So I used to shop at Hobby Lobby, but when my mom found out she said theyre a bunch of hypocrites who dont care about womens health. So now Im only allowed to shop at Michaels and other craft stores. Anyways, Michaels was excellent! The prices are just as good and the atmosphere is inspiring. I found the canvass I needed and my picture turned out perfect, Ive attached a photo.

Clean store, usually a good selection of whatever craft is needed. The lines usually long but the staff is great. Even though theyre usually very busy theyre so helpful.

If youre looking up a review of Michaels, you already know how fun it is to shop here. You may not know youre into crafts and decor until you get here.Theyre more pricey than Hobby lobby and Big Lots though.

The associate checking me out was incredibly nice! When I showed a 15% coupon that wasnt scanning correctly, she got the manager and then proceed to rescan everything all over again to manually enter in the coupon. Will be going back soon!

This store is the closest to my house but I’ve been avoiding it more and more because the employees are so rude every time. I understand being short staffed, but I waited for 10 minutes for someone to help me get something off the top shelf, only to walk out and see the employees gossiping and laughing with each other. I was in a hurry so I tried to grab it myself and then the girl finally came down the aisle and scolded me for trying to grab it and was unnecessarily rude.This is the 4th time in 3 weeks I’ve had a negative experience at this location. With so many Michael’s stores around, I’ll be dodging this one in the future.

The Michaels on 14 Mile in Troy is huge! They everything that I needed & more--excellent selection of items. Handicapped accessible. Handicapped scooters available

I place good reviews as much as bad reviews. The only thing I like about this store is there merchandise. They have the rudest employees along with management. No one goes out of there way to help customers and they are always under staffed. Every time I have to go there because I need something I cant find elsewhere I cringe. Now that we have to do curbside pickup things are even worse. Its been four days since I ordered a wood plaque and paint, and they have no idea when it will be ready for pickup.The Michaels on Coolidge is much better but they dont keep the same stock. What Troy needs is a Hobby Lobby. There management is all about customer service. This is just my point of view of what Ive personal experienced and seen. Very disappointing!

Decent store with decent stock. Only thing keeping it from five stars is lack of cashiers. Only one cashier so there was a bit of a wait.

Ive never had a bad experience at this location. Friendly, patient and helpful staff.Returned some items that were purchased online because they werent what I was looking for and, the manager suggested something better to use instead and she was right.

Love their selection of picture frames and matting. WAAAY better than any Joanne Fabrics. However, they never seem to have enough people at the register and the line is always long no matter when I seem to go.

The flowers are expensiveive for the quality but with the sale its great. Michaels use to be my favorite craft store but I like them all for different reasons. Id say I like Michaels for the kids crafts the most.

I’ve been going to this location for a few years now and have absolutely loved it until now. I have a small business in which I tend to use a lot of epoxy. I try to keep it in stock. I purchased some epoxy maybe two weeks ago. I grabbed it from the section I normally get and went about my day. I went to use my epoxy early yesterday morning and realized it was the wrong one. No big deal, error is definitely my fault. I do an online purchase for the correct epoxy so Can go straight into the store get and leave. I ordered my epoxy before the store opened (7am) and never received an email saying that my order had been picked. I called the store at 1pm and was told to call back in a few hours which I did still nothing. I told the staff I needed my item immediately so I was told to just come to the store. I pick it up, go home look in the bag. It’s the wrong epoxy AGAIN. I call to speak with a manager and was immediately told the item I wanted was actually out of stock. If that was already known why was I given the an item I didn’t purchase! Fast forwarding to today. Even though yesterday’s online service was HORRIBLE I decided to give it another try seeing that I work a 10 hour shift my order of 3 items should definitely be ready when I get off. I just called. Do you think my order is ready??? Smh. This place is a joke now. Don’t know if they’re under new management or something but I’m not happy with them anymore. I’ll be shopping at another location after today!!!

Went there June 9th around 4pm. Needed help finding an item, could only find one employee on the floor and her mask was pulled down and hanging around her neck. The cashier was also doing the same, had a mask but it was draped around her neck. It’s still a requirement. Walked out.

Came there to pick up some expensive markers for my girlfriend for Christmas. Service was top notch, as they led me to what I wanted and they led me to a good coupon deal for it. The workers were all very courteous and thus I enjoyed my time there. I would highly recommend shopping there for art supplies.

Went in looking for mechanical pencil lead and was shocked to find there is 0 selection. And the art supplies I did find are overpriced compared to Hobby Lobby and Amazon. Im giving the 3 stars for the very kind and helpful staff.

I wish that they would have a bigger and better yarn selection. I go to Joanns for most of my yarn because of that reason. But sometimes theyll have a good deal on stuff. And the cashiers are nice.

I always end up buying more than I planned, thats just how craft stores are. This Michaels is set up really weird, it used to be better at the previous location. Its still hard to find what Im looking for each time (which makes me spend more money) I only ever get asked if I need help while Im actively looking at something, never when Im helplessly wandering the store looking for what I need. This store is also INCREDIBLY HOT AND STUFFY. Im sweating bullets by the time I get to the register where the only AC in the store is.

Its a nice store. Understaffed in my opinion.But everything is nice and clean. Lots of art supplies,frames,seasonal items. The prices are ok. But if you bring the coupon they are great! I have never really had any major issues here. I would recommend it if you are in need of craft supplies. Perhaps you would like a new skill? This would be a good place to look.

One of my favorite stores, I love doing arts and crafts and decorating so I frequent this place often. love when they put the coupons out, cause that helps you get good deals, wish they would do those more often. Cause somethings can be expensive without coupons.

As always, Michael is the place to go, when you need anything, arts and crafts. I like to teach my granddaughter about different geographical places, before her teacher does. Once we read up on, whatever were learning, we go to Michaels and create a project. I can always find everything we need there. Good job Michaels. You are an Award We.

The first thing I asked was Do you have access to my Beaumont records?. I was told they had access to my Beaumont medical records. Then after waiting 45 minutes they tell me they cannot verify my insurance.In fact they do not have access to Beaumont medical records and told me they would set me up on self pay. Thanks for nothing, at that point I asked for my cards and left.I will never go here and will tell everyone I know not to go here.If they had access to Beaumont records they would know I have the insurance I presented.If there was a no star option I would have given that.

My favorite time of year is when they have the Halloween stuff. They always are running great deals on things that are useful from crafting to home supplies decor. It has a large assortment of things for crafters and the staff is usually friendly. It is well worth checking it out of you have the time or interest.

We got to a class at 11:45..the classes start at 10:00 and end at 12:00. The instructor was very accommodating. Youre supposed to get there by 11:30. Advice..avoid traffic..take the streets.

Found what I needed, but stores atmosphere has definitely changed. Spent first 10 minutes looking for someone to assist me. I hate the they too, have cut staff tremendously. I think it shows on those who work there. I dont stop in like I use to.

This store is very understaffed. There were 20 people in line at the checkout with 1 cashier. There was a 2nd cashier but she was taking phone calls from people too lazy to come to the store themselves to see if they had an item . This cashier, instead of putting people on hold or telling them it was too busy in the store, left the checkout counter several times to go find items for the people on the phone. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER IN FRONT OF YOU BEFORE CUSTOMERS ON THE PHONE! Twenty people were in line waiting to GIVE YOU MONEY, yet you thought the person on the phone, who may or may NOT come to your store, was more important. I was also told I could only pay for a gift card with cash. WTF? The next day I went to the Michaels at Rochester and Avon - 4 registers open, no waiting, AND I could use my debit card to pay for a gift card. I will NEVER go to the Troy store again.

Its ok. Its a typical Michaels....I just kinda wish they would stock they shelves. I understand if they dont have enough employees to stock the aisles I just wish what I went in there to look for was stocked.
