Very nice atmosphere. Front door leads downstairs to a basement where the bar is located. This bar sets itself apart from other bars, due to having multiple TVs with gaming systems and a couple of old school arcade machines for entertainment. If video games arent your style, there are pool tables as well. Staff was really friendly. Definitely would recommend.

3 stars for now, this bar has major room to grow, and so many opportunities theyre missing and not capitalizing on! But love how they hold theme nights. I was driving back to LA from up north when I saw there was a Harry Potter night. They came up with their own butter beer. Great stuff. I cant wait to see Barmageddon grow. It could literally bring in more business once they do.

Finally visited this place and loved it! Huge selection of consoles to play with your friends or by yourself. They even have a stage for live music and theyll let u have food delivered there!

Just plain awesome fun; everyone there is super nice, they have a menu of just video games, the drinks are good, the beer selection is phenomenal... I could go on, but quick version: this place is The Only bar Ill go to anymore.

This bar is so chill. Play video games while you enjoy your beer. There is a huge screen to play Mortal Combat on Xbox One and a smaller TV to play Nintendo 64 Mario Kart. Theres a pool table and juke box. Whoever created this bar was a genius!

There is something amazing in Tulare, and it’s called Barmageddon!Edit: 7/23/19 This is my second time here. I just wanted to edit to add this. I came to see bands and the bartender saw me plugging my ears. I was really enjoying the music but it was too loud for me. He brought over a box of ear plugs to give me some. It was so nice of him to come across the room, and enabled me to stay through all 3 bands. I am really grateful and wanted to make sure people know they do awesome stuff like that here.

The owner is cool as hell. Its a cool place to chill. Especially if you like video games, free pool, and ice cold craft beer. They have a pretty hefty selection in my opinion.

My first time going there I enjoyed it a lot the people there were so friendly.

Check out Wednesday nights, often they have Dungeons and Dragons being played and as always great cold beer being served!

If you want to have some fun you have to go to Barmageddon the people are friendly and willing to help you and serve you the drinks are outstanding so if youre in the mood head on out you will not be sorry I am Steve the ghost Jefferies you can have some fun!!!

Really fun place with a good assortment of games and plenty of drink options to suit most anyone. From what I saw the prices were about average. The vibe is pretty laid back and the staff seemed friendly. I cant ask for much more than that!

The place is really cool. I like the throw back games, air hockey, and pool. The name of the drinks are cool since theyre based on video games. The only think negative is they tend to run out of something so not all drinks are always available and it can get pretty hot in there

Ok I will just sum it up by saying I have reviewed many places, games, books and such on various different platforms and never given anything 5 stars. This place is so f###ing great I would give it more stars if I could. If you love playing games, or getting drunk, live music, karaoke, and or have any appreciation for the iconic cartoon or gamer culture of the 80s & 90s this is the place for you. Shout out to the Bartender who was cool af by the way. Oh and did I mention they serve strong drinks in large glasses for a third of the price you pay elsewhere. I cant believe I found this Gem in Central Cali. Loved it!!!

I loved it. I didnt go to drink. They just had a couple arcade games there I wanted to play, and they were open till 2 am so I figured why not. It seems like theyre always doing something, I seen signs for karaoke nights, trivia nights, ext. And while I was there, you know just beating the house of the Dead. They started a comedy Jam. It was so cool. I never been to a comedy show and i always wanted to go to one, and sure enough it just happened lol. Awesome place. Ill definitely be going back.

The bar is super chill but I would recommend only bringing cash because my card was charged 2 extra times then what it should have been.

Atmosphere is great lots of video game inspired style, Beers available are great, Cool factor high as its a subterranean venue which adds to th e awesome feel, the feel like you are going to basement punk shows!

If you drove by it you wouldnt even knew theres a bar there. When entering you go downstairs which seems like it traps the heat and they have no fans, feels like no A/C. No food of any kind available so if you get hungry while drinking you have to leave.

This place has GREAT stage sound, arcade machines, air hockey, board games, pool tables) and thats not even everything. You can sit at the bar and play Mario Kart 64; need a say more?

This bar is pretty interesting, still havent been able to put my finger on the vibe. Some nights its very low key and other nights it can get pretty packed with a mixed crowd. Id say its closest thing to a dive-bar youre going to get in this town. Overall the scene is late 20s to mid 30s, geek/nerd/alt scene. Its pretty accepting of others outside of this crowd. There are a lot of live rock bands or comedy/skits that take place on certain nights. They update their Facebook regularly, which I LOVE because Im the type that likes to know whats going on before I get there. Sometimes a cover charge, check Facebook for event details.Pros: Stage, live music setup.Billiards, air hockey, arcade games, beer pong table, large Jenga, projector with console games and a couch. Serves beer on tap. Nice bar staff. Laid back atmosphere, casual dress.Cons: No liquor license. Can feel claustrophobic at times since it is in a basement floor. The crowd is mixed so depending on the night, it can be uncomfortable. Mens bathroom is single stall.Overall, its like hanging out in someones basement that you really dont know. Tulare doesnt really have a good choice of bars, so Id pick this one over others if Im looking for a chill night.
