I love how welcoming and helpful the staff is. They are happy to discuss different types of food and or fish and what works for ME as opposed to trying to sell me on something I dont need. I would say this place is awesome for a newbie or a long term fresh or saltwater tank keeper

This place does NOT sell freshwater aquarium supplies or fish. Also very dilapidated inside. Over half of the tanks are empty. Not what is advertised.

This is my go to shop for all of my reef needs. Excellent selection of healthy fish and corals. Staff is very knowledgeable as well. I have seen lots of positive changes with this business.

The guy was rude, told me its not open to public unless you know excatly what your buying. He sent me to store across the street and they did not have what I have I was looking for a live aquarium not pet smart fishes. Anyways he didnt want anything to do with us. And wouldnt let us look.

After visiting this VERY NICE shop, its abundantly clear that the negative reviews posted are completely inaccurate and made up to potentially harm this nice business, and possibly benefit a competitor. Everything in the store was organized and clean (other than a few boxes by the door that obviously needed to be taken out) and the they had plenty of nice, and very healthy looking livestock. A couple of the coral tanks werent full, and there was a few fish holding tanks that were empty, but it was explained to us that they hadnt got an order in the last two weeks, due to the freezing temperatures, which makes perfect sense. But the store was nice and clean, the employees were respectful and very helpful, and over all, it was a very pleasant experience. Thanks again to Advanced for the professionalism, and for also helping me with my endless newbie questions!

Went to purchase Reverse Osmosis water to dilute my fish tank, got the water home & thank Goodness I tested the water before pouring it into my tank. It had a PPM just shy 180ppm & the PH was 8.3. Very disappointed with my experience. They also charge an extra $.03 per gallon, I figured I would receive better quality water not Tap Water. They said they will make it right so I will update review accordingly.

Went in today for the first time and the lady working there was very nice, but the store was disappointing. At least half the tanks were empty and the rest only had a few fish, etc, nothing spectacular. The place seems very disorganized, there were boxes and trash all over the place and inventory was very limited, almost like they were moving or something. There was also a few fish in their tanks that had ich, including a wrasse. It’d be nice if they had species and prices posted that were better also instead of just printed paper taped on the walls which didn’t help much. I’m not trying to knock on this store, I just want to see them do better.

These guys are awesome! They always have a HUGE stock of fish, inverts and corals in stock and are always there to answer any questions you have! If you ever have problems with a tank they are there to help you every step of the way! I have learned so much from them they really make this hobby awesome!

Jason and everyone at advanced aquatics are awesome. They are very honest and will not take advantage of anyone. They treat you like family there. They will help you find the right fish for the size of tank that you have and/or help you find the right tank that you need for the fish you want. I highly recommend advanced aquatics to everyone

One really negative review. But i believe its a fake account and is associated with one of the other local stores. I wont bash that particular store. You just have to see for yourself.

The operations Manager and owner helped me get my tank back on track...He sold me supreme chemicals for bio.... He also took a bold step and furnished cycled pads,huge when my pet fish were in the emergency pickle...my fish are so happy and extremely healthy and I AM TOO because of ADVANCED AQUATICS......THEY HAVE OUTWEIGHED MAJOR PET STORE BY FAR....I GO FOR ALL OF MY AQUARIUM NEEDS HERE...FYI...if in any instance he doesnt have what you need,let him know....he will get it for you that day,next day or most,2 days.....AWESOME COMPANY....GOTTA GO NOW,NEED MORE QUALITY SINKING PELLETS FROM JASON AT ADVANCED AQUATICS....41ST. Awesome saltwater store,,,Very helpful and a wealth of knowledge. Customer service is outstanding, they will go out of their way to help a fellow hobbyist with questions or getting that special item. The prices and selections cannot be beat. A must stop by when we are in the area. We have made the 2+ hour drive from Arkansas just to stop by the store several times. Give them a visit, you will not be disappointed.

I have frequented this store 3-4 times a week for the last several months. The employees and owner are a wealth of knowledge and conduct themselves in such a professional manner. Jason has been so very helpful in getting mine and my husbands saltwater tank up and going, and has even volunteered time outside of business hours to help when we upgraded our tank. Advanced is the only place in the area that we will use to get our livestock. Cannot recommend enough!

I stepped inside to look around while trying to pass the time waiting for a friend. This is a fun place to go, especially if you are a fish hobbyist. They have a large selection of beautiful fish a coral. They allowed me to play with their pet stingray and took the time to answer a lot of my questions even though they knew I was not interested in buying anything at the time. The staff was very knowledgeable. I am extremely interested in saltwater tanks after my visit here and cant wait to set one up for myself.

I love bringing my wife in here. The staff is very friendly and well educated on fish and aquarium maintenance. We will definitely be back.

I picked a fish store and loyally bought all my stock from there but after some very bad advice, nearly all my fish stock died. Im new to the hobby (5 months) and am still learning - my Bad! I made the decision to find another fish store and ran across AA. Aside from a clean-up crew they wouldnt sell me anything until my tank was healthy. After 5 weeks and many very helpful conversations (thank you for your patience) my tank is healthy. I finally get to buy fish this weekend and wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. Everyone at AA has been extremely helpful and patient. I cant thank you enough!

They had some really cool fish, but not a lot to choose from. Staff didnt seem to interested in us and kind of annoyed when we pointed out one fish that was laying on the bottom of a tank seeming to be in distress.

Me and my wife have been to several Live Fish Stores (LFS) from Texas to Kansas and Advanced Aquatics ranks up there with the best. With not only the knowledge that is freely given to the willingness to get in teh livestock that the CUSTOMER is wanting. Jason and TJ have become family to my family.. Great place to shop or just hang out...

This store was ok/average. Selection was decent. Employees were nice enough. At least the lady I talked to was. The man I talked to seemed put off by my questions but sorry Im new to the hobby and am trying to learn so I dont make my tank crash or buy fish that dont do well together. Overall an ok store. I wouldve given more stars but after looking through other reviews the owner blames every negative review on his competitors. That just seems petty and insecure to me so I knocked off and extra star or two. the store should look to learn off their negative reviews and change the things causing problems instead of blaming its competitors for their issues and their customers dissatisfaction. Sorry I wouldve given you at least a 3 and possibly a 4 but blaming others for your issues is what a middle school girl does (believe me I know, I was one not that long ago really). Im still exploring othwr shops in town so i may or may not come back it really depends om thw treatmeant and information i get from other places.Good luck and have a good day-jac
