Air condition didn’t work and when we left and told them about it they were rude! Not worth $250
They use natural cleaning supplies which leaves an odor free room. My asthma is stimulated with odors so it was so pleasant to have such a comfortable room.
The pools were relaxing and the room was amazing! I loved the tub in our room, the beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We enjoyed celebrating our 2 year anniversary here!
Excellent and attentive service. Clean rooms, facilities and soaking tubs. Lots of peace and quiet from guests and staff. We enjoyed our stay very much and have already recommended it to others.
Loved the fact the pools are filled fresh after each use! The rooms a bit small but just got and about more..The staff was incredibly accomadating. Food from the restaurant was delectable a bit pricey but convenience was nice.. No complaints! With in easy walking distance of the other springs and the main drag where u can shop and try a few of the other local eateries.
Awesome spa. Staff was very attentive to the needs of those staying. Delivered breakfast. Hot spring soaks daily for free. Rooms were clean and very cool. Double occupancy at least bath tubs. Comfortable robes. Great place to stay.
My husband and love to stay at Sierra Grande Lodge whenever we are in need of a quick weekend getaway from Albuquerque. It is a beautiful facility with comfortable rooms that include a soaking tub (with shower) where you can enjoy the wonderful hot water of Truth or Consequences right in your room. However, we love the bonus hot water soak in one of their spa tub rooms that are included with each day of your hotel stay. And then the food - the blue corn pancakes that are one of the breakfast options are a perfect New Mexican treat!
Great hot sorings spa experience! Pleasant attentive staff. We recommend this-Low point: shower in room had countless long black hair all over the shower, was this cleaned before us?? Hmmm. Also the beds and pillows are Motel 6 quality. Not good. Great spa.. not so great overnight.
The property was quite, homely and had a relaxing atmosphere. No a lot to do except resting a Relaxing. The staff was awesome and the food at the restaurant was very tasty with good portions. The continental breakfast is way better than the standard continental breakfast at other hotel throughout the country. The room with a queen bed is kinda on the small side but very cozy. The location of the shower will surprise you, its directly off the bedroom and does not has its own room. The toilet and sink is in it;s own room with a door. The spa was well worth it, we had massages, facial and the mineral bath all of which were great. Overall this was a wonderful and therapeutic experience, we will definitely return.
What a fun place and the staff was amazing. As everyone is preparing to move forward with this new phase of traveling, the hotel went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.
We love coming here, just wish it were pet friendly.
My wife and I were visiting Truth or Consequences this week, and for dinner selected THE RESTAURANT AT SIERRA GRANDE. We had a really good dining experience. For starters, my wife ordered the Arugula Salad, and I ordered the Kale Salad. Both were fresh, flavorful, and with delightful salad dressings. I ordered the Rio Grande Ribeye Steak, and my wife ordered the Pecan Chile Rellenos. My steak was cooked to perfection, mouth-watering tasty and delicious. And the Chile Rellenos were equally delicious. Ambience is upscale dining, in a delightful atmosphere – we enjoyed sitting outdoors enjoying the afternoon sun and breezes. Service was very good. Definitely highly recommended.
I had no idea TRC had hot springs?!I was in the area visiting with my husband and family when I was told about the springs. Sierra Grande Spa fit us in the same day for a soak in their beautiful tub. The facilities are clean and tranquil and the staff is very friendly. We were not able to stay overnight but I would have loved to!
This is a Ted Turner property. I brought my husband here for his birthday. We had a king room, and it was perfect. Service here is excellent. The spa is very well run. I had a fantastic facial. You get a complementary soak for each day you stay, and a soak for each spa treatment. The soaking tubs are quite ample in size. There is a restaurant here as well. Complimentary continental breakfast to hotel guests. Nice but limited menus and decent wine list. No full bar here. We really enjoyed the brunch on Sunday before our departure. This was the relaxing weekend we both needed. We will return!
Very very disappointing. Not sure last time Ted Turner checked on this property. Motel 6 would have been better. Sorry I hate writing bad reviews but this was not worth the detour on a major road trip. Countryside is gorgeous. Rooms are very substandard given the way this is marketed on the internet. Small rooms. Small tv. Creepy floor boards. Shower over bath. Walked to my kids room for a shower. No coffee or even water. Not worth the detour. View from room!
We didn’t stay overnight, but enjoyed a soak in a hot pool In a private room for our party of six. Very clean, relaxing, accommodating, and friendly. Nice ambience. If I come back to the area, I would definitely stay overnight and try the restaurant.
A life changing experience!!The mineral soaks are either inside in a room resembling a cavern and has slightly warmer water, or a private outside fenced patio with a beautiful view of the sunset. Both baths have cold water and towels for your use. The hours massages are in gorgeous rooms with very padded massage tables. There is meditation music and salt lamps and candles; truly relaxing atmosphere! Left feeling ike a new person!!!Room 203 had a lovely south facing view with two twin beds, a deep set tub, and good sized shower. The floors do creak quite substantially, but its a historical building (almost 100 years old if I remember correctly). Breakfast was absolutely delicious. This will be the only place I will stay in T or C. Definitely coming back!
The hotel and hot springs were amazing. My boyfriend is in the military and is home for the holidays so I wanted to have a get away with just us. The experience wears perfect and we definitely want to come back.
We spent a relaxing weekend here. Not the fanciest place but elegant enough. Nice beds. Excellent staff. The soaks are excellent. On the pricey side but nice. Included breakfast does offer an offset to price and its not just doughnuts and coffee. Parking is a bit limited. We are looking at the other locations associated with this hotel.
Great place! The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The free breakfast was also really good and better than most free breakfast! Would go stay there again and highly recommend it
Booked on short notice and we are totally impressed! Rooms, food and facilities are top notch. The hot spring bath made for an excellent and relaxing end to a day of driving around New Mexico!
Dated property. Not much to do in TorC unless you are into the soak. Staff was nice but the restaurant service was pretty slow.
I have always loved this spa and hot springs property however, was disappointed in my last stay. Had a late night soak that was tepid at best and the pump to the springs tub rattled and sputtered like it was on its last leg. Staff was not able to schedule any body work the next morning due to limited staff so, I went down the road to another hot spring for a soak and body work the next morning.
Terrific room w/ultra thick and comfy mattress, super quiet. The included hot spring bath was the best and most amazing part of our stay. Well be back!
Relaxing place. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We had good meals in the restaurant. Great soaking tubs indoor and out. And a wonderful couples massage.
Be ready to wait. 1 hr 15 minutes from order to food. Odor in dining room. Some food cold. We were in a group but the table for two which was there when we arrived received their food only 5 min before us. Food was of ok quality. Price too high for so so quality food. Staff should keep ice water glasses filled and be more attentive.
Very polite staff. Will come back again
This older property is very nice. There could be some updates on door locks.
Love the natural spring baths!!!! Amazing!!!! I would return just for that
Get a massage. It includes a 30 min soak in the hot mineral water. So wonderful.
I have stayed there 4 times in the past years. This time, the quality of everything has declined. The landscape of the lodge was not well-maintained. The food in the restaurant was bland and they were missing a lot of items. The service and cleanliness was mediocre. The massage was great, but overpriced. It is not worth the money. For this kind of service, it needs to be less expensive.
We definitely will be back soon. Excell our expectations. Love the spa services, awesome chef, all meals were delicious and their apple pie is a Must!
The casita was amazing
Beautiful gem in the middle of no where. Food was excellent. Staff was awesome. Excellent experience overall
Everything about our stay was perfect! The casita was amazing! We enjoyed a nighttime mineral bath under the stars. There was plenty of privacy and quiet. It was a perfect day of relaxation. No electronics or distractions. My husband and I are already planning an anniversary visit.
Great restaurant and the continental breakfast was wonderful!Good beds, the tubs were amazing!
Just passing through and what a pleasant and relaxing experience. Staff was top notch friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
Great place nestled in the Southwest and gorgeous evening temperaturas. Even when passing by there is great weather year round so even during the warm summer breezes you can expect to have moments that will creat memories for a lifetime. If you are a frequent visitor then the expedienté service will have you in and out! Great place!
Great place for a quick get away. Great restaurant and wonderful facilities plus staff very attentive and thoughtful
Cute rooms, but a little small. The soaking tubs are very nice. The outdoor tub is private and very relaxing. The restaurant is delicious. Overall the hotel and restaurant are quite pricey. The included continental breakfast is actually a good value. It would be nice if they served some local craft brew considering T or C brewing is right down the street. Cool local art in the rooms too.
The rooms were ok. Nothing tremendous for the price.
The hot springs are amazing... try to book the outdoor one as much as possible. The staff is extremely helpful and care about your stay.
Our family visited during brunch (Sunday)the restaurant and we liked their patio and menu. Their prices are a little high but the food is tasty. Some plates do not include a side but they use good ingredients. We were celebrating birthdays and dessert was not included, they charged for ice cream. Overall a good experience but I wouldnt go back to celebrate birthdays in their restaurant!
We very much enjoyed our stay here! The private hot spring soaks are perfect! You receive one for every day youre there. We booked the room with the hot spring water coming directly into the room. I thought maybe it wasnt necessary since you get a soak with your room in larger soaking rooms. But I loved the old time feel and keys real keys to open our room! Very nice place to stay also if youre planning on staying longer. The staff is very accommodating!! Very clean and very relaxing!
Very nice relaxing place to stay. The mineral tubs are awesome. Rooms are very clean and comfy. The restaurant has great food and reasonable prices. Staff was friendly. Not much in T&C but we would come back again just for this spa hotel
Ask for Jennifer. An absolutely wonderful massage! I am a frequent massage flyer and this one goes on record as a BEST!!!
We stayed in the private casita . It was so nice and private .! It was a great weekend
Silverskin left on bison ribs made for some unpleasant tough ribs. Chef needs to learn basic ribs prepping techniques.
This truly is a diamond in the rough. The grounds are beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff friendly and attentive. The room was beautiful and well-appointed. Very comfortable mattress and amazing pillows. I will definitely recommend this location to my friends. Great for a romantic getaway.
Great Inn with friendly staff. Office of Ted Turner Reserves where we scheduled our full day excursion to Ladder Ranch in late April.
This place is one of my top favorites around the world. You would never expect it here. Quiet.. clean. Hot baths perfect. Staff is absolutely outstanding.
Nice location. Wish I had known about the mineralSprings soak prior to arrival.
Wonderful facility with terrific staff. Rooms are charming and large with sitting area
Food was spectacular. The chef uses seasons that will certainly entice your palate. An unexpected quaint place in a quiet town. We loved it and look to return.
Beautiful location had lunch here. Good burgers. Diamond service. Hope to stay here when we come back.
Always a first class getaway and pampering time.
This review is a long time coming! Been here several times. Staff, food, accommodations, hot springs are all top notch!!!!
Beautiful place, great service and amenities Rooms are very nice and clean
Great experience! Hot springs was amazing, excellent customer service, complimentary breakfast was great too! We will definitely be returning!
The service was not good. Tried to order a bottle of wine, after 15 min the waitress reported to us they sold out of that particular wine earlier in the day. Ordered Fried shrimp as an appetizer and when it arrived to the table, after another 20 min, it was raw and tasted horrid. Called the waitress over to report the shrimp was not good and she was very unpleasant. Not only will I not dine at this restaurant again I refuse to stay at the lodge
Outdoor mineral bath was wonderful! Nice room, great breakfast options.
Small hot room, tepid hot springs, plumbing made loud noises, hard bed, slow service. Would not book again.
Beautiful and relaxing
Food is superb and fairly priced. Service excellent. Spa services very good. Highly recommend. Best in T or C, by far.
Nice hot tubs which were quite clean. Comfortable and clean room with good bed. Excellent breakfast included.
I had a wonderful stay at the Sierra Grande. All the staff (front desk, massage therapists and restaurant staff) were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The spa treatments were heavenly and the restaurant outstanding.
We didnt stay at the hotel but ate brunch there on a Sunday morning. We sat in the patio area and enjoyed the wonderful food.
Awesome experience! Dining at Sierra is a must!
Very clean. Everyone was very friendly. Had an awesome time⚘
Such a cute place! Very quaint and homey feel to the rooms. Kitchenette came in handy and the hot springs tub was fun! Will be back!
We come to Sierra Grande 2 or 3 times a year for the 2-night Romance package. It is the perfect weekend getaway. Awesome room, great soaks, relaxing massages and a really good restaurant. Love this place!
The hotel staff was very helpful. Our waitress was not very friendly. The toilet paper was cheap.
This place is so beautiful and relaxing! I am a local and have never stayed the night here or had a massage, but I have soaked in their hotsprings and regularly come here to eat and drink coffee. They have both coconut and almond milk available which is awesome! There food is delicious and fairly affordable. It is also decently portioned. The wait staff is amazing! Ronda is such a joy and always carries such a peaceful and kind presence. I love to go here in their slow days to study and enjoy some coffee. Very beautiful space. I would recommend it!!
Excellent Resort with a caring, quiet staff who are wonderful people truly from the maintenance and cleaning crew to the front desk hotel staff, masseuses to the general manager who has a keen eye for perfection and whom the staff speaks highly. We stay in a hotel about a week /a month through the year at least. This resort is a 4 star hotel. I compare Sierra Grande to the Fairmont, Sonoma Mission Inn in California. We stayed at the Casita and soaked 2 times a day in the indoor tub and enjoyed the beautiful newly restored tub outside in a private prettily landscaped yard. We felt we were on our on private oasis. What a Blessing.
Yummy and great service. No non dairy desserts
Given the funky nature of the town, this place stands out as rather elegant. Super attentive staff. Its all about the spa and the many private hot springs tubs on site. They fill a new tub for each 30 minute soak. Very healthy mineral bath. Ask for the outdoor one!
We have stayed with Sierra Grande multiple times now, and are always blown away by the level of service provided. The rooms are comfortable, if a bit dated, but the overall experience is 5-star. Both the hotel and restaurant staff are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay.Best place weve found to stay in T or C.
Amazing and beautiful place to have a get away with your spouse. Thank you
Excellent service from the staff. Nice clean rooms. Worth every penny. VIP treatment
We stayed there two nights. We found the noisy rooms to be only so so. Beds were comfortable but only one wooden chair to sit in. There was a massive tub that we didnt need considering there is a hot springs soak every day in the spa area for free. Strangely we were there in the winter and there was no place to sit outside that was warmed; no fire pit no outdoor amenity. But they were playing music outside like they kind of sort of wanted you to be there. The food was good; be sure to try the local specialties bison and antelope . The staff seemed stressed but passably cordial.
EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE AND THE MEAL IN THE RESTAURANT WAS SO GOOD I CANT PUT IT INTO WORDS. IF YOU HAVE TO DO ONLY ONE THING ON YOUR WAY TO SOMETHING ELSE YOU MUST HAVE A MEAL HERE IT IS SOOOOOO GOOD. MANY THANKS TO ALL THE WAITERS AND HOTEL STAFF THAT HELPED US OUT ON SHORT NOTICE AND THE MINERAL BATHS TURNED US INTO JELLYROLLS AND TO HAVE IT PIPED INTO OUR ROOMPRICELESS!!!!!!!!!WE ARE GOING BACK FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!
I had the most amazing, cant express this enough, facial. Beautiful facilities. Amazing staff. Unique, regional food. Star struck night gazing out door hot springs!
Awesome place, very nice rooms and they treat you very nice. We ate breakfast on this veranda.
The staff were very helpful and carried our bags up to ou room. The only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed.
The staff here was so friendly and inviting. The price of staying at the inn includes two 1/2 hour soaks, which is more than enough. We could not stay in the water the whole time. We did the outside tube at night, which is very Romantic with the full moon out. The indoor pools are also very relaxing.
Awesome!!! That sums it up in one word. Had the bison tenderloin and the steel head trout. Just phenomenal! Not the cheepest items on the menu but worth every penny! My wife and i will definitely be back.
