Just a few of the amazing pieces I have bought from Shark Reef both in person and the auction site both were a great deal and let me tell you these guys are great when it comes to customer service. They remember every piece, problem and even further interest in the hobby I’ve had . They have saved my corals countless times and helped me with tank issues I’ve cause from my own neglect like red slime that almost ruin my corals. ( it also helped they didn’t make me feel horrible about it ) . They help calculate common issues like light settings,water changes amount, filter media. They will not oversell you on any products you don’t need, the results are immediate my take cleared up the next day with zero loss of coral and fish. It’s over an hour drive from where I live but it’s worth I appreciate everything these guys have done for my tank. The price are amazing the corals are beautiful and most importantly they will help you along the way.

So, while out driving around in Tucson and checking things out my son and I stumbled onto this terrific little place called SHARK REEF... THESE GUYS ARE GREAT!!! They saw us get out of the truck and knew we were from Houston... BUT, they also knew we probably wouldnt be buying anything and just kinda window shopping... NOW, I am old and bad with names, so I will call them the 3 beards...lolMy son kept asking me questions that I could NOT answer, so I told him to ask someone that worked there... NORMALLY in this day and age, NOBODY cares about you unless youre buying something...NOT THESE GUYS, they took the time just to answer my sons questions and give him a little education on fish,corral, and tanks... I got friends that live here and friends that are going to live here,... For these guys to take the time to answer questions KNOWING they arent going to sell anything shows me a LOT... Its a LITTLE place that has a BIG future in my opinion... IF I ever am in the market for a fish tank, theyll have to make a trip to Houston since I will be calling them...You locals should really check them out and support the little guys... NOBODY is going to take care of you the way they will... Best of luck to you guys and hopefully Ill see you in the future...THANKS AGAIN being a little old school and taking time out of your day for us...

Shark Reef is by far the best marine aquarium store in Tucson. Everyone is super friendly and willing to help. They have a great deal of expertise and are sure to help you with any issues or problems that come up in your aquarium.The quality of there live stock is next to none. I almost never post a review, however, yesterday I stopped by for the first time and my experience was outstanding. The impression i got was that the place looked clean and stocked with beautiful coral and fish. I walked in to check it out and to see if they had any poly filter pads to control my nitrates, they did not but Rob was happy to show other products that would work. Rob was very friendly and knowledgeable and instead of just selling me a product he wanted to know why my nitrates were high in the first place. I was highly impressed with the time he spent trying to help me even though he looked very busy. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured into buying anything or that I was taking any of his time. I felt comfortable asking him questions and he was happy to answer every single one. Customer service is a must for me above prices or anything else in any place I visit and thats what I got. Thanks Rob and I really appreciate your time and dedication.

DO NOT SUPPORT ANIMAL CRUELTY!Not sure why this place even felt the need to open, we already have several mediocre salt water fish stores with absent owners and underpaid staff.I lasted 2 minutes and after the strong stench of the store and the injured and dead critters I left the store.This seems more like a fish graveyard then a fish store.I will never return and if you care about the lives of animals, you should not either.- Would give zero stars if I could, Its really what they deserve- 0 STARS

Mood ring you sure must be moody... that stench would be saltwater. Yes unfortunately some livestock doesnt survive the journey from who their supplier was, however since the have had even fewer issues than you over-exagerated... Rob (the owner) is one of the friendliest guys you can have the pleasure of meeting and will work with you on what your needs are. Some of the best corals you can find are here as well as a healthy mixture of livestock. If he doesnt have something inn hand he will order it so you are supporting a local business and getting thousands time better quality fish than anything Petcome could even think of.Bottom line, dont listen to snowflake hippies upset at our hobby we all enjoy and check Sharkreef out.

Purchased a aiptasia eating filefish and a horned blenny yesterday with a staff who hardly knows anything. Anyways, the next day the filefish died and he was doing fine when we got him. I called for a return or if maybe an exchange for that poor guy but they said only can do a 25%. Tested my water to see if it was my water but everything was all normal. My clown fish have been doing perfectly fine. Also, told me if could be then stressing from being caught or some manufactured problem. Those are all an excuse. Never coming here again worst experience from coming to a person who is experienced in saltwater and freshwater. What a disappointment for this store! Dont recommend this store especially since they leave a guy who hardly knows anything in that store and I know more than that guy....sad and a disappointment.*Update review*So I got contacted to one of the owners, Rob, and finally meet up with our busy schedules. Finally met up today, I am highly satisfied and shows how much they do care about their customer service and reviews. They try their best on improving their service which I like of them. After speaking with him, I ended up with a two fish and a scallop. He gave me 40 dollars of credit from the file fish which was nice. Having a knowledgeable person does make a difference. I suggest going when Rob is there who knows what he is doing. Thanks Rob for finding and contacting me!

I think Mood Ring got this place mixed up with the place on Oracle IDK...First time in & I was impressed. Nice set up & still getting some things set up. They were very busy putting up new stock but gave me there time. Owner is young optimistic & very personable. This is a store I would go out of my way to give my business. The only thing I didnt note was live rock for sell but I prolly missed it. Frag prices r not listed but what I bought was at a more than fair price. Very happy to find an awesome store like this on the west side of town. Terre Haute, IN Inland aquatics spoiled me. Hate to see that place downsize:(
