A place I lovingly refer to as Disneyland. Good times.. ESPECIALLY when the slots are loose. Lately though they have been pulling their purse strings tight. Win some, Lose more. .

Super fun night for me and the hubby! We got to gamble and enjoy good food then kick our feet up in a room for the night!

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The rooms come with a balcony, king size bed, refrigerator, chair & ottoman, desk and additional desk chair, etc... It has a nice glass shower. The staff are accommodating and pleasant.It has an exercise room, Outdoor pool and jacuzzi, it was raining and to cold to use at our stay. They have seating areas with fire pits which are nice. There’s supposed to be a bar at the hotel, separate from the casino but it’s only open on select days. They have a nice gift shop. Coffee bar, which we didn’t try and I believe the only vegan option for us was fruit. I believe it’s open from 6am-2pm.The Casino itself has lots of games but you don’t win very much or often. If you do, plan on dumping more than $300 into the machine to win!It would be a great stay in the summer time when you can utilize the outdoor amenities.WiFi wasn’t working and ordered movies on its own but the manager promptly reimbursed us!Security oversteps their boundaries and can be unprofessional.

OMG....so full of smokers. The entire place wrecked of cig. Smoke. Not happy. Found a non smoker room to gamble only to find a big area with hardly any machines. Used to be a great place. We left after 10 min. Overly crowded.

I left only 30 dollars less then what I spent and I played for hours . The employees are very considerate to those who dont have a drivers license to drive their wheel chairs! Lol

Its bad, you have to wear a mask and breath your own carbon monoxide and breath cigarette smoke. Eeeeew.

I guess because of having to close for the COVID19, Diamond is having to recoup the moneys that they spent to stay afloat. We usually get a good pay for playing Max but this did not occur, to get back $20 bucks on a win we were definitely paying Rent! Good luck, we will not be coming back but will stay close to home at Apache Sky!

I think it needs an overall boost. Its definitely not the cleanliness casino, and service was below average. Also, I couldnt play my favorite slots because every other one was shut down due to covid-19. Only part I actually do like about Desert Diamond is the location.

Im giving one star only because of the way their point system works. Twice Ive been eligible to move up to the next level and twice I have not been moved up. Why? Because they only move up at the beginning of the next month. What they dont tell you, is that you accumulate points over a 12 month period that is constantly changing. In July, I had enough points to move up so I expected a new level the first week in August. I was not moved up because they then take the points you earned in July of the previous year away and now are counting a cumulative point balance from Aug-Aug. In my opinion, you should move up the day you have enough points. Its just their way of keeping you coming back and its BS.

Excellent food and top notch gaming, security and Police are on the property to round it all out for a fun safe experience!

My baby and I went here today and we peeled them back for a couple hundred clams. We usually win and she rides me like a wild stallion until I cash out with most of what we win. I need her aggressive manner to keep me from losing it all back. I love this place and my baby.Some guy named Ernie P posted an erroneous sack of BS about DD staff not doing proper procedures on C19. He obviously lost all his rent money so he gave DD a black list rating. Dont believe anything he says about desert diamond not doing their part because theyre doing a fantastic job

Desert diamond is nice, but it is so hard to win there. We used to be able to go out and break even or ahead most of the time but not since they reopened after covid hit. I have talked to many patrons and they feel casino del sol is easier to win money.

Weve stayed at the hotel a few times (closed at the moment). No complaints with the hotels. The casino is ok. The payouts are noticeable much better than Del Sol.

Lots of machines. The lunches are really good and cheap. 2 lunches for $12.00Nice big casino to roam around in. Really clean.

U guys have a great operation but when will you guys start to let people w in you hardly ever hear of anyone winning if they do they end up giving it right back ..start to pay out

I give 3 stars because casinos are a hit and miss kinda place. The staff are friendly for the most part. But around closing time they truthfully arent. But I understand we all have family and homes we want to return to. All and all I recommend this place if you have extra money to spend.

After everything thats changed it was good to get back in there and have some fun!

I really enjoyed the place. Had a lot of fun even though I didnt win but it kept me at that machine for 5 hours.

Your security and staff are great as my husband was starting to have a low sugar episodeand they were great help him and getting him to care for me.

You are doing a great job with keeping the place as clean as you can. We miss the food areas being open.Not your fault but people smoke so much its terrible.

I was a little taken back when entering the Desert Diamond Casino today. The air in there was thick with smoke. Even with a mask on I could still smell the smoke. It has never been that bad in the past. If you do not smoke I would highly suggest not going there at this time. Most area casinos have banded smoking on the floors due to the Covid restrictions. They have designated areas for you to smoke now.The Desert Diamond does have a smoke free area to play but the smoke from the rest of the floor floats in there. I had to leave earlier then planned because I was getting a headache from all the smoke. If smoke bothers you I would suggest you go to a different casino.

This place is comfortable to me.. I go there to escape and relax from the stress if living everyday that I go there for. It really helps......

Great location. Staff was superb. Lots of things to do. Great workout room and pool. Tons of parking and very quiet. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I highly recommend.

Itz close to home, more than other casinos. Everyone was wearing masks including the staff. The slots were separated by clear plexiglass. The food is always good & the servings are generous.

The casino is open right now inspire of the pandemic... They are giving away 10 dollars to attract customers. You have to wear a face mask and entrance is metered to one guest at a check time to be scanned by security. I was surprised at how busy it was but ultimately bummed that I didnt win big

Nice new hotel. You don’t need to go through the casino to go from check-in to your room. Restaurant good. Casino a little smoky but what casino isn’t?Negatives as others have mentioned. Room AC noisy, TV could be bigger for the distance you are watching it. I really hate the policy of them coming in your room every day even if you have your do not disturb sign on. Privacy is not the hotels policy I guess.It looks like if you have an RV you can just set up camp in the parking lot. No special RV parking.

Always love staying here on our drive back to San Diego from Texas. Staff as always are great and go beyond to makes us feel welcome. But after being in the car all day we look so forward to the jacuzzi but unfortunately there was an issue with the heating system. We were told they would call our room when it was taken care of. We called back 30 minutes later we were told the Maintenance worker was at lunch and never heard back. Overall love your place and will be back it just a little disappointed.

5 Stars all around for this establishment. Every single employee we encountered was extremely nice and helpful. We stopped here on an overnight stay and were blown away by the hospitality. We ate at the buffet and let me tell you it was the best buffet weve had in a very long time. We will be stopping by here every time we come thru Tucson area. If you havent been here give them a try you wont be disappointed. Bravo!!!!

Still smokey, they say no vapping but people sneak it in, yuk! Love getting a ride to the door on the golf cart, drivers are soo nice!

Oh yeah I dont want to talk about that they were closed at 12 than Google gave us the wrong directions then they dont give vets free rooms supposedly veteran-friendly atmosphere that we came after we drove 400 miles for a free rooms so we went to the club Sol but couldnt ent3r the club Sol to claim our rewards card so we didnt get a chance for our free wheel spin fo a chance to win up.$500 so yeah it was it was horrible security guard who was very nice when she told us to go to Club Sol

Never win, can never get a drink, and after thousands of dollars, and years later as a silver diamond member and still havent moved up. I almost feel like none of the staff like me.

Very clean, friendly & helpful staff, easy check in. The lady who worked the gift shop Thursday night was AWESOME!! Very friendly, funny, helpful & great to talk to. The lady in the gift shop Friday morning was complete opposite ️ The grounds outside had beautiful landscaping and very clean as well!

Even through a pandemic, i appreciate someplace open where i can have fun. The staff are staying on top of sanitizing as soon as you leave one seat...they clean it within 5 seconds.

They are taking the best precautions possible! But still alot of people walking around not wearing their mask and they are not smoking or drinking! They do their best to enforce mask wearing some people just dont care about other peoples well being!

You can not play comfortably. Too much smoke awful.

I went a few months ago just for the buffet and they didnt let me in because i didnt have my id.

Atmosphere is lively! Couple of different places to eat, the grill and the buffet. Both were good. Self serve soda and coffee bar on casino floor. But servers also come by while you are playing, and will take your order. Well lit parking lot and security. Charley Pride was doing a concert across the courtyard from the casino. Plenty of parking. Cant remember the dates, but Ambrosia and Ron White will be appearing in coming months. Call for times and ticket information. Most of all, have a great time when you go!

Although the room was nice, the price was high. We had a group of very loud people next door to us. We called security several times with no change. It went on through out the night. When I checked out, they did not seem to care. The casino is super smokey....there are no non-smoking areas. We will NEVER go back.

Visited not too long ago. Fun place to play around and be an adult, for awhile...so easy to lose track of time. Even if I lose, I still purchase one of their cupcakes on the way out! That is always a win.Lots of security and ample amount of parking. Grounds are maintained and kept up.

My go to place to have fun losing money, its usually busy and lively, i have never had any trouble finding a machine to play on, their food is pretty decent both in the restaurant and the cafe area, staffed with friendly and knowledgeable employees throughout the entire casino. For Tucson this is a very good Casino in my opinion

We had so much fun here. I won $700.00 on a penny machine! I only put in $100.00 I thought that was pretty sweet lol. Great food and fun environment. Definitely will go back.

Bed/mattress was hard. Walls were thin. I heard every word our neighbor said, and every flush in the bathroom in her room. Water was warm, not hot. Coffee bar did not have food advertised. Really disappointed with this place. I would not recommend this hotel.

Newly remodeled room & bath were gorgeous. Loved the upgraded private balcony. The walls, however, are paper thin (like drywall-on-bare-studs-with-no-insulation thin). Casino was fun. Downgrade from 5 to 3 for crappy service, no warning there would be construction noise at 7AM on a Saturday, and the pool was not heated as advertised.

We had fun and they were on top of cleaning the machines.

The Hotel and Casino are always clean and well maintained. I always enjoy coming here. Only one small concern, I stayed in the Hotel overnight with my special needs daughter as she loves coming here for her birthday: the beds in the special needs rooms are pretty high for a person that has mobility issues. Otherwise, she always has a great time. The staff at the front desk when we checked in were AWESOME.

We ate breakfast at the buffet and it was the best!!! So many different varieties of food, Dessert and drinks.. Our waitress was very nice.. I would definitely go back!! Also free mimosas for breakfast

The staff have always treated us very well. We used to frequent Del Sol however we have switched to desert diamond as the gaming tables are not as cramped...

We found this casino to be clean, lots of machines that allow us to play awhile, not just take your money! Most native American casinos we have played at just took our money and didnt get a dime back nor any play; this one was much better in that aspect. We even won some money! It was on a Thursday but was still very busy. They dont comp booze but they do have free soda and coffee. We didnt eat there so I cant comment on that.

One of the older casinos in town, very smoky inside (since this is a tribal-run casino). Restaurant Grill was nice, we went old school and did evening Bingo. Staff were super helpful and very nice: explained rules of playing Keno and Bingo, how to use the new customer discounts/free play connected to the Casinos club card. We had a fun afternoon and evenings outing.

We Boondocked in the parking lot from Dec 22 to Dec 27th. It was great having security come by every half hour. There were about 14 of us there. The casino also gave us a 10.00 off coupon for food and 10.00 for gambling. We ate Christmas eve at the buffet for 5.00 each. Awesome. And my husband won 43.00 on the machines. If say thats pretty darn good.Food was excellent. Service really good too.We went back for Xmas buffet and had a wonderful buffet for 21.99. Excellent!!

Beautiful casino, and hotel, with variety of different eating options. Newer slots/games machines.Never been impressed with slot payout. Had been going for years.Moved to different city, thought I would go back and see the changes.Still very well maintained, but I go for the slots, and they are still amazingly tight. Ugh. No thank you.

It was a nice hotel and the casino is separate. We actually never made it to the casino. One thing to note is you are right by the airport so you can hear the planes. Luckily they weren’t departing or landing during the night but would wake you up in the morning with the loud jets and shaking.

Beautiful room and balcony was enjoyable. A/C could have probably used a tune-up but, wasnt bad. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub!! Wished they had bar service out there. Had the brunch buffet !! It was very good, lots to choose from! All in all we would definitely stay here again!Shout out to Cynthia for her great customer service and helping with the reservation!!Also got a kick out of the message on the door about purchasing hotel room items.. lol

Delicious and fresh buffet. Lunch buffet is a great deal including beverage and dessert. The selections were fresh and homemade. The restaurant is clean and pleasant to spend time in. Staff are very attentive. This establishment is above average in all respects.

Hotel was perfect for what we needed. Casino was extremely smoky. Line for dinner buffet was over an hour wait and didn’t seem to move, yet so many open tables. We decided to eat in the cafe instead.

The Casino and the restruante next to the Bingo room is fantastic. The buffet was not very great, if I could just rate the buffet I would give it 2/5 stars. The room was nice, beds are a bit hard but overall decent rooms. No bed bugs, I checked.

It was my First time visiting this particular Desert Diamond Casino and I have to say that it was very nice. I attended the pre-registration event for the 16th Annual Desert Diamond Golf Classic. It was held in the Conference Center area and at the Hotel Pool. The Hotel and Conference Center staff did an excellent job with presentation, and the food tables were great. There was a variety of different appetizers and what I had was delicious. Would definitely consider a staycation here! Recommend :)Please like review after viewing :)

Well, I shouldnt have gone out especially to Casinos when Arizona is one of the worst States with new Coronavirus infection cases.I tried Casino Del Sol first as an early bird expecting less crowd and felt comfortable enough to stay for a few hours; Plexiglass dividers between slots and practicing non-smoking policy.On the other hand, I regret going to Desert Diamond (Tucson) for several reasons; Open after 10a, no designated area for smoking, no dividers (Chairs are removed here & there) and no enforcing to wear masks all the time inside of Casino( a filthy looking guy was coughing constantly and smoking! I asked a floor staff to escort him out or at least make him put a mask on but it was meaningless as he was a chainsmoker ! ) and Slots were tightened up.I took off with fear---.
