Central Park

Nice and quiet. People taking walks and dogs on leashes. Sunny but pretty cool at 4 p.m. quite a pleasant place.

Clean quiet restful, needs more benches.

If you’re trying to get one last instance of altitude training in CO this is a great paved path in southern CO. One lap is about .65 miles and I ran 3 big laps with one small one to run over 2 miles. It’s a good park with a nice small lake. I went to a park in Pueblo and Waldenburg and this was the only one that met my paved trail criteria. I’m glad I found this hidden gem and got one last altitude work out before driving back home

Nice, enjoyable, small and convient park. Fantastic to bring a you child to to learn how to fish in a great small pond that is usually stocked with fish. Also fantastic for running which is what I use it for primarily, full track around the park is measured for 1 mile, so its great for a timed mile and and for continuous running, not to mention a great open soccer/recreation field and a nice kids park and swings right next to it

Beautiful little walk to do with the pandemic going on. Get you outside without feeling like you have to go for a hike.

There is a parking lot to the west of park, accessible off Smith Street next to All That Is Energy. I stop on this parking lot often, too eat a burrito from Habaneros or a sandwich from the Whistle Stop

We went there for family friends graduation and it was nice. Very clean and beautiful it was hard to hear though.

All the parks in Trinidad are safe; however, this one is the most safe-IF you know what I mean...

My kids love it there! I like the new ground they switched for the rocks or sand they had at the playground there.Its a good place to exercise specially with the little exercise stations that stand there, showing how to use the equipment and giving ideas what more you can do.of course I love the pond in the middle,its so beautiful and I like to see if I can get a peek at the turtles or fish that swim around in there! Me and my kids also enjoy the dragonflies there and the ducks!

I love this park, I stop here every time I come to Trinidad and walk my dogs around the pond. Its a beautiful and peaceful place to walk and bring the family and pets!

I am from out of state and I am really impressed with the park. Great walking path where you can see people fishing and ducks swimming around the fountains.

One of the best parks in Trinidad and a great ballpark and grandstand. Home of the Trinidad Triggers. Plenty of room to do anything you would want to do in a park.

Decided to enjoy today at the park with my to Fur Babies! Throwing the ball around and play chase. Park is super clean, very nice landscape...the pond is extremely soothing, makes for relaxing time; a little off color but nothing to be discouraged about. Unless you plan on swimming in it. The tresses give off a good amount shade and is very cool with the breeze. Theres a Baseball field or 2 looks great and clean. Overall totally love this place to just be outdoors. Ohh also theres a nice trail loop around the pond.

Big park with walking path and excercise stations. Small pond, possibly stocked for kids to fish. Playscape. Bathrooms are old and tired.

Came down for blues show... Fantastic event.

Tried to park in the parking lot and was met by a very rude lady working the baseball game. When I asked a question she snapped at me. This is paid by the city so why cant I park here to let my children go fish!!!!

No public restrooms! (Closed for the winter)

Loved the area. Very active with lots of friendly people. Would have stayed longer, but it was our first experience traveling with our 7month old puppy.

I love the lake/pond in the back. It is nice to walk around the park on a cool evening.

Nice park, stopped to watch the ball game, but the kids had to use the bathroom and unfortunately, the bathrooms up near the parking lot were locked and the water fountain didnt work. Im not sure if there were any other bathrooms closer to the field, but I wouldve had to go down steep stairs to find out and due to a disability, I wasnt able to, so we had to leave.

The Trinidadio was as always held in the Trinidad city park. The blues festival great guests and great audiences. A whole day of blues, dancing and singing. Food vendors beer and cocktail vendors and some other vendors clothes,art,ect. Its always good music food beer and people lots of incredibly happy people!
