Wow! Just wow! If you want to have your breath taken away by some of the most impeccable aquascaping you’ll ever see, this is the place to be! Everything is pristine, and they carry every imaginable item you’ll need to run a beautiful tank for your new aquatic friends. The staff is beyond knowledgeable, they help in a way you can tell this is their passion! Can’t wait to come back!
Neatest fish store Ive ever seen! The fish are all healthy, the store associates are knowledgeable and friendly, they have all you need for your home tank hobby. :)
We purchased a tank and all of the required elements to run a successful aquarium. They were very knowledgable and helpful. Three months later the fish we picked ate one of the live plants. We returned to purchase a replacement plant and to our surprise, they gave us the replacement free of charge. We were very happy. Great service, great products, and integrity too! We will return and recommend Arizona Nature Aquatics to everyone.
Absolutely love this place, theyre definitely the best freshwater aquarium shop in town. They have a wide assortment of fish and plants at a reasonable price that you wont find in your run of the mill pet store. The staff is super friendly and informative and I would recommend this store to anyone and everyone intrested in fishkeeping.
By FAR the healthiest freshwater fish, inverts, and plants in town! All of the tanks in this store are absolutely stunning! When I was starting out with planted tanks Ben was able to give me all the advice I needed on substrate, lighting, ferts, etc. to keep my plants alive. Now all my tanks are thriving. (pictured) They also have an unparalleled selection of fish here and were always able to order anything I wanted if they didnt have it in stock already. Sometimes it took some time, but if you cant be a little bit patient in fishkeeping youre in the wrong hobby.I also got great advice at this store any time any of my fish had problems, anything from if I couldnt get a picky fish to eat to dealing with fin biting in a betta.
Very clean and tidy, best fish selection in Tucson. All the fish are very healthy and well taken care of. They will definitely be getting my business again.
A beautiful store! Incredibly well priced low-iron rimless tanks, and a great selection of plants and fish too.Very nice staff
Super clean. Beautiful tanks. Super knowledgeable. Best store in town!
Super knowledgeable helpful place. They limit to 5 customers at a time too during covid, which I like.
GREAT fish store. Prices may be a bit higher than a big box store (but not necessarily), but its worth it to have the variety of selection and the quality.Every tank is maintained immaculately, decorated as a high quality display tank, and the fish arent crowded uncomfortably. They have a fantastic variety of submerged aquatic plants ready for either stem propagation or transplanting. They also have a wonderful assortment of supplies including aquarium hardware, tanks, food, plant supplies, CO2 systems, decor (again, high quality here, not the silly sponge Bob ornaments some places carry....), etc.The staff are helpful, not at all pushy, and are knowledgeable about their craft.
Nice looking place, clean tanks and healthy animals
Really neat place with lots of tank options.
Beautiful store and everything is spotless!I can’t recall her name but she was very insightful and explained how the tank works and told me what would be good with my betta.Highly recommended
So I liked Arizona nature aquatics before. You pay an extra dollars or 2 for quality livestock. Compare the plants you get from here to any box store. So, I tried to buy some fish and they would not let meuntill they tested the water!!! What?? Unexpected, but I love it. Yeah it annoyed me. But not selling just to sell. Making sure what the sell will last.
If youre in Tucson and love fish you HAVE to stop here. Absolutely beautiful and sleek interior and great quality of care for all fish inside!! THIS IS NOT YOUR STANDARD FISH STORE. This places goes above and beyond, always willing to answer questions and give suggestions.
Beautiful tanks and very good, quality fish. Will definitely go here for my fish from now on! Also has a wonderful variety of frozen foods, driftwood and stones to choose from.Lovely store.
This is the go to for all your freshwater aquarium needs in Tucson! Wide variety of Fish/Shrimp, Aquariums, Plants, Driftwood, and everything you could possibly need for your aquariums!
Friendly and knowledgeable. Great looking aquariums!
This was my, and my friend’s, first time in Arizona Nature Aquatics. As a new pond owner who inherited 3 goldfish who lived in an outdoor pond before me, I was excited to explore what other fish I could pair with my newly acquired fish. I did research and created what I thought was a little oasis for my fish. I described the above to a staff member that approached me and now, I wish I never walked into this place. Instead of educating me, I was berated for the things I didn’t know that I didn’t know. I was asked a series of questions, which I was initially appreciative that she wanted so much detail. But each question came with a response of criticism. As example, she asked about my filtering systems. I excitedly told her I had 2 fountains. She immediately remarked that isnt good enough and proceeded to lecture, in a very condescending tone about my setup. Then she asked about plants. I told her that the plants were in progress and I was working on getting more. This is where her tone really changed with me. Instead of educating me, she berated me for not having plants and told me that I should have never put fish in the pond before there were plants in there. Ok, maybe? But could you educate me instead of berate me?So, I asked what plants they have hoping to now fix my apparent plant problem. Without hesitation she said, “none of the plants here survive outdoors.” I was confused by this and wanted to learn why a plant that lives in water couldn’t live in water outdoors but was afraid that my question would only lead to another condescending response and leave me feeling even more inadequate as a fish-parent than I already was made to feel in this visit.I wanted to see the Barbs since my research showed they get along with goldfish. I had to walk myself there and she reluctantly followed. She continued to tell me how no fish there would live in the pond and continued to tell me more about why I have created an inadequate living environment for the fish. She told me that no fish that were at their store would go into that pond because they were all bred in a tank and wouldn’t survive in an outdoor pond. I brought up the point that the goldfish were tank bred (3) years ago and are still alive and thriving, without plants. I clearly stated that I was there for an outdoor pond so I felt even more humiliated when it was communicated to me 20mins later that I was in an indoor aquarium place only. Perhaps she should have lead with that. After feeling completely humiliated, I said “it’s clear you don’t want my business” and walked out. She made me feel as if I was enacting in animal cruelty when all I was trying to do was find pondmates for my goldfish. I understand that part of your job is to educate but to berate someone who is a new pond owner and is learning is horrible customer service. I felt incredibly judged leaving there. My friend who came in with me remarked, “No one should have spoken to you like that.”Of all places, I went to Petsmart afterwards. They had Barbs so I asked the associate if they could be paired with goldfish. The sales associate at Petsmart was fantastic. She educated me that while they would get along with goldfish, goldfish produce amounts of ammonia that could be toxic to Barbs if I don’t have plants. Wow! I had no idea about this and I was so appreciative of her knowledge and how kindly she educated me.I don’t know what I don’t know and when I came in with enthusiasm to see what your business offers, I suggest kindly educating and asking questions that are not condescending in tone and not making me feel that the fish at this place are too good for me. I wanted to support local and would have been happy purchasing a water structure to put in my pond to at least give some business to local but instead I was essentially shooed out the door.First impressions count and my first impression of Arizona Nature Aquatics is that my beginning fish knowledge was not welcomed here.
The best fish and plant store in town so far. I love that they care for the fish so much they wont sell you unless you have the correct balance of water. Even other fish store wont ask you to bring water sample of your tank.
After going here I regret getting my tank at a chain store. They sell some beautiful equipment and bright, healthy fish. No Bettas in little jars here. They are extremely knowledgeable and will test your water and troubleshoot your tank. I feel lucky to have them nearby.
This place is great, no its amazing. The selection and quality is top notch. Its a freshwater planted tank store specializing in tropical fish. They have shrimping supplies. If you are looking for the best planted aquarium store within 100 miles of Tucson this place is it!A lot of people have told me that one of the employees is difficult. Actually, as a high functioning autistic person myself I can spot my own kind in the wild, be patient and ask direct questions and use pragmatic clear communication. If you do they will help you beyond belief.
Its your boy tray. Love Ana have not been for a while. But everything is quility
Extremely helpful and honest, which I appreciate. They werent there to sell me on stuff, just there to help me get what I needed and answer any questions I had.
The store itself is amazing. The staff was super helpful when I was having an issue with my bettas dying. They took the time to test my water and explain what could be going on with them. She gave me different options as well. I ended up taking a few things home and have had no more betta deaths! With how beautiful the store is they have very fair and competitive prices!
This is an amazing aquarium store. They are so knowledgeable and helpful. Their display tank are gorgeous. The fish are healthy and beautifully cared for and displayed. Very clean and well arranged. I have been given great advice on setting up my new aquarium. I highly recommend stopping in even just to take in the beautiful aquariums. I have spent two of my lunch breaks there. Great stress relief!
If you own or are planning to own a freshwater aquarium this is quite literally the ONLY shop in Tucson to purchase from. This store is one of the only freshwater stores i have seen in my 30+ years in the hobby that is truly doing it right. Considering the dismal state of aquarium stores currently in Tucson, it is awesome that we have this place! Prices are more then reasonable considering the selection and quality of stock they carry. Healthy fish in a store! Please check this place out and you will see that it really is the only go to spot in town for Freshwater.
This place is simply amazing! If you plan on getting into the hobby or have been it... this is the place to go. The knowledge... the atmosphere... the selection. Absolutely AWESOME!! No matter what side of town you live on... you have to make it in.
Great quality fish! Amazing tanks. Expensive but worth the money. Exotic and tropical fish. Not so much your common fish but fish that you wouldnt normally find at a petsmart or Petco.
Only aquascaping focused store in the state. Absolutely amazing. Wish they were in Phoenix!! Only reason I give four stars is they have to be consistent with hours. I literally drove down from Phoenix on a Thursday after waiting all week for them to open. They were closed. Not very fun to waste 50 bucks of gas because a store did not properly post their hours.
This is hands down the nicest aquarium store Ive ever been in! Clean, modern looking, beautiful fish that all look very healthy. They have a fantastic selection of plants and supplies you need to make your tanks happy and healthy. I took my mother along and convinced her to set up a terrerium! Ill be helping her through that.My visit was just to get some plants and. Blessed be they had what I was looking for! Water wisteria, java moss, and weeping moss. Next time Im down in Tucson Ill grab some flame and Christmas moss (I raise shrimp, gotta have the mosses!). Speaking of shrimp they have a good variety of those too!The store is freshwater only and basically has everything you need to set up a successful tank!
Very sleek aesthetic; clean store with knowledgeable staff. Great selection of both aquatic plants and fish, with unique aquariums for sale.
This is the best place to go if youre starting a freshwater aquarium or even know what youre doing. They friendly, knowledgeable, and have almost everything you could be looking for. A very lovely place.
Awesome and beautiful shop. Beyond knowledgeable and friendly. I would buy my fish from them in a heart beat! The tanks, fish, and plants all were top notch! Highly recommend!
The best freshwater dedicated shop Ive seen anywhere. Spotless, great music and the owners are knowledge giants.
I almost never leave reviews, but Arizona Nature Aquatics is so far above the ordinary that I cant help myself.First, the place, while easy to drive past if you dont know it is there, it is a place you dont want to skip. The aquariums are works of art, the fish are exceptionally healthy and the plants can not be beat. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and helpful. Have a question? They know the answers. Whether your questions are about compatible fish species, setting up a CO2 system, which plants will not be too large for your aquarium, lighting or troubleshooting an issue or concern, these people cant be beat.Ben is an unbelievably knowledgeable and helpful guy. I could show him pictures of the tank, and he knew what the concerns were, and how they should be addressed. His advice has really made my first planted tank a strong success, with lush, vibrant growth. They stock a wide range of aquarium related items, but dont stock things they dont believe in.This place is a gem.
Beautiful store. Hes willing to answer any questions you have, just ask.
Aquascape heaven! This place is a gem if youre interested in aquascaping! The tanks are absolutely impeccable, the fish appear to be flying in air in their tanks. The owner is very knowledgeable, obviously with the works of art he has and Im sure would be able to answer any questions you have about aquascaping and fish keeping in general.
This is a great place. Clean and well organized. Great appearance of tanks and friendly staff.
The best place to go to in Tucson for all your fish needs. I love how clean and well kept the fishes and Aquariums are. No poor lil fishes laying at the bottom.
Best and cleanest tropical fish store that I have ever been in!
Great place and people /business
It was our first time going into the store to buy an assassin snail. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable we ended up spending close to $100.
Found this place by accident. We loved it. Very clean and the tanks have natural settings and are very interesting.
This is a great store. The staff is excellent; extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If you are having problems with your tank, these guys will get it perfect. New tank, they have all of the supplies you will need. They have a great selection of healthy, beautiful fish. Give these guys a try, you will not be disappointed.
I recently bought an aquarium as a gift to my husband. We were looking to buy fish from a local fish store. This store is somewhat hidden, but it’s the best fish store I have been in the U.S. The owners are very professional and knowledgeable in the field and this is definitely the right place to go to in case you are a beginner. The store is meticulously clean and their aquariums are super well-kept. They look like works of art. The fish are brightly colored and super healthy. The prices are very reasonable as well. We will definitely come back for new fish and aquarium related supplies.
Always very helpful and patient. Very knowledgeable staff. We know nothing about fish and rescued some & they are still going strong 10 months later. Anything weve needed weve gone here for advice.
I have lived in Gilbert and have been in the nature aquarium hobby since ‘95, maybe one of the first in Az...But have never seen a shop in AZ that compares in quality, design, and supplies as this store does. Aqua Touch in Phx (now closed), was a fairly close second, but ANA is heads above anything I have been to within 500 miles. Super store for not only the advanced hobbyists but certainly for simply getting into the hobby for the first time!
The fish tanks here are extremely beautiful and sparking clean. My daughter was able to get all of her questions answered about starting a new tank. We will definitely be returning to purchase plants and fish once her tank is ready.
Getting into aquascaping, and this place is pretty good considering how the market affects brick and mortar stores. Most of the stuff to be purchased here isnt priced at an obscene margin (CO2 cylinders not withstanding), so I dont really mind paying a little extra to get things in person there.Ben I believe his name was, is always super helpful when I go in there. He strikes a reasonable balance between selling me something and actually providing useful insight. It helps that they dont seem to stock anything of an inferior quality so its really ultimately on the consumer to assess and choose what is best for their goals given what advice and insight they can offer, which is substatial. They have a very broad selection of livestock and plants to choose from. Im new to this obviously but I didnt realize blue shrimp were a thing, but here I am commenting about it.They have all the filtration and CO2 diffusion equipment you could really need. They even have all the cool-guy gucci-tier clear in-tank components. They have all the substrate, supplements, and additives youll need, and they can talk you through the use of it all. They have a lot of different hard scape elements to choose from, from numerous different woods and root elements, to rocks of all sorts.I havent really looked into their lighting solutions, but at a glance they seemed to be priced competitively enough. If they could adjust the margins on stuff like CO2 cylinders to be at least halfway competitive, Id change my rating to 5 stars. Mind you this is a minor grievance and most everything else is priced competitively.Highly recommend.
I discovered this place several months ago and just got back into the hobby. I have to say that all the advice I have received from them has been great and helped out tremendously. Their prices are a little more the other place but you get what you pay for, quality over quantity.
Great info on all fish and great staff
AWESOME store! Very clean and pleasing to the eye. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Love this place.
I live in Phoenix and just stopped in here on a whim while in Tucson. This is the cleanest and nicest tropical fish store I have ever been in. Great selection, good prices on some things, slightly pricey on others but you can tell every animal, plant and product in this place is properly cared for and maintained. If I lived in Tucson, this would be my LFS of choice. Highly recommend!
This is THE local fish store to shop at in Tucson.
The store it self is well kept, and clean. The fish and plant life look great. I just wouldnt recommend this store for begginers. I havent spoken to all the staff, but the one I did was condescending and not very encouraging or helpful. I just feel like this store has a great opportunity to educate customers on how to do things well, without making people feel like they cant ask a question without feeling judged or less than. We all have to start some where, and maybe its just not at this store.Your reply in itself is even condescending. If you look at some of your other replys to other comments from customers, you can see the common tone. I think in one comment you even stated you are mostly friendly. Plus the poor lady that bought the wood for her tank. You went off on a rant and put her down. Even if her tank plummeting had nothing to do with boiling the wood, have some respect for people who are not as experienced as you. She even gave you 4 stars!Im sorry customer service is including in your stores rating, and that upsets you. I could help you with learning how to write replys that dont disrespect people or help teach you how to speak to people who are less experienced in this whole aquarium world. Let me know, I would be happy to help. :)Also, just because someone acts friendly towards someone who is being condescending or rude doesnt mean they enjoyed their experience.
They have wonderful people, happy fish, and fair prices. I love it there.
THE best place for plants, unique fish, good products and very educated, informed staff. Ive had tanks for 20 years, never had a problem with water quality, water readings went haywire for some reason, called them up, she stated to bring some tank water to be tested, pictures of my filtration system and go from there. After testing the water thoroughly, the came up with a plan of action, showed me the products I needed and was very detailed and specific and what else I should do. I am very grateful that he actually spent time with me gathering info and discussing treatment, I didnt feel like all my questions werent answered, rushed etc. In no way am I implying that staff in franchised pet stores are not educated or informed, I just personally feel that since theyve been doing this for such a long time, that theyve seen almost everything and have tons of experience. Not to mention how clean the store is, the fish are very well taken care of, just looking at how they maintain the tanks, you know that its quality product. I highly recommend them.
Just went in today for the first time. Small but beautiful store. They have some rare fish I’ve never seen. All the tanks look like display tanks. Just beautiful. Walked out happy with my purchases!
Bought a piece of driftwood from here, thought it was clean enough to put into my tank. It released nitrate toxins which almost killed my fish. Had to clean the whole tank out, and give my fish a chlorophyll bath. I liked this place, but I wish they were more informative with me. I had no idea that I was supposed to clean, and boil the driftwood first before adding it to my tank. However, even when I did that, the nitrate levels were still toxic. Just a little heads up to future customers, always research everything, and listen to your intuition. Peace.
They have a nice selection but very few basic resources for a tank
First found the store about a year ago when I got back into the hobby a fish keeping.DONT BUY YOUR FISH ANYPLACE ELSE.They quarantine all their fish for several weeks before putting them on display. Before I found this place I had purchased fish from another local fish store and had problems with disease. You should never have a problem when purchasing your fish and plants from here.In addition their tanks are absolutely pristine. They also have their stock on different filtration systems which mimic different water quality types depending on how you want to keep your tank.I got the most beautiful piece of Driftwood there and they told me how to completely prep it. It took about a month to prep it before putting it in my tank and it was worth the wait. I cant say enough good things about the integrity, the caring of the animals, and the dedication to education of the staff and owners. This is a true Gem of a local business.
I enjoyed this aquatics store. Very professional and I love the way items are displayed. If youre into aquatics youll love this store!
Very nice place! The fish all look super healthy and very active. The quality is great and so are the prices. I would look into coming to see for yourself if you havent checked it out yet
Great place for rimless tanks or custom made good quality fish
Most clean aquarium store I’ve ever been to by far. The selection of fish and hardscape it more than amazing and plentiful. The way they sell specific items like gravel, acorn tops and filter media is so creative and it lets you get the exact amount you want. Im definitely coming back.
First off, I have to say that I have been in the hobby for a while, but decided I wanted to try keeping live plants as well as fish this time around. I did my research and shopped around for a while before making any purchases. During this process I visited every pet store in Tucson and a few in Phoenix and I can say that without a doubt this place has the cleanest tanks with the best looking fish and highest quality plants, aquariums and supplies. This place is the Ferrari dealership for freshwater aquariums, fish, plants and supplies.I bought my first planted tank here and all the substrate, wood, rocks livestock and supplies and the owners guided through every purchase educating me on what will work best for what I wanted. They made sure all the plants would thrive with the lighting I purchased and all the fish and shrimp were compatible and would not eat my plants or each other. They also recommended that I cycle my tank before adding fish and space out the adding of fish so I would not add more than my new tank could handle. While I did already know about the Nitrogen Cycle from keeping many tanks in the past, this was the first place that actually seemed to care about it and recommended adding fish slowly instead of just trying to get me to purchase as much as they could sell me right then. While I do agree that the prices are more than you would find at PetSmart, that is like complaining that a Ferrari is more than a Ford. If you want the best quality fish, plants, tanks and supplies in Tucson, then this place is for you and you will not have any problem paying what they are worth. I sure didnt. My second tank I bought online only because they did not have the specific tank I was looking for, but I bought all the supplies, substrate, wood, rocks and livestock from this place. Again they were extremely helpful every step of the way. I am extremely happy with every purchase I have made at Arizona Nature Aquatics and will continue to shop there for any future freshwater aquarium needs.I have had both planted tanks up and running for several months now and while all the plants in my first tank are growing and looking perfect, my second tank has been having problems with algae for a while now. I have tried several different things including feeding less, decreasing the amount of time the lights were on, water changing every other day, dosing Excel and so on. I tried reaching out to several different online forums and no one seemed to come up with the answers I needed. The algae was out of control and I was at the point of giving up and just removing all the plants.Last week I decided to go and ask the experts at ANA and within a half hour they had given me their advice to decrease the intensity of my lighting, (not the amount of time) and to add two new Florida Flag Fish to my community. I walked out a little skeptical that it would be that easy, but as soon as I put those little algae eating monsters into my tank they were attacking the algae like it was the best thing in the world to them. I adjusted the lighting and within a few days the algae was very noticeably going away. Today I have almost no algae and two beautiful new fish that I absolutely love.Long story short, (probably too late for that) there is no other place in Tucson that I will shop for all my freshwater aquatic needs from now on and if I ever need any help they will be the first place I go for advice. Arizona Nature Aquatics is the best of the best and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting the best.
The shop is on another level next to all the others in town. It is for the experienced aqua hobbiest.
Service was great. They answer all your questions. Very clean and neat environment. Very healthy fish and awesome planted tanks.
Just went in there not to long ago, friendly staff that greet you and offer help as you walk in! :D They have a wide selection of tropical fish, plants and DRIFTWOOD! Best prices i have yet to see on driftwood! Definitely will be a returning customer!
Bens and his wifes shop is amazing, I highly recommend his shop for all your aquatic needs, plus they take their time to help, and explain on up keep of your fish tanks.
I don’t usually write reviews for places unless they are particularly bad - or in this case, incredibly good. I could not recommend this local business more. I discovered them recently when my mom decided to get in fish (I have my own established tank) and I don’t think we’ll be going anywhere else. The owners are so helpful, knowledable and caring. I truly enjoy their store and the obvious quality of care that goes into their fish.5/5 - I would recommend Arizona Nature Aquatics to anyone who asked me.
Went in for help with aquarium, very knowledgeable staff. Tested my water, diagnosed the issue, and taught me how to resolve it. Its kind of a hidden spot which is actually nice because even on a Saturday it wasnt very busy and the staff took the time to help me. Highly recommend.
Ben and March have helped me on my fish journey from the very beginning giving me suggestions and advice along the way. They know the type of fish I have and can recommend new fish that get along well with my community. Their planted aquariums are beautiful and a good reason to stop by and look around.
Best tropical fish and aquarium store in Az no question
Great aquarium shop, fish all look healthy and happy. Plant sock is exquisite. All the tanks are perfectly cleaned and scaped. Large selection of scaling supplies, fertilizers and supplements. Very good prices on driftwood and rock. Cant say enough good things about this store.
Great staff!! This is the CLEANEST fish store that I have ever seen! High quality fish and plants! I have my original Nerite snails and plants that I have purchased from ANA almost a year ago. I just currently purchase an Albino Bristlenose Pleco and he is doing amazing in my 180 gallon koi tank! I don’t live locally so they were able to hold my pleco until I left town! I LOVE THIS PLACE! YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS PLACE!!!!!
Super clean, friendly and helpful! Such a gem in the desert.
Great new location! Amazing place. So many beautiful tanks, all in immaculate condition. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Cant give this place enough props!
They are very helpful. Great selection of stuff for your aquarium
This is a store of perfection. The cleanest tanks I have ever seen and the most beautiful plants and healthy fish, snails, shrimp and so on. My first visit about a year ago I was astonished at how great everything looked. Being new to fish I was a little nervous about some of the prices on equipment and supplies here. However now that I have experience and have made the usual beginner mistakes I have learned that ANA offers much better quality in everything. And the little higher price is well worth it. If you love your aquarium as I do you are better off spending a few dollars more to get a great quality item or healthy pet for your tank. Also Ben and Marge are very pleasant and very helpful. They take serious care of their stock and they hope that you take great care in any or all of your purchases and are willing to share their knowledge with you to assist in that great care. I will never shop anywhere else. I have made many purchases here and have been overly joyed with every one of them. No fish losses and any equipment or supplies I have bought work exactly as it should and is perfect for my tank. I love this store.
Very beautiful store and fish, staff is helpful and very knowledgeable.
LOVE this place. Just moved to Benson and read about this place. I wanted to go ever since I hear about them. Drove all the way in to Tucson, it was totally worth it. March (owner) is super friendly, knowledgeable, and was really nice. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be back!
By far the cleanest shop I’ve ever been in with the nicest selection of flora, fauna, and decor. Team ANA is friendly and knowledgeable and have helped me out more than once by sharing what they know. As a hobbyist there is nothing better than talking fish, shrimp, and hard scapes with someone who has probably forgotten more about the hobby than I’ll ever know.Mr Honey2U
This place was very nice and intersting, I loved looking around at all the aquarium set ups. They had salt water and freshwater fish, aaquatic plants and other accessories. We were looking for fancy goldfish, their website had some listed, but they did not have any in store, looks like you can order some, but it may only be in bulk. Im not entirely sure as we ended up making a purchase somewhere else, but still a nice place to check out if you like fish and aquariums.
AMAZING!! you have to check it out!!!
These people know what they’re talking about. The space is modern and immaculate. Tanks are spotless. You’ll leave educated and inspired.
We recently made the three-hour trip down from Wickenburg to pick up a new betta tank with all the trimmings, and it was definitely worth the drive. It is a beautiful store with incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff. We had someone go over every aspect of setting up this tank one on one and left the store confident that we had the knowledge and equipment that we needed. We would recommend this to anyone interested in aquariums. Every aquarium in the store was meticulously set up and beautifully displayed.
I dont know
Excellent customer service! Just stoped in for some grass for my tank great prices and it was soooooo clean and nice GUARANTEE ITS THE BEST SHOP IN TOWN PERIOD!
My favorite guy in the fish business hides this little gem up on the north side of Country Club, well worth tracking down on the GPS. He has the most beautiful freshwater setups around, and is a true enthusiast. Warning there is no business sign, its a big airplane hanger sort of building inconspicuously shining as a diamond in the Tucson rough.
Friendly, helpful and very well-kept tank displays.
If you are a beginner to expert fish keeper. This is the place to go. If your on vacation this is the place to see. There are only a few comparable places in the country. Tucson is fortunate to have one of them.
Awesome!!!! My new favorite store:) everything is clear and healthy. The staff are VERY helpful with explaining the fish world lingo.. different types of water, how its better for the fish, its like they genuinely care about the fish and thats exactly the kind of vibe I was looking for! Thanks again guys!!
Probably the best fish store in Arizona. Great helpful staff. If you have a serious inquiry into keeping an amazing freshwater aquarium than this is the place for you. Thought this place was going to break my bank, but was pleasantly surprised with the cost of everything. Amazing display aquariums and ridiculously clean tanks. This shop has professionalism down to a t. ***WARNING*** they take their fish very seriously.
They are very smart and helpful. The best part is the fish are healthy. You dont have to worry about getting a bunch of diseased fish like you do at many other places.
Ive visited the store 4 times and I have always had a positive experience. These people know SO MUCH about keeping aquariums and have always been incredibly nice and patient even though Im just a beginner. The tanks they have at the store are beautiful and well maintained and the aquatic plants, fish and turtle are all very happy and healthy. I have purchased several aquatic plants for my tank at home and they are thriving mostly because of the advise and expertise of the store employees. They are a smaller store so they dont carry as wide of a variety as the big box stores but they more than make up for that with their knowledge, customer service, and readily apparent passion for all things aquatic.
This is hands down the best fish store I have ever seen in my entire life. I used to live in Pennsylvania and the fish stores out there were nice but they cant compare to the level of health and cleanliness that this fish store has. I have been going to ANA for several years now and I am 100% satisfied.
I only occasionally visit this store, but every time I go, the staff are courteous and helpful. The knowledge is fantastic, and they are very generous to share their knowledge so you make the best decisions for you and your fish. Thank you
