This place is very well managed. The lawn service is weekly. The manager is so so nice! We haven’t had any problems! The whole community seems to be very nice. Peaceful! The have large spaces to back into or they have pull through spaces. Laundry mat on premises and the bathrooms are very clean.
Nice spot for a few nights for sure. We had a private spot, 52 which was at the end of a row with a short walk to the pools, kids playground, clubhouse, laundry, and washrooms/showers. Everything was clean. Free wifi was solid. Only drawback for some would be the train sounds, that did not run too often, but during the nights for sure. We did not notice any agriculture smells as noted in other reviews. Would stop here again for sure.
A gem of an RV park, located near the Tulare Airport and Ag Center. The park was clean and spotless. It was well maintained and facilities had the appearance of being cleaned regularly and often. The staff was a joy to work with and made the stay a most pleasant experience. A well stocked mini mart was a brief walk away and a Mexican restaurant is across the street. If you are traveling north or south on State Route 99, its a great place to spend the night. It also has a pool and hot tub as well as a small playground if you are traveling with youngsters.
Where to start....Although reservations were made over 2 weeks ahead, for 2 rigs, as we arrived, not side by side as another rig extended.Although requested, one had to back in. Although requested 50 amp, only 30 amp for our 36ft rig on a hot day. Park is aged, so narrow streets and trucks and cars extend out into the narrow streets. We are 57 ft while towing and we were put in a pull through spot where there was no way we could get out, even after the neighbors on both left. So unhooked the car and dolly and made 2 adjustments in order to get the rv headed out.Beware, front desk did NOT explain that since she had not asked for a deposit, our reservations were not guaranteed. Nor was a 50 amp. Nor was side by side spots.Train track was very near. I used ear plugs, but without would have been bad.So, net net, if you are long and towing, we would not recommend. Almost did not make it around the last corner to get to the main street. The agent at the desk, after our request, did get managers permission to reimburse a portion to each rig. But hard to ease the frustration of the experience due to lack of proper communication at the front desk. However, she was pleasant.
This place wanted me to prove my income, and stated that to rent a slot I must make 3 ×s the rent, I have stayed in several places, but never encountered such dilemmas as the grandeur of fun and sun! Its enough to make koa feel 2nd best.
Reasonably priced park with very few spots capable of handling longer units, either because all the monthlies fill the place up, or the sites are just short. An RV park that doesnt like tents, but has no problem with trailer park units clogging up the streets with stuff and cars?Small pool, tiny hot tub, tiny kids play area right next to the OPEN park entrance, clean showers. The bright spots here are the office gal and the nicely refaced bathrooms.
Very nice clean place. But oh so tìght and hard to back into sites
We were super happy to find this place late at night. We needed somewhere to escape the heat and plug in to charge our batteries. We were able to pull in around 10:30 at night. They didnt discriminate against us because we have a vintage trailer that doesnt meet their appearance requirements or their insurance company requirements like other places we called. The place itself is mostly concrete/blacktop, not a lot of grass for the dog but it worked out great. The bathrooms/showers were pretty nice and clean. There is a pool and hot tub available. I would absolutely come back if I was in the area and needed somewhere to go.
Very clean and friendly park easy to find and great food close, Anas. Little noisey with highway and railroad tracks close but well maintained and completely separate from Mobile home Park with block fence surrounding park
Love the place. Yes the trains that go by can wake you up but for the price and how clean it is and how nice the manager is make you feel right at home. Had pool and spa and laundry room and reck room. I’m very happy here and love how close the shopping is from here. Come by and see for your self. Good people and great atmosphere here.
Excellent RV park, super clean with excellent facilities. Would recommend to everyone. Property manager (Rondi) so friendly and helpful.well be back again.
Not impressed. Called ahead to let them know wed late. They promised to leave us info on site etc. They did not. So no bathtoom, amenities access. Trains close by all night
We stay here for months at a time. My wife is a traveling nurse and we tend to look for cheaper but safety is always a factor. Sun and fun is a wonderful place to stay. The RV spots are a little tight (we have a 40 foot rig) and most are back in. Everyone here is very nice. Not had a problem with anything missing. The manager is very nice. She let us know that they had a cancellation during the ag expo so we wouldnt have to move out for 2 weeks. There isnt much in walking distance, a gas station and 2 restaurants. Town really is not far away, maybe 7 min by car. There is a smell, but that is because you are in farming country, they use a lot of fertilizer for all the fruit trees. Its all part of the area to me.
Love this place, wish we could stay longer! Not only were we steps away from the beach, we were personally invited to a park party, hosted by Mike & Laura, it was so much fun with food, drink & music. We felt so welcome!
Its just a small little spot but it is very clean and personable a great place if you just need to recharge your batteries and get a good nights sleep Ive seen the other reviews complain about the trains and there are a lot however if youre inside your rig with a fan going and the air conditioner you dont even pay attention
Our family cruising up the 99 on the second leg of our trip, the folks at Sun and Fun allowed us to stop refill our water, dump and off we went. Great service.
I think this was a nice little RV park. It is close to shopping and just outside of town. It was a nice little break from the road.
Dont really care for the staff to prejudice going on there be half.
What a nice little park! We had a shady lot with a nice patch of grass. The pool and restroom were very clean and nice. Super friendly staff. WiFi is strong and the Cable TV is a nice bonus. The sites are large level concrete pads
50 dollars a night for a spot is ridiculous... loud music and no enforcement of rules ... more of a mobile home park ... they only have three real rv travel spots ... if you get there late hope you are ready to use your rv toilet and shower ... will never go back
Not worth the time to stop here. Keep driving at $50 night you get crammed back in spot next to railroad tracks. Train horns all night. Went to hook up power and was greeted by cobwebs and black widow spider. The area around our site was full of dog poop. Backing into site was nearly impossible due to vehicles parked in road. Never did find cable hook up. After 39 years of bring finally found a place worse then the one in Mexico where you had to boil your water.
Great place if you can afford it. Little too pricey for me but clean safe place.
Good
Nice level parking and clean, full hook ups
They first put me in a space that is to little for my RV and I had to put down a $600 deposit, then I said I wanted a space that would be the right size for my RV and they said I need to put another $600 deposit to move to that space. A total of $12,00.00 to get the proper space. So if you come here expect to be taken for money.
Id give this R V Park 5 Stars but all nite long there were Trains going by and they would shake our Motorhome as if there was an earthquake under us. But I will say the Manager was very nice and very helpful. So, IF you are a sound sleeper and a Passport America Member this place cant be beat for an overnite.
It was a decent park, although the pool and hot tub were closed due to repairs. I think it might have been a more enjoyable visit if they had been open.
They were so nice. Helped me get settled in. They have after hours parking.
So far, nobody in the office when we arrived at 1. No sign saying thier lunch hours. Then try in pull into one of their few pull through sites and so tight, hit the yellow barrier pole, never done that before. Then tried to pay and rejected card. Bank let us know they input the wrong information. Good start to our retirement vacation.
Very tight spots and very little room. Decent pricing. They check your credit and hurt your credit score if you stay longer than a month.
Great so far. Were on our 3rd day of a week-long stay. The woman who checked us in was nice and really helpful. Wifi and cable TV are great! Laundry room is nice - 6 washers, 6 dryers. Countertops for folding. Small vending machine for detergent. You can get quarters in the office. There is a small, fenced-in playground and two swings for young kids. Pool and hot tub are open even in late November. (Closed every Monday for cleanings.)The smell people mentioned is definitely there. (Ive heard its a fertilizer plant or something...?) Ive noticed several flies, too. So, dont leave your doors opened - learned that the hard way. Most sites are occupied, but the entire park us really calm and quiet. Everyone seems friendly. The train horn is pretty loud. When it passes by, weve had to turn the volume up on the TV. But, at night, a fan (or earplugs) will muffle it just fine. Freeway noise isnt a big deal at all.The sites are fairly close. The grass patches are nice, but we still dont have enough room to set up our pop-up tent. (10x10)At this point, Im sure wed happy come back!
Clean property. Pretty quiet neighbors, but the nearby train tracks can wake you up now and again. Great rates. Close to shopping. Very nice manager and great service.
This was a nice spot for a few days. I reserved a site through email, but upon arrival my spot had not been reserved. Best to call, thankfully they had plenty of space and we were able to stay. It is a nice quiet park, there are trains that run throughout the day with their horns blowing, but it didnt bother us. The laundry was great, the restrooms were clean, the kids had fun in the pool although not always the cleanest. Our spot (#3) was level and provided some shade, most sites did not have shade. There are a few pull-thru sites with the rest being back in. The sites are fairly close together with full hookups and very good free wifi. We would stay here again.
I stayed here a few months while I was working construction in the area. There are a lot of trains going by all night long. Other than the trains its a very quiet park. Everyone was extremely nice. There are no conveniences close you will have to go a few miles down the road. The rent was about $380 a month including electricity. Located about 40 miles from the entrance to the Sequoia National Forest, I went here many of weekends.
FYIs here. You must pay in cash *handy bit of info* The park is situated right next to the off ramp so there is a bit of road noise. However the Major source of noise was the train tracks that are so close that a good out fielder could field a ball to them, and oh by the way they run ALL night long and the most special part, they lay on the horn right there.
We have planned to stay for two nights, however, because of the under maintained swimming pool, a grungy laundry room, low water pressure, and the inability of the manager to provide laundry room change as stated on their space map flyer we decided to leave early. This is one RV park that we can cross off our list of acceptable parks to stay in in the futureSorry, I cannot recommend this park for the amenities it advertises. As an overnight stop gap I would try the field across the street or a shopping center parking lot. They do have a dump facilities if youre just passing through.
Nice clean park although it is small and the RVs are parked close together. Has a summer pool and hot tub, laundry room and small playground.
Would be a 5 except for the near-by train tracks with the trains sounding their horns every 2-3 hours all night.
Nice clean RV park blacktop nice trailers pool sauna not a bad one at all
Ok for a night. Have stayed here before. Nice pool, but its in afternoon shade
Went to take my friend food.
Trains, trains and more trains! Lots of train whistles all night long. Ugh! I wish I had seen the previous review before staying. If it wasnt for the trains I would have given it a 3 star rating. That being said, the park is very well kept and the people at the front office were very nice. I think the staff should be giving out free ear plugs to anyone who stays here. The park is easy to get to from 99. They dont have any pull through spaces, so if youre pulling a trailer or tow car youll have to disconnect.
Reviews can be so relative to WHY one is staying. As a place to park the rig and spent our nights while visiting family, it gets a high 4. As a destination I would have to give it a 2 due to its location and not the quality of the park. Stayed here 3 nights with PA half price discount for $25/night while visiting family in the area. Will probably stay again. Yes it is cramped and an older park on the very outskirts of town beside 99 and RR tracks but the hookups worked, site was paved level pull through (beware with opposing slide outs. Possible but tricky). Restrooms, showers and laundry room were all clean and functional. Pool and spa also just fine. For an older park with long term residents it was clean and well kept. Long term residents were friendly and kept their belongings neat. We travel with Max our GSD and Lola our Shiht-Poo. They were fine but little room within park for potty walks. Used grass area beside trailer and walked across the street from park to a large weedy field. WIFI worked fine after setting up an account. Cable tv available as well. Gas station and authentic Mexican restaurant right across the street at highway exit.
Visited here because I have a family member who lives here, well its very clean, I didnt see any homeless people here. Everyone was civilized
I live near there Sun & Fun Rv park
Its a bit small, but not bad. Parking is easy. We meet a great family while we were there.
Terrible management, dishonest and not a place i would recommend.
Great place. I dont understand all the comments about trains. I am a light sleeper and i didnt hear any. Did hear a couple during the day. Nice pool area. Has everything you need-pool, laundry, showers, sauna, and close to the highway.
Nice clean rv park in an urban settings.
Nice Place and the staff is great.
Nicely maintained small park. A little tight for larger RVs but doable. Some train and road noise. We had reserved a space but it was given to another camper just minutes before we arrived. We asked the clerk about our reservation and she lied to us saying the person in our reserved spot extended his stay. He told us he had just arrived. Great restaurant, Anas, across the street.
Wish I could leave a higher score because the place seems clean and the staff friendly. But I have to rate on the overall experience and quite frankly with all the noise, it stunk. Trains non-stop, rigs and their jake-brakes all day, and just overall road noise. Impossible to sleep or even relax. Too bad, because it could be a great stop, location is just horrible. And people actually LIVE here...ugh I feel bad for them.
We did a overnight here. But was a nice well kept place.
Nice park, level sites. We had a perfect storm of the Internet being out, local network t.v. stations were out, valley smog thick and heavily scented with feed lot odors, and there was train whistle and freeway noise. Of course much was out of the parks control.
A disappointment. This park was in an industrial area, lots of noise and bad smells.
Great RV park for the traveler. Excellent facilities. Great and friendly front desk.
Lived at Sun n Fun RV Park for a few years. Very well kept, great accomadations, with respectable, friendly, and professional management. No complaints. I miss RVing at the Sun n Fun. Teri Baxter
There food is to expansive
Ok for 1 night. The bathrooms were fairly clean and the manager was very nice. Thats why I am giving them 3 stars.....The smell in the area is horrible tho, and our spot was next to someone who looked like they piled all the junk they couldnt fit in their trailer in front of it, Im not a clean freak and even I thought it was an eyesore. A few permanent residence seemed kind of sketchy, most kept to themselves tho. Overheard talk of a guy getting things stolen out of his trailer. We kept our doors locked all day/ night. And when we tried to walk our dogs behind our spot a residence dog came out of no where and scared our dogs. My advise take the pull thru spots, the back ins are packed tight and you are surrounded by permanent residence.
Great management & neighbors. Clean, hot tub, swimming pool, clean shower/restrooms, great full recreation facility!!
Very well kept. Yeah, there is a train that does go by regularly but its not over baring if ya dont mind..
Woke up with a broken window. Probably the hoodlums that walk around all hours of the night. Would not recommend to anybody.
Awesome management, very accommodating. Had some loud dogs nearby, a clanking flagpole, and minor train noise. Nothing that kept me awake but it was quite noticeable. The spots are a bit tight to get in and out of but dont feel cramped once youre set. 5th star missing because shower heat and water pressure was an utter joke. I know CA is in a drought but I can shower much faster when it actually sprays! Would stay again.
Horrible place. Went under new management . Seem to be kicking everyone out. We asked if we could stay for another week just to find a new Home they said get out didn’t bother to even work it out with us. Homeless for Christmas thx to them
Wifi is NOT working. When we came back from A short shopping trip, someone else was parking in our place, that we had already paid for. We tried to Call The maneger, but they dit NOT take there phone.Pool is dirty, and playground wery old. The spa have not been working for Many years!I would NOT come here again.
Very nice rest rooms, nice stay there. Some maintenance needed.
Nice place. Friendly people. Wish the hot tub worked right.
Management was great, very clean.
Safe, quiet, great management very grateful
Friendly people, very clean park, reasonable price
Only I thing was wrong was advertising pool year round. Children very disappointed.
Great sites. Nice and clean camp.
There running every body out!!! New management!!! Been here for over 10 years!!! Dont recommend!!!
Very small spaces and the pool is also very small. Laundry and bathrooms were clean. The office does not sell anything.
Pools are dirty, they wont allow you to swim without permission from office ( sign papers, etc.) Lots of noise due to trains, no stores walking distance besides a Chevron gas station, lots of towing incidents and stealing.
For an overnighter it might be ok. Right on highway .lots of road noise and trains. Smell in the air . Staff not the friendliest. But it has concrete level sites full hook up and a pool.
How much are the sites by the month
Nice place
Absolutely perfect!

Smells like sewer backed up
Waited for the bus to get into town
