Amazing experience! The pools are very nice, great temperature options. The procedures put in place for COVID were exceptional. Social distancing and cleanliness were apparent top priorities. Beautiful scenery overlooking a nice body of water, attentive staff, very peaceful due to their whisper policy, well worth the drive!

I am a New Mexico native and have been to a handful of hot springs; one in Santa Fe, a couple near my hometown in Albuquerque, and this one in T or C. This one is BY FAR my favorite. This one is the most unique and the most MAGICAL of them all. It truly is a beautiful, magical, grounding experience. One of my favorite things about this place is that it’s located literally RIGHT on the Rio Grande River, they even have a little designated area where you can go into the river!! I also love that it’s family owned. I can not rave enough about Riverbend. The minute I step on to the property I’m instantly transported into a state of relaxation. I go every single year for my birthday because it’s the best gift. My fiancé and I love the private pools, I especially love that it’s swimsuit optional. You really get to feel one with the water that way. As women it is so important to reconnect with ourselves and with the divine feminine energy of the water. The last time we went I woke up early and went out to one of the public pools by myself. It was the most peaceful experience I’ve had in a long time. Not to mention all of the health benefits of soaking in all natural springs water. I can truly feel the difference now between hot springs water and how alive it is(!) compared to hot tub water. At only $20-$30 ($30 for deluxe) for 50 min in the private pools, you really can’t beat that price! And I’ve looked! And at only $90 a night to stay in the “artist rooms” you get complete access to all the public pools from 8am-10pm!!! It’s the best price I’ve come across to date. Do yourself a favor and come experience this wonderful hidden gem.***If you’re worried about COVID: I was too as I am immune compromised (I had thyroid cancer last year and recently finished my last radiation scan). They’re doing a great job at keeping everyone safe. They have no-contact check-in/check-out. Wristbands instead of room keys or cards that you scan to unlock your room - which I loved, it was so convenient and nice not having to worry about a key card. They’re cleaning the private pools every hour (they have a great system in place) and sanitizing all surfaces in the public pool area. They also offered hand sanitizer on the premise. I felt very safe while I was there.

Perfection. Excellent service from checking in to checking out. The serenity, ambiance, and accommodations are top notch. It is the one place my wife sincerely wishes we never had to leave, but it gives us such relaxation that it keeps us coming back for a staycation when we can get a chance to go. Pure bliss.

Love Riverbend Hot Springs! We stayed here before and after our trip at Geronimo Trails Guest Ranch (also an amazing place). The property is so peaceful! I loved the great variety of outdoor soaking pools right next to the river. Spent several mornings laying in the swing in one of the soaking pools! Our room had 2 queen beds, a full kitchen, a neat dining table inside, and a small table and chairs outside. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. I would highly recommend this place!!!

Great calming energy. The environment is pleasant and green. Everything feels so genuine and comforting. I wanted to get away from the world and this was the place to go. Great springs! Clean pools and tubs. They encourage you to keep noises down but dont really enforce it so its really on the visitors to follow policy. Unfortunately we had noisy visitors but still loved my stay. I felt rejuvenated

A wonderful oasis in the desert. Very relaxing. Hot springs pools are clean and well appointed. Beautiful surroundings, fountains and plants. Very tranquil. The response to the Covid restrictions has made the front desk experience very unwelcoming and it doesn’t need to be this way. Front desks at other places we have visited do not have sealed windows and microphones/intercom systems to chat with guests. We do recognize the importance of being safe but other options do exist.

Riverbend Hot Springs is a gorgeous and hidden gem in Truth or Consequences, NM. The location is always clean with friendly and accommodating staff. Riverbend is a days trip away from Albuquerque, and a perfect half way point between Abq and Las Cruces. A grounds pass gives you access to countless hot springs along the river, a sauna, hammocks, a shaded lounging area, and more. You can even book a hot spring in a private room for a more personal experience. All the pools are designated quiet areas, so you’ll find peace wherever you are. Stay for an hour or stay for the night, but either way youll leave better than you came.

Absolutely gorgeous! We booked an RV spot and a private pool, overlooking the Rio Grande; which was perfect for our stop along the way to our destination. The staff was incredible as well. We will definitely be back when we have more time to spend! As it turns out, the “Consequences” of staying here really aren’t that bad...and that’s the “Truth”! Thanks to all that make this place so amazing!

Fantastic experience in spite of a pandemic, the staff ensured that protocols were in place and followed by everyone. Contactless checking was easy. We felt safe and welcomed.

We had a very nice time! Wish that we were closer so that we could do this more often! Traveled over 4 hours to soak! If you plan on staying the night at the spa you should book in advance. Overall good experience!

Lovely little place to relax. The private pools are clean and comfortable. We went during summer so they had misters as well as a shower head over the pool to help cool you off if needed. Will definitely go back but next time will spend the night because we were ready for a nap after the soak.

Absolutely an amazing place to stay. This was our first time and the place was spectacular. The room was very clean we reserved two private pools and the spent the rest of the time enjoying the open pool areas. Definitely will be coming back again very soon

I didnt know what to expect. Came out with friends on a road trip, some other travellers suggested this place and boom! Amazing! Arrived right before the sunset so view is gorgeous. And super relaxing and peaceful.

We had the private 50 minute soak. Great views with hawks, fish in the river, ducks. Every thing was perfect. Live being there in the sun and look forward to trying a night or evening soak.

Very pretty and and peaceful at the springs and with all the lights at night it was stunning! Lots of beautiful plants and wildlife. My only dislike was everything surrounding the property is extremely run down and the view from my room was a literal junkyard. They do try to fence it off though and keep it as private as possible, and their property is kept very nice and clean. It was a perfect getaway and worth the money, I already booked my next trip here!

This place is awesome. I loved the artistic ambiance with the mosaic art around the premises. The public hot springs pools were beautifully constructed with rock and they were super clean. I loved how I got to jump into 6 different pools also the private pool was amazing! It was a peaceful blissful experience. We had the art room which was also nice. Small, but just right. Bed was okay but everything was clean. I would definitely recommend this place if you love hot springs!!

Riverbend is beautiful! Everything was kept up nicely, the beds are comfortable, the ambiance was amazing (with the exception of a few guests that didnt follow the whisper rule). I wish we could have stayed longer!

I absolutely love the Riverbend Hot Springs!!!!whenever my husband and I just need to get away from the normal every day hustle and the bustle that is our number one location to go. The staff is very receptive and they follow all of the CDC guidelines which is actually very reassuring considering the environment. You cannot beat the night atmosphere. We can’t wait to go back.

While we didnt find much else to do in T or C, we loved the resort. The rooms were clean and simple. The pools and patio were incredibly relaxing. I personally loved the rules to enforce social distancing as it gave us our own space and didnt feel crowded. We will be back!

I love the relaxing, meditating and almost seducing way this place just soaks you up. This pools are amazing. Some hotter than others. We enjoyed our private soak especially. The resort is peaceful and just a wonderfully colorful place. Light spa music plays at a low volume. Its whisper only and no kids. A place where you can think, come together and enjoy the nature around you. We got tons of pictures and pictures of fish and deer at river edge. I love this place and will definitely come back.

Nice, clean, cozy room. The pools were wonderful with beautiful views of the river and wildlife. Relaxing music playing and lots of comfy seating on the decks... Too bad we came in the dead of winter and it was too cold to sit outside and enjoy them! Beautiful at night also. We truly enjoyed our time here. They have private pools you can rent but the public pools were just perfect and not overcrowded at all.

It was an amazing experience! We absolutely loved our stay and most definitely loved the experience in the Hotsprings pools and private pool. We have been telling everyone and we definitely want to go again. Hopefully sooner then later for sure! You must go and experience it yourself. Perfect way to get away from all the current stresses we are all living. Let me tell you, We absolutely appreciative of the steps they took to make us feel safe with all the COVID safety precautions. They made it so easy to ck in and out contact less keeping in mind social distancing. I felt so safe! Thank you all for that as well. Incredible place, we will definitely be back! The property went above and beyond in communication before our stay, and had excellent regulations in place to protect customers during the pandemic. Clean and secure, easy contact-less check in process, pools were never crowded, great attention to detail, wonderful relaxing ambiance, and the waters were very healing.

The moment you get there, the atmosphere is relaxing. Its a beautiful place all around. I reserved the Navajo room. The water is a mild temp so it was perfect for me.

Just went for my wifes 30th birthday. It is our second time there and just like the first time it was amazing. We stayed at the Casita and it is well worth the price. You have access to your own private pool for your entire stay which u can fill up at anytime. We are definitely making it a yearly tradition to go. We always enjoy our stay.

That is one shockingly hot pool of water, and of course we got the hottest one they had so it certainly lived up to expectations. One of the best calming experiences we had in the state of New Mexico for sure.

Super cute and relaxing! We had a smaller room but it was still tasteful and well kept. You can go into the hot springs, into the Rio Grande, or rent a private spa. It is also dog friendly!! They have dogs cabanas where pets can be near the pools to hang out with you while everyone relaxes.

Awesome getaway! Quiet and secluded hot springs on the bank of the Rio Grande in Truth and Consequences, NM. Great place to unwind, decompress and relax. This is a quiet place so conversations are to be kept to a whisper. The staff, amenities and facilities were superb. We had a great time and plan to go back.

Ive visited the hot spring at Riverbend a couple of times and have always had the best customer service! Upon making reservations, Payton was so incredibly helpful and kind in accommodating our party. She has the best customer service skills. We love coming here and will continue to be faithful customers! Both the private and public pools are incredibly beautiful and have amazing views of the Rio Grande. Highly recommend!!

Peaceful, relaxing and private. Due to Covid-19 changing rooms are not available you are allowed to change in the bathroom however it in only one stall, so you may have to wait a while. Other than that the experience was great.

We booked this stay last minute because our anniversary was coming up. We celebrated 8 years on the 12th and it could not have been a more perfect, calming atmosphere! We slept beautifully. We’ve not been so relaxed in quite some time. We reside an hour outside of T or C and after staying here, even if we lived across the country we’d still come back repeatedly! We will definitely be returning. Everything was absolutely beautiful, the lighting at night was PERFECTION! It’s amazing that this is so close to home but feels like we’re on a different planet. We travel quite a bit and stay at resorts that are extremely pricey, this facility is on par with the high end places we’ve stayed for a fraction of the cost. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Very strict cancellation policy and theyre obviously making a killing. I think it should be a case by case basis and maybe a fee considered instead of just absorbing a prepaid reservation. Ive been going to this place long before before it was fancy but Ill be exploring other options.

It was truly relaxing and an amazing experience. Its incredibly beautiful. I will definitely be coming back. The only slight mishap in my room was that there were some spiderwebs left on the ceiling of my room. I was on the look out for spiders. Other than that I enjoyed my stay here.

This place is PHENOMENAL! Highlight of my trip through New Mexico so far. Very peaceful and luxurious and not very expensive. Staff is friendly and professional. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. We stayed in an RV spot. They are a bit tight but you have full hookups. There is no dump station. I will be back for sure, I can see this being a regular destination vacation for me.

Definitely the best in the area! The private pool was so worth it but unfortunately we couldn’t access the public pools due to covid!

Decent atmosphere and a great experience if youre going by yourself but the private pools have such a strict quiet policy that you cant even have a decently quiet conversation without being politely asked to shush.

This is the best vacation Ive been on. Its close to home and such a nice experience. I cant wait to come back I love it. I went during COVID though so it was extremely quiet and not very many people at all, we had a private pool to ourselves all day. Im not too sure how its going to be when the ban is over though. We spent the night and enjoyed both the public spas and a private soak. The room was clean and comfortable. The spa area was so beautiful and relaxing. Being a whisper only zone, you could truly take in the atmosphere and enjoy the healing soaks. The nighttime soaks were so beautiful with all the twinkling lights and coyotes yipping across the river. I am most definitely coming back.

This place is very relaxing. You can choose to rent a place to stay which come with use of the hot springs but it is not private or you can rent the use of one of their private springs which vary in cost. I recommend bringing your own towel as they rent theirs for $2.00, or a robe. They do have places for you to change as well as shower. The people that work here are very nice and helpful. The view is beautiful fr ok m any pool that you use especially @ sunset. You have a wonderful view of the river and I believe you can tube down it during the summer. Keep in mind because its a relaxing place they have a whisper rule in effect so you have to be quiet. I believe they should have specific days/times that they should enforce this because it feels like your restricted on your talking.Either way it was a great experience and I would go back. We didnt have reservations driving through town but was able to get an hour soak in their private hot spring pool for $30 and it was well worth it for me and my wife! We would go multiple times a week if we lived closer.

I would give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the people next door to us (right side) who were talking most of the time. For some reason they must have thought since they had a private room they could blab the entire time without considering the policy of whispering only! Since some people do meditate in their private rooms. We could hear them over the waterfall noise. Signage says whisper. In the private rooms, you get about 50 minutes of time & you have to be out of there 10 minutes before the next hour as they need time to clean for the next guests coming in. You can text the front desk for non emergencies, maybe for those patrons who just cannot stop talking. We only had 50 minutes. It’s something we shouldn’t have to deal with. The views along the river are lovely, calming. The hot springs felt healing & relaxing. The water was sparkling clean and the temperature was perfect, hot, but not too hot. We took a quick tour around the common area and it was quiet there, peaceful, very Zen, with gorgeous views, places to lounge and relax along with a variety of hot springs to choose from. With a property pass for the hour, you have access to the hot springs, sauna, tea and coffee, lounging areas. You can pay for more than one hour. It’s about $15 per person on weekends and $12 per person on weekdays per hour (common areas). Check it out, and Zen out.

Riverbend is definitely an oasis in the desert. The pools are clean and beautiful and the staff are super helpful. The grounds are lovingly and creatively designed. It has such a sweet and healing feel and energy. One of our favorite hot springs anywhere.

Amazing, we got the apache private room. It was 45 dollars for an hour. The public lounge and pool areas are also amazing, 12 dollars an hour for those. Go during the sunset hours, so beautiful. Great place for a date.

I only participated in the hot springs but enjoyed them immensely. My room was warm and the addition of a cool water rain shower was very thoughtful and welcomed.Thoughtful is the key at this facility. They’ve seemingly thought of everything for you. They enforce a whisper policy which is super nice and builds a calming atmosphere. The clock on the wall to remind you when to get out is also super helpful. The room was private, clean, and relaxing. The view of the river was really great even at night. Also it was clear on our visit and we could see the Milky Way some what.I highly recommend this place. Super nice. The only odd thing is that the bathrooms are locked ? Strange. I’m sure they do it for a reason.

Wow, what an unreal experience. We stayed in La Casita, and it was the most relaxing vacation wed had all year. We did a lot of evening soaks in the public springs, which were so relaxing and serene. The service we received was exceptional and consistent - we visited the front desk a few times and each staff member was wonderful. This was a truly memorable experience, cant wait to do it again next winter!

Dreaming place! Beautifully decorated, flowers and butterflies, great and kind staff. We stayed two nights and had nearly three whole place just for us for a few hours . Swimming in the Rio Grande was such an experiment and soaking ponds are beautiful and peaceful.

Public pools were clean, hot, and had lovely views. Plenty of water and ice available and they come to the pools to fill you cup for you. Beautiful landscapes everywhere and a very relaxing vibe to the place. I also rented a private pool and the experience was serene. Worth every penny!

I believe there are different prices for their private pool and for couples. Cant sing enough praises about Riverbend! Beautiful and well kept grounds, some of the cleanest rooms weve ever stayed in, super friendly & helpful staff, oh and THE POOLS! Relaxing and sublimely divine to say the least. We stayed for a night, then had to come back 10 days later for another round. It wont be our last for sure. Come stay here & unwind, you wont regret it!

We were there at the end of the phase 2 stay at home orders. Staff were excellent in keeping everything clean. It was perfect Conditions for guests only being partially opened- only the private pools were available & assigned.The private pool TEWA had very loud females for 2 of our visits. Oh well! Some people can’t read your rules .Outstanding relaxing - we will return, we stayed in the RV park this visit

Best for their views. Cute private patios with your own hot tub looking over the river. I love the cold water shower head over the hot tub to cool you off. The waters are great they just do not help with my pain like Black Stone does. But if your not in pain or have health issues you cannot beat the views!

We came to Riverbend the first time about two years ago. I am from Kentucky and was out visiting family in New Mexico. We rented the casita out back and enjoyed the most amazing two days. TONS of room in the house and our own grill and outdoor seating area. Soaking in the pools is relaxation unlike anything else. It’s gorgeous, the staff are kind, thoughtful and helpful. We go every time we are out here to visit. When someone asks me where my favorite place is I tell them about Riverbend Hot Springs in T&C. Thank you for having us, and we can’t wait to visit when you reopen.

Heavenly!!! I would give it a thousand stars if I could. Staff is great and friendly. Resort is clean and orderly. Always fresh coffee for the guests every morning. The ultimate are their natural hot springs to soak and wash your cares away. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. The hot spring pools sit along the Rio Grand with the sound of water falls from them puts you in a trance. It was total serenity and tranquility rolled into one. An absolute must for couples or someone who just wants to get away from it all.

Nice outdoor space, the private soaks are the way to go. I really enjoyed the hot springs in Colorado and have been searching for a comparable soak with no success.Hard to tell if these are true mineral pools as I didnt feel the same relief in my body after a soak here. The facility is very clean and private. Bring your own towels and H2o as these are premium charges if you didnt bring.

The views were beautiful and the hot springs were great. We didnt realize you had to bring your own towels or rent towels, but the rentals were affordable. You are required to shower before entering the springs then wait in a yurt area until your hot spring room is ready. There are heaters in the yurt that seem to run during colder days. Good experience overall!

Its about an hour away from las Cruces, in a little town. If youre into hot springs it definitely worth checking it out.We had our own private room, they can accommodate groups of two or three, we were 5 so we had to split which wasnt ideal.Another issue is that after showering you have to meet up at the gazebo, which is probably fine when the weather is nice but the day we got there it was freezing cold and we had to wait for 10-15 min in our swimming suit after taking a shower. The heat lamp didnt work either.I would wait for warmer weather if I would go again.Once in the warm water it feels great. The view from the tub is great, you can see the mountains and the river, though we spend most of our time submerged to keep warm.The place and change room were clean which was great!

Such an amazing experience. The whole place is really organized. There’s a place for you to change. You can shower that way you can go clean into the water. Once you get into the location where the tabs or you are able to whisper with your friends but you need to keep it quiet. The scenery is gorgeous. The key to a place like Riverbend is good management and maintenance, and they do both very well. It is managed like a spa, so everyone minds their own business and is respectful. The facility is well designed and each private spa is somewhat unique. I cannot speak to the hotel, but the thermal spa is excellent, and each riverside tub has a slightly different temperature. The water itself feels fantastic and you WILL be rejuvenated.

This place is just so amazing and very very relaxing. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway especially in the winter months. The water is naturally very hot and New Mexico weather is very hot during the summer in this area.I went during the summer and it very hot between the water and the temperature outside so you have to be sure that youre very well hydrated.Def will be back in the next few months.The rooms in this place do get pricey which is a bit absurd but if you book far enough in advance they seem to have rooms available.

Several pools of varying hot temperatures and a super relaxing environment. In fact, it seemed that the most important rule was whisper! which I was completely happy with. Very cool environment with a beautiful sky. Also, the proprietor was fantastic, just super laid back and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic staff and an even better location! Absolutely loved the private baths! We enjoyed the Apache and the Rio. Both were fanstatic in their own right

What an amazing place to go! The staff are always awesome and courteous! The private pools are an awesome experience, complete with cold water showers, Fans,Misters and Lights! All for 30 Dollars an Hour! Love coming to River Bend Hot Springs!
