For the true antique auto fan, they have an impressive collection of antique Franklins and memorabilia. About 2 dozen total. Some restored, some left as is. One thing to note: the necessary liberal use of mothballs to protect the vehicles from pest damage is quite noticeable, so be prepared for that.
Tucson gem! Really enjoyed! Private tour, great cars with unbelievable restorations. Fantastic history of infancy of auto industry. Fantastic grounds and buildings. Can tell volunteers care for the museum, cars and those who take an interest. Will go again. Loved it!
Wonderful little museum. Staff is very friendly and helpful. NOT handicap accessible AT ALL! As long as youre ambulatory, youll have a great time.
Amazing cars. Excellent host. Very informative. Good value for the $
Really cool cars and it was so neat to see the house built in the 1930s. Enjoyed it very much.
Very good collection of Franklin autos from between the wars. Couple of Packards as well. Knowledgeable volunteer guides show you around.
Worth a stopAnd very knowledgeable staff. Small but big on the inside. Just keep going down the road to find this hidden gem
We have lived in Tucson for more than 40 years and it took a guest to tell us about the Franklin Auto Museum. It is a wonderful experience, and a must go if you are into cars!
A must see. It’s not big but the history is really awesome
A wonderful place where the people who restore these historic cars show them to you and tell all about them. Ask questions!
Absolutely spectacular. These cars are far and few between and it is a pleasure to see so many in such good condition all in one place.
So glad we stopped in as we both enjoyed our tour with docent, Phil! The story of Franklin Autos is fascinating and the engineering was ahead of its time. Some beautiful old cars going all the way back to the turn of the 20th century. Lots of Franklin memorabilia to go along with the cars. The build quality of the cars is amazing and the restorations were and are a labour of love..Well worth a stop.....
A lovely collection of Franklin automobiles, shown by people who tend to them.
Great private museum. Very interesting
Very cool place you might never know is there. Very unique place. Highly recommended.
Great original and restored Franklin cars. The docents rode in some and helped restore others. Beautiful cars from 1905- 1930s
Collection of Franklin vintage cars (1905-1934) in 3 small buildings. Guides are retired car enthusiasts. I would recommend it to anyone interested in vintage cars.
Marvelous walk through the past through vintage autos. Guided tour adds alot to appreciation of all the hundreds of details mostly handmade. Seeing the evolution of cars is fascinating! Personal stories about the trips made with cars were very amusing.
Hidden Gem for Franklin cars or antique cars fans. Very nice and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed a lot. Just a problem, the signage is really small on ground, you will easily oversee it so not easy to find the entrance. Other than that, really worth to stop by n spend at least 1.5 hours there. Love it!
Very neat place I highly recommend seeing this while you are in Tucson AZ.
Very interesting and excellent dosan
First class museum with outstanding examples of the marque. Extremely knowledgeable docents to personally guide you and answer your most challenging questions. Highly recommend.
Great little museum. Wonderfully restored Franklins and extremely knowledgeable docent.
A limited, but impressive offering of Franklin autos, circa 1930s.
Great collection of cars and great staff.
This is a must go to place of you like cars or history. Remarkably well done, incredible collection. Curator was delightful. Hidden treasure!
Dad and I went to the US in 07 and his cousin know about this place and called them.We got a calm and very professional by a very nice guy named Chris. I tried to help him find parts for his vintage car back in my home country but it didnt work out.Wonderful place out in the sticks. Does not feel like a museum as such, more a show of privately owned cars. Very personal and very worth the while.
A little hard to find but well worth it. Continue past the sign that says DO NOT ENTER.
I havent been inside of the Franklin Museum, as yet, but walk by it most mornings
Very cool and unique museum. Small but packed with a lot of Franklins. Had a personal tour and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Second visit.New cars added. Cars were moved.Fantastic guide person. Will go again.

Worth the fee. Tour was personal and informative even after 30 yrs in dealership parts and service experience.
Loved it. Lots of great information
Franklin Auto Museum was awesome great people that run the place. Didnt know anything about the Franklin Museum until now.
The museum is very small and nobody was around when I visited. At $10 entrance I feel its a bit overpriced for what is on offer.
Absolutely fantastic
