The Rillito racetrack is a wonderful place to visit at all times. Weither the horses are running or not I highly recommend this place. You can access the loop for a nice bike ride or just for a scenic walk. On Sundays you must make your way down there. They have a wonderful farmers market with all kinds of goodies for all ages. Dogs are of course welcome as well. Stop by Leaping Lizards Organic farm booth to get some micro greens/ Salanova lettuce/ peppers/ butternut squash. As well as try others. You will only find quality at all booths and friendly people. Wonderful way to spend your Sunday morning. Have a great day and always remember Life is Good

First visit to the Heirloom Farmers Market and we had a very nice Sunday morning. We have Salsa, Papamikesjerky, Raw Honey, Prickly Pear Sauce for ice cream, fresh roasted Anaheim Green Chiles, Sprouts & Green Beans!Driving north on 1st, the entrance is on the right just north of the Rillito River.Bring your dog!

I went to the farmers market this morning. Everyone was masked upand there hand sanitizer stations. People were respectful. It was nice to support local.

There are bathrooms at both the fields and the race track. There is also a park that is suitable for kids to play on.

Nicely maintained grounds. Newly paved parking.

I loved it! Lots of space very active. An inside area incase youre cold or dont want the wind or sun hitting you. Concession stands are close to track and were very fast. I suggest dressing up in jeans and boots I was dressed way down and felt out of place but over all had a great time with the kids and husband.

The farmers market is amazing. Desert alchemist is the stand i visit everytime i go. They have medicinal tintures and a few other things but i stop by for the coffee with the chagga or the one with lions main and its been wonderful everytime i go.

Went for the Celtic Highlands games and had a great time! The racetrack used to sit idle except for the brief racing season, but now it has new life with festivals and soccer fields using it also. So glad this historic racetrack was saved!

Heirloom Farmers Market every Sunday is very fun! There are many different vendors with affordable prices for their products. Most of the vendors take debit/credit card. The market is big, I recommend trying Elif Gozleme Turkish food!!

One of the best horse tracks and one with a lot of history. We have been to many, many tracks in the U.S. and love coming back here.

Came here for the Celtic games and the main grounds are expansive. At night the lights here literally make it look like daytime. Restroom facilities are provided by the event, so expect the typical Andy Gump...construction site facilities as nothing is really connected to the food horse racing buildings at least as far as I could tell.

It was fun but I was there betting on 4 when he fell of the horse and later passed.

Farmers Market is full and alive again. Great to see people buying their organic foods.

I went to the Celtic Festival last weekend. It was OK. The pipers were awesome. But the games.... There was no announcer or anything, its just watching guys throw things as far as they could. You have no idea where anything landed or who placed in what position. The vendors were Meh. The scotch egg place literally microwaved it in front of you and served it with a cheese stick. Lol. There was one vendor, King of Crowns. They had amazing jewelry and really reasonabe prices. I really enjoyed browsing the items and I made a few purchases also. The picture is a ring my partner bought for $28. Pretty gorgeous in my opinion.

Racetrack with clubhouse. Easy access and lots of parking. Went for a Kentucky Derby party. Event was well organized. Lots of TVs. Easy betting with both boots and automated kiosks. Affordable drinks and food. Lots of tables in the clubhouse.

What a great place to go and see horse racing! Its totally Tucson! In the best way. Its a little run-down but its got everything you need for a good time.

Great soccer fields - it would help if there was a map or a numbering system for the fields to know how to find them.

My nephew had a scrimmage...there is a lot parking...tons of space....and nice fields for the kids to play on. There are also food trucks and snack/drinks available.

Beautiful healthy horses racing are a joy to watch. The track is horribly run down. I would gladly pay more for admission (currently $5) if the operator would make improvements to observation areas, eating areas and restrooms. Eat before you visit, only snack bar type food available.

I pass by this area biking on the loop. Very active with the Farmers Market on Sunday. Bathrooms are clean and the drinking fountain is great.

Great place to see the horse races. Traffic on race days is busy. Please make sure you approach from the south on 1st as you cant turn left into the park if youre headed south. Parking was fine. I picked the $3 parking which allowed me to park in the business plaza. It was a short walk to get into the park. If you pay for the VIP parking you park a little closer. I paid $10 for GA and once inside there was an option to pay to sit in the enclosed grandstands. Programs were available for sale.Once inside there are pleanty of stations where you can make a bet, including several machines. I chose that option. Put in my $2 and followed all the on screen prompts and made my bet.There are many seats available and its first come first serve. You can also bring your own if you so choose.There are plenty of food and drinks options available and the staff were all friendly. Looking forward to going back next year.

Went to the Celtic Festival and the gate was completely disorganized, we purchased advanced tickets and it took longer to get through the gate. That was after they tried to figure out what need to be done to begin with.

My family and I attended the brain freeze ice cream event, and had a really great time. The variety of Ice Cream companies was awesome, and the music was also fabulous.

Theres a number of events that happen here. Sundays farmers market. We just attended the ice cream festival. Easy to get to. Muat look up Rillito Race Track, not park.

I like the variety of produce ANF other food stuff. There are also other things to buy. It was also bike day which was fun.

Once again it was time for the Celtic festival and although I was a little disappointed that everything started to tear down at 4 PM on sunday I thought this year was better than last year

Nice venue, beautiful view of the mountains.

Was very difficult to see over the crowd on the ground level. I had a baby stroller and could not go up to the grandstands. People were rude and wouldnt let me through at all. I should have just left. Wont be going back and wont be recommending. Also a lot of drunks that were loud and boisterous.

Only went here for the ice cream festival and it was a blast! New to Tucson and didnt realize they had a race track, will definitely be back to check it out
