Skate country is a great place to spend time with the whole family.They do an amazing job at providing a gun environment, while staying safe during covid.

I have been come here almost 30 years. Im still coming it never gets old. My nephew loves to skate. Its get for all ages. The staff are always great. I always like the changes they are making to make it better. They always amaze me. I will always come back.

I really enjoyed my skating experience here. I went on a Sunday evening. The staff was very nice and helpful. Not too crowded so it was perfect for a couple of beginners that needed to hug the wall the whole time.

I love skating and I love this place. I wanted to get out on rink but I seen the reckless behavior also. I like to go fast and do tricks too but at the same time be careful. Im 57 and I have skated all my life. Im also very concerned over the virus, like big time, it effects ppl of all ages, this is a fact. Lets follow simple science. Ware a face covering, wash hands and surfaces, especially high touch areas and ventilation and air filters should be maintained.Capacity should be regulated by local Health and safety department. Lets be safe all around.I cant wait to get back out on the rink.

So much fun and very inexpensive. I haven’t been inside a roller rink for over 30 years and this brought back a lot of memories. I would love it if they had an 80s night.

I come to this place all the time. Almost everyday of the week. I love skating, it’s one of my passions. But I don’t go Wednesday’s and the one time I decide too I have a bad experience. I had a altercation with a older gentleman, asked for some help from the employees. They helped and were great. I don’t have a problem with the staff, I was just frustrated and upset that I couldn’t skate as long as I wanted to or had planned and get my money’s worth because the gentleman would walk over to my table every time I left. So I sat here till they left just to make sure my stuff was not tampered with or stolen. All I could really suggest is in a situation like this you ask the ones that are causing commotion to please move to the other side of the building or leave if that’s too much to ask for. That way conflicts could be avoided. I’m so sad to say that I had waisted a whole five dollars today, and had to be a bigger adult then the guy messing with my stuff. Very disappointed. If I ever come across a situation like this again, I’ll just take my refund next time.

Came here to skate on a dollar Monday night. I had not skated in the longest time and had never been here before. What a cool place! The rink is super clean and the rental skates and good quality. Cant wait to go back.

So i put five stars because they were showing such grate costumer serviceand its perfect for people who dont have a lot of money cause the prices are so low for such a fun place to chill and just hag out with friends they also hold awesome events toward the end of the session to just be free and be silly if your not scared of a little stage fright. with that being seaid i have no complaints or anything but if you really want some fun go check it out for yourself!!

My 3 friends and I were excited to see that they were open and after seeing the long line outside Friday night, we assumed they were counting for occupancy reasons. Not even close. The place was overly stuffed with people to the point where there was no where to sit or stand at all. We wore masks the whole time and I’m glad we did. They are not enforcing masks, 6 feet distancing or sanitizing ANYTHING. There were two bottles of hand sanitizer for the whole place. Girls serving food not wearing gloves (touched food with their hands) or masks over their face. Skate rental employees continuously took theirs off. Woman ref also not wearing mask. Even saw manager take his off multiple times. A child threw up in the rink and the employees did their best to clean it, but no sanitation or safety measures were actually practiced. They allowed people to still skate while trying to clean it. Employees didn’t know what the max occupancy was (I’m sure it was way over). We left after 45 minutes of being there because it was so gross. And on top of this, i was shoulder checked TWICE by reckless skaters who had been scolded multiple times but the woman ref never actually did anything even after telling her what happened. They were pushing over children and others. I probably won’t be coming back until they can follow proper health procedures. I’m giving 2 stars because there was one kind ref who agreed that this was nuts and was actually trying to practice safety procedures.

One employee in particular was very caring and went above and beyond her job family oriented but they have the occasional rude pretten there lol prices are reasonable for a night out with the family. My only true complaint is the walkers they have for people like me that cant skate worth a damn are made for kids but non for adults thankfully I only landed on my butt twice

Im glad that Tucson still had at least one skating place open still.Their food is decently priced and the music was good.It felt really great to be able to go somewhere with the family and be active in a safe and air conditioned atmosphere.We plan on making this at minimum, a mo thly routine

Went here for a night out with a couple friends to get out of the house. This place was absolutely disgusting. We all wore masks and brought our own sanitizer. Literally they only had a bottle of sanitizer at the water fountain which was still functioning and able to use. No one was practicing social distancing at all. Adults, kids, workers, management none of them wore masks. Yet when you come in you are required to wear a mask and if you don’t have one you have to buy a skate country one. Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t send your kids here, don’t bring your families. Their negligence will cause someone to get sick and hopefully their immune system can fight it.

My experience is always wonderful my 3 grand children had birthdays today everybody had lots of fun staff was awesome.

Great place to have fun and kill time! Had a great time just skating! Cant recommend it enough!

Absolutely HORRIBLE! If I was able to give negative stars I would. The staff is some of the most disrespectful people I’ve ever met, starting from the kids working the music, all the way up to the actual owner. The owner will not listen to anyone who has any concerns about any problems, if you complain she will straight up say you’re unwelcome and “banned” from skating there. If you want to skate, I strongly suggest you take a mini road trip to phoenix. I promise you will have a much better experience.

Beautiful artwork, friendly staff, fun times. Bathrooms have been redone and they are very nice. Mondays are free admission

Over priced food and over crowding for Covid but nice to have something to do. You have to wear a mask on the skate rink which makes it challenging for people with asthma. That has changed as when I went over the summer that was not a requirement

Even in COVID, Skate Country is the best family place to go. The place is clean, the people are helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Very fun my kids live it. My 4 years old son tried this for 1st time, 30 mins with helper, then he could let it go and keep playing for 2 hours.

No safety precautions to keep anybody safe. Not only for covid but also for misbehaved guests. Not enough staff for the level of occupancy.

We do go once a week because its the only rink in town, but only once a week. The floor is in really bad shape and not very smooth and the music is usually a strange mix on 18+ night. Will be some current pop but a lot of really slow beats and many people seem to prefer to bring their own headphones. Would be pretty neat if they maybe did another night skate for 18+ and played music that was more up beat and current. Heres to hoping.

This place is amazing and so much fun plus an awesome workout! Staff is super friendly and helpful. They do have dollar nights on Mondays. Snack prizes are affordable. They do have a beginners rink for practice. Staff is on the rink to keep everyone safe.Music is being played which adds a great vibe to the experience. I dropped my phone on one of my visits there and the two staff members did everything they could to find and retrieve my phone.Thanks so much ladies I really appreciate it. Definitely check this place out if you want to have a blast

I always have fun here. Adults night is better because this place is popular for kids and kid parties. The staff is very big on safety and take care of people who fall immediately. All in all, always a great experience

THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME! I took my 9 year old brother and he didnt wantto leave. Even i enjoyed the skate rink. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SKATE COUNTRY. I and my little brother give it 5 stars.

The bar food is good and the jalapeño poppers are lit! Kids and adults alike can skate and have fun!

Great atmosphere. Admission prices are reasonable. Food prices are a little high. I ordered a hot dog a medium drink and large drink and it was almost $9.00. Then I waited for almost 20 minutes for my hot dog because they were too busy and under staffed and the girl told me that their hot dog machine was having issues. My daughter ordered a pizza and it was almost $20 and I didnt like the taste. It tasted like it didnt get done all the way. I would take the kids again, but may skip on the food.

A clean and well-maintained facility. The floor is in good condition for skating safely. Personal are professional and maintain order while keeping the atmosphere fun and upbeat. Music is played at a reasonable level, as opposed to blaring at an ear damaging roar. I cant comment on the food because I didnt have any. The only reason this review isnt five stars is because the rental skates are not in very good condition.

I grew up in Tucson and skate country holds a lot of fun memories. Looks almost the same as 30 years ago.

I had fun watching my grandkids skate, but the music was terrible. There were a couple tunes that played f bombs that were inappropriate. The dj and floor crew doesnt pay attention to the crowd. They just skate. I watched little kids get pushed down by the dj stand where theyre out of site against the wall and i got up to see that one of my grandsons were tripped by a group. That made me mad. They stopped when i confronted them. As for the music, you have paintings of 60s to 90s music stars but not one is played. It would be great to mix it up and stop letting others tell the dj what to play. Need better music. Too much rap and hip hop. Gave me a headache and no rhythm dances. That was good times. Suggest making mondays 80 and 90s night music. That would be fabulous!!

Great, affordable, safe and clean fun place for birthday party. I love the music the dj plays, the remodeled bathroom, And I especially love how Skate Country brings Everyone together... The young and old skate and thats just great!

Way too many games that take you off the floor from skating if youre trying to skate with your family. Plan for about 20 min per hour of open skate. They also do not enforce people keeping their masks on.

Such a Wonderful environment we were just invited into. Patti was beyond helpful and extremely friendly! If only every experience went the way it did here at Skate Country today! My family and I are very happy to have been given the quality service we just experienced. I will be complimenting through a commendation e-mail as well! If you have never been, or just havent visited in a long time you should go! Keep giving a positive environment such as this one revenue to keep the doors open!!

Beware fause advertising regarding their session hours. We went to the 3 to 6 session. We took a short break at the snack bar toward the end of the session. Then we headed to the floor for our last 10 minutes of skating. Thats when the DJ announced that everyone with skates had to leave the floor. The last 10 minutes of the session was reserved for barefoot or socks only dancing. We were pretty ticked off. We came and paid to skate. Not to dance in socks. To be honest, they should advertise session time is 3 to 5:50.

No masks, no social distancing. Their sign says “masks required” but no one was wearing one even though it is required in Tucson. Very disappointed.

Its a fun cheap place to spend any day of the week ... Except Thursday night, unless you are an adult you cant go Thursday night. But its overall a good place to hang out. I take song suggestions, just be careful when you suggest them or else they will play it over the mini games they have. And if you win a Mini-Game you get a free drink ... In a water cup ... Lol

My family loves going to Skate Country and its great fun for all of the kids no matter the age. Its so much fun they dont even realize they are exercising!!! And being they are all boys, they are very competitive, so its great that this facility offers age grouped races towards the end of a skating session. Theres always new things to try with our skates and to learn. Its one of those things as a parent that we grew up with and want to share it with our kids for the next generation to enjoy and keep going.

Wish they had inline or precision skates.

I like it here a lot, the manager and staff are awesome and I feel very welcomed here. I love how they give the skaters the opportunity to dance at the end of sessions. My only suggestion would be to update the music.

Had a birthday party for a 10 year old here and overall it was a pleasant experience. Concessions dont seem to be too overpriced and they allow you to bring in your own cake and decorations. It seems like the staff does a good job of trying to keep everyone safe and having a good time. Not a bad alternative type of birthday party

Yay! Adult night was a blast. Great music, great people watching, a total blast from the past. The rink is updated and clean! I was impressed by how many people were there. So glad this place is still hoping.

Loved this rink! Floor was smooth and music was on point. Everyone was friendly. It was everything I was hoping for in a local rink!

Only go if you want to skate. The arcade is gone. The food is ok...get the wings or eat in advance. Great for fun exercise.!

Im not very good at this kind of skating but I still had a hell of a time

My daughter and I had a lot of fun at Skate Country! The music was good skating was good but I must say I wish the exit entrance to the rink the different little exit entrances that they have were bigger or something because every single time my daughter and I went to get on the skating rink or get off people would be crowding in the exit entrance area like little kids and it was really not that safe so I fell once trying to avoid a little kid who is taking a really slow time to get on the rink and every time we tried to get on the rink since the entrances are so small we would have to wait for other people to get on and off. Other than that I like that they have a little practice rink in the back and it was a lot of fun!

The kids love skate country! Gets them more active and everyone has a great time.

Always a place I love skating at, and its great to go to with friends. My favorite session is 3-6, its typically not super crowded then. All the employees are always super nice, and the music is typically pretty good. Its clean, and overall a really fun environment. And, if you arent into the music, you can always go up and request songs.

Great time with the family! Great music. Although they did run out of the skating walkers to help kids skate. You have to pay at the front to rent them and then when you get to counter they are all sold out. I spent $5 for each one and didnt end up getting to use them because they were all gone.

This place hasnt changed since i was a kid. A lot of the same music, too. And i dont know how they get the water fountain to pump out hot, (not warm) water. Had a blast! This place is definently a Tucson landmark...

My kids love this place! A cool place to play and escape the summer heat.It can get pricey for large groups, but bringing your own skates saves a bit. There are also daily and weekly blocks of time when it is cheaper if youre able to take advantage of that.There is a snack bar with popcorn and Icees for sale, and some TVs to watch if youre just there to chaperone.

So fun! I totally recommend this place!

Friendly and fun. Employees went way out of their way to be helpful on multiple occasions. Clean and well kept. Good selection of rollerskate gear, too.

Great place to skate. If youre a beginner it could get kinda crazy on the floor. There are quite a few skaters that zip in and out that cause unsafe conditions IMO. Overall great place and Ive seen first hand attempts from management to keep this place family friendly, which is nice. Only reason I didnt give five stars is Id like to see more reffing out on the floor. Been there three times and will return, family had a great time.

Went to this place as a kid and recently went back with my 4-year-old daughter. Had tons of fun and the staff there is great at helping if a kid has trouble skating or falls down. Prices are reasonable and location is great!

I love the staff here, helpful and friendly. Brandi and the girl with the long curly hair are so sweet. I would love more jam skating music. Something with a beat. Not so much baby making music and radio junk. I love their games for the kids. During the races they let a kid with a skate mate win the race. The kids using the PVC pipe to assist them skate, shouldnt be competing against the kids who are brave and trying to skate on their own. Other than that I love this place.

Skate Country is an amazing place with good food, nice layout but I would suggest adding something new like maybe a new section for like an arcade for example

Teaching a 6 year old how to skate is one of the greatest experiences an adult can have... Humbling, but awesome. Id be a fan if the experience wasnt blown by huge breaks in skating time with horrible non family experiences like age/gender races that eat an hour if youre not participating, or the lame corner dice game a new skater cant participate in. Advice to the owners, save that for teen night or events. I totally get economics, if you make people wait, theyll buy an overpriced frozen pizza...

Used to be a great place. Now there is a single employee who can ruin it. She barks literally and is the rudest thing after tonight Im no longer coming here.

Every time we come here we have excellent customer service from the staff. They are polite, friendly, helpful, have smiles on and great personalities. The place is clean and the current remodeling is PERFECT. More room for the growing customer base . Todays experience showed that Nick is a superstar employee! Nick is the person behind the mask of the kangaroo mascot. And he is perfect, spot-on for his position! Nick has an awesome personality! His level of energy is excellent, he has a smile that goes from in side out and he interacts extremely well with everyone. He interacts and communicates well with people from any age and he is a pleasure to be around. Thank you Troy, the manager, for having the perfect staff and a great establishment and environment for our entire family to enjoy! Thank you to all your staff and today especially to Nick! This place is fun and you will enjoy it!

Only skating rink in Tucson (ice or roller) thats open to the public. Unfortunately the location is kind of out on the far East side of town but its a fun place to go and bring the family. There is concession food here and pizza, nachos etc so if youre looking for something more substantial than you may want to eat before coming.

My daughter had her birthday party with her friends and family. She enjoyed skating for three hours and eating pizza and wings.

A manager told one of its employees that they were playing too much rap music and he didnt like it. People were enjoying the music. I dont know what he meant by too much rap but you know what he meant.

Great floor, music, and staff. The rental skates are Not comfortable (at least for my feet).Wear something super lightweight as the air felt like it was heated.Price is good.For adults only, better to go when kidlets are home.

Personally, I do not skate, probably will not ever skate, but my daughter does, and she absolutely loves it here! The pizza was pretty good, and its fascinating watching some of the more advanced skaters.
