website. Because I was traveling frome Florida to Oklahoma and that put me hours behind if it wasnt opened we could have stopped by earlier to see the outside statues and be on our way. Especially when there was a lady sitting right inside the building . In view of everyone. Lights off but she was there . Yes it is worth seeing all the memories but it is about a 15 minute stop if everything is closed and you cant tour the museum. The grounds are beautiful. I wanted to show my kids a part of music history. They saw a bit.

We got there at 3:30 pm and it closes at 4 pm, but when we went to purchase tickets, we were told everything is locked and all the employees were ready to go home. We walked in the gift shop and we were told they already closed out the drawer and if we wanted to purchase something, we would have to pay cash. We were escorted out of the building and told we could walk the grounds for free. So I give 1 star rating for how the employees treated us and I give 5 stars for walking the grounds and reading all the history. This museum is very well documented and well kept. We enjoyed walking around. Not sure what $15 covers but I can read and walk.

It was beautiful. We didnt get to see the inside of the museum or church or anything else (tight schedule from Oklahoma to Georgia). We just needed to stretch our legs. And it was well worth it!! If youre traveling and need to stretch your legs or the whole family, stop here, its beautiful and only takes 30 mins to look around. We loved it!

If youre a fan of Elvis Presley, then this is a great place to visit. This is actually a city park and you can visit at no charge. The only admission you have to pay is to enter the museum or go inside Elvis home. Its $9 for the museum and $9 to go inside Elvis home. If you want to do both its $15.They have a gift shop and Elvis boyhood church which is temporarily closed. There is a chapel on the grounds, so if you want to get married, you can have the wedding on the grounds. There is also a reception room as well. And of course, there is a gift shop.

Nice little park and museum area. There are walking trails that lead back to a statue of Elvis. The parking area is very close to the museum and home, so if you dont want to walk far you dont have to. This was a good stop to get out and stretch our legs and take in some Elvis memorabilia on our trip through town.

Absolutely loved this place !! Standing up on the hill beside this statue was amazing, so glad we stopped here. We didn’t even go through the house either, we just wandered the grounds reading the history, took about 30min but definitely could have spent more time just admiring the view, I can definitely see why this was a favourite place of Elvis in his later life.

Even a true Elvis fan would find it hard to love this site. The museum itself has few original pieces (most are at Graceland) and doesnt allow pictures. The house itself is nicely restored with authentic period pieces. You do get a good feel for how poor the family was. The docent was excellent and provided information and stories. The grounds are beautifully landscaped.

I enjoyed this experience more than Graceland if were being honest. It’s much cheaper ( and smaller for that matter). But you have a lot to do in a short area ( statues, a church, a small museum, a reflection pond, a gift shop, a little trail, etc.). If you’re near here you should stop by. My only complaint may be having some of the older volunteers/ workers know places to hit nearby and giving more stories in the house

Nice little museum and park reminiscing of the king’s early years before the fame and riches. Amazing contrast between here and Graceland. I particularly enjoyed the childhood stories told by his old friends and family, posted on signs all around. How rough it was there, how it was for everybody there and then really, and how Elvis found himself with a guitar playing songs. Get an appreciation for how the gospel music at the local churches influenced him as well. Well worth a stop.
