Great store with a great selection but TERRIBLE hours. I live in Stillwater so it’s hard to get up here especially with such sporadic hours... opened 3 hours a day 4 times a week so a very small window. They claim to be open from 3-6 on Friday but here I am sitting in their parking lot at 4 with their doors locked and no phone number to contact them with.

So definitely one of the best coral places in Tulsa. They have amazing prices and they are easy to deal with. Love the shop and will definitely recommend!!

So many beautiful corals and fish for a saltwater tank. My boyfriend has spent a lot of time (and money) there lately. But I’m very happy with his purchases! Our tank is looking better and better! He just purchased a rose anemone and it’s beautiful! Our clown fish is lovin’ it!

Great selection, knowledgeable staff, no way to get a hold of them by phone. Customer service is lacking in this regard. Will not become my go-to reef store in the Tulsa area because they are too difficult to contact.

I think my husband and I just found our go to coral/fish stop! We had such a great experience here. The customer service from Mia and her husband Seth was amazing. We are very new to the hobby, and they answered all our questions, and helped guide us through the process of buying our first fish. We will definitely be back!

We travel to Tulsa several times a year. This place out performs most if not all of the fish stores ive seen. Huge selection of corals. Nice staff, everytime we go to Tulsa we have to stop by and see these guys. Amazing!

Was very happy to see the shop still in Tulsa, I had been out of the hobby for awhile so it was nice to see the great customer service and selection they always offer. I am unsure why people post these negative reviews I have never had a bad experience here, they are always friendly and very helpful with tons of knowledge and advice. For anyone looking for a great lfs this is your place, they dont hover over you while you look around but they dont disappear either and if you ever been to a big box pet store and had to chase a employee down just to end up getting your own fish out cause they think shrimp are gross you know how nice this is. I really like supporting local small businesses and this shop and employees always go above and beyond, will help carry and load supplies for you and even loaned me water jugs when mine cracked on trip over. Do yourself a favor and go in and check it out.My only disappointment was that the owners giant puffer was no longer in the back

They have very fair prices and most of their high end stuff will be the same price as online sites. They are very knowledge and wont let you waste your money (or time) on something you dont need. Im glad we have a great store in Tulsa.

I have been keeping saltwater aquariums since the mid 80s. I have had all sorts of tanks. I recently found this awesome shop and have nothing but great things to say! I am always greeted upon entering the store by name. The staff always remember what I like and are quick to point out what I might enjoy. The coral selection is always super colorful and healthy. Everything I have bought from them has done very well in my 250 gallon mixed reef tank. They have great prices on almost everything in the store. I am very happy and will go nowhere else. Shop is always super clean. Seth is extremely knowledgeable about everything related to salt water aquariums. There is always a large selection of clean, healthy creatures and corals for your tank. You will not try to be overwhelmed or pressured to buy something you dont need. They also do maintenance as well. Wherever you live this shop is worth the drive.

These guys know their stuff and are more than happy to answer any questions and make you feel like youre talking to friends.Their prices are great and of good quality. I bought a T5 4 bulb light fixture for less than $200. Their coral prices are amazing. Not to mention the quality. I just bought my first corals ever from them. They made sure I picked good hardy ones knowing that I was a beginner to corals. They answered every question and are always on hand for any quick questions you may have.Their experiences, knowledge, and customer service will make you feel comfortable buying from them.

Drove over 100 miles to stock up for my new nano reef. I must say I was impressed with the cleanliness of the aquariums and the prices of the fish were up to par. As far as coral pricing goes it was about average price for the size you get. There customer service was awesome and they were very friendly and wanted to help youre tank thrive not sell you a dream for cash.Overall a great shop and I will return in the future.

This is my one stop shop for anything my reef is in need of. The guys are always willing to talk and give any advice or tips even if it seems the shop is packed with people on the weekends. Seth and the crew keep the tanks looking great and always have a ton of livestock and coral to choose from. I would highly recommend anyone new to the hobby or that has been in the hobby and hasnt visited this store to stop by and give them a chance.

Tulsa is blessed with many saltwater stores, but there’s one I feel that doesn’t get the recognition that’s due and that’s Coralguy. I’ve been a loyal customer to Seth for 8 years now. While I will always consider myself an amateur, and am, he has helped and taught me how to be successful with my tanks. I trust him and his advice 200%. He gets to know your tank with setup, and will be completely honest even if it means losing money on a sale that wasn’t in your best interest. His knowledge blows me away, and I have built enough of a rapport with him in his staff that they bail me out with questions/problems even when it’s 10:00 at night! This is a fantastic store! I have worked with the owner for many years. He purchased my old tank when I was breaking it down and dealt with me for hours when I was planning out the new one. He is very knowledgeable and helped me with everything I asked, even when I was not purchasing it from him.The fish and coral are very health and I have had a great experience with everything I have purchased.One of the key things I like about this store is that they are not in the business of stocking things that have no business being in peoples tanks. They will not buy coral or fish that look amazing but are essentially impossible to keep and just end up dying.I highly recommend a visit!

Being new to the Tulsa area I have been on the hunt for a good aquarium store. After hearing good things about the coral guy I decided to give it a try. When I walked in my initial thought was positive. The atmosphere is nice and the aquariums are aestheticly pleasing. I would even venture to say they have a decent coral selection. The real downfall of this store is the staff. They were quite rude to me. They followed me around as if I were going to take something. When I asked questions pertaining to acrylic the staff member seemed to be put off by my questions and was very short with me. After having had enough subjection to the poor customer service, uncomfortability, and overall poor experience I decided to leave. Reluctantly I purchased a part for my tank. Had I thought Id be able to find that same part somewhere else locally I wouldnt have purchased it.Other reviews might not agree with mine but I can only go off my own personal experience. I do not think I will be going back to the coral guy anytime soon.

Everything you could ask for in a LFS. Bill & Seth both have a smile when you walk in the door and will happily share their expertise free of charge. Healthy & clean tanks and a large selection to boot. Best of all - theyll help you avoid purchases that wont work with your tank. Just dont try to buy the pet turtle :)

I travel to Tulsa from Nashville every couple months for business and almost always come home with some great saltwater livestock. I was pumped when a Google search turned this shop up because the reviews seemed fantastic. My experience didnt match other folks sadly. When I walked into the store, the Coralguy sat lazily at his desk and thats where he stayed. He didnt seemed interested in selling me anything which is disappointing because I had about $500 to spend. Unlikely that Ill ever go back.

This is by far the best store in the state, probably others as well but I havent been to those shops so I cant say for sure. I started this hobby several years ago with used equipment from Craigslist and before the CoralGuy was open for business and honestly it was tough, so after 6 months I threw in the towel.For newbies, Saltwater can appear to be really intimidating but it doesnt have to be and its really much easier than I ever imagined once I found Seths shop. Seth has made this 2nd attempt so much more successful and enjoyable and leaning on his knowledge and suggestions on equipment and livestock has been THE key to success. Hes steered me away from bad purchases when he could have made a buck, but ultimately it wasnt the best decision/purchase for my tanks success and thats what shows he really cares about the hobby and most importantly his customers. His tanks and shop are by far the nicest in Tulsa, dont believe go look around like I did, and he has the best selection of livestock and coral that are all healthy, which is a big key to being successful. Best of all, I researched a lot of my equipment online before buying and he had everything I was looking for already in stock, and if he didnt he could get it ordered quick and at a great price. Im 9 months into my saltwater setup and I wont buy anywhere else because Seth has taken the time to explain things and educate me on the hobby. His knowledge and support is more valuable than saving a couple bucks on an online purchase could ever be! Thanks Seth!

Clean store, was interested in the livestock. But the guy at the front desk was rude and did not have alot of interest in talking or answering my questions.

This place was recommended to me as a newbie to the saltwater world. I walked in, terrified and full of a gazillion questions which im sure were 75% ridiculous. Every question i had then was answered and they still are today. What i love about this place is, if you talk to them, theyre not going to sell you one of everything in the store. Also, answers are straight forward, if you dont need it or it wont work in your tank, theyll be straight up and honest about it. He has a great selection of livestock and its well taken care of. This is the best looking store in Tulsa. Ive ventured out to the other reef shops, and have not been very happy with my experiences. (Either i had livestock die, or attempted to take advantage of being new to the hobby) He has the BEST coral frag selection at the BEST prices in town. Period. They even talk cars with my bf when i send him on a honey-do...since he has absolutely no interest in my fish habit. Lol this has been and will continue to be my go to place!
