Deirdre did an amazing job this past Friday! We had done an outline for my tattoo pre-covid and I came back and it was as if we started right where we left off! She and the staff there are fantastically talented with their craft and are super friendly and personable. I trust their decisions with ideas for tattoos and they went above and beyond my expectations with great prices. Covid-19 safe, they take every precaution to ensure the safety of their guests. Im super happy with their approach to safety, the unique personalities, the artwork, and the vibe of the building. Amazingly clean shop, up to date on COVID protocol, and so so so detail and customer oriented! Every artist there has a range of styles they excel in. They also have a wide variety of styles and brands of jewelry to purchase, and very cost friendly with the quality of what you’re getting. I got a beautiful wizard toad a few weeks ago and couldn’t be happier with everything about the shop!

I can in with my sister to get matching tattoos, and they got us in same day! We both got tattooed by different artists, and both tattoos came out perfect!! My sister was nervous but she felt comfortable with her artist and he took his time with her. They made sure we had proper care info, and we’re really happy without experience!

My first time at this tattoo shop and lovely art gallery was amazing! I was so surprised how beautiful this place was, I was a little shocked! The staff was very friendly and professional instead of the cool guy attitude I’ve gotten from other shops. It seems that the artists can do any style well, and my artist was also friendly and entertaining, and seemed to care about my needs, which was nice! Overall I had a great experience and I never thought that getting a tattoo could be so sophisticated!, I’m coming here from now on!!

The people were cool and got I got a nice tattoo. But when I look at my bank account days later an extra $5 came out from the original $5 that I left as a tip. Am not sure why that happen. I saw on the other comments this happen to someone else. Dont really like that

Great help getting my design together from the front staff. They were able to set me up the appointment for the next day, because they were booked that day for walk-ins (come early!) but totally worth the wait! You definitely get what you pay for with tattooing, and I feel for the quality it was a reasonable price. I love my new tattoo and it was worth the wait!

I have gotten 3 tattoos at Triple Crown, all from different artists. Each one of them is amazing! All of the artists at this shop are extremely professional and personable. I always have a great conversation every time I’m getting tattooed. For my most recent tattoo, I had Dave and he was awesome! Every tattoo is high quality and worth every penny!i I will be returning for all of my future tattoos for as long as I live in the area!

My boyfriend and I have gotten tattoos done by Joe a total of three times now (1 for me, 2 for him), and each time has been spectacular. He is very caring and genuine, and you can tell he puts his heart into his work. Our tattoos always turn out incredible. We plan on coming back to get many more tattoos done by him in the future. I went here to get my tragus pierced in October, everything was fine but two weeks later I woke up and found that the jewelry had gone completely through the hole in my ear. I went back and they “fixed” it by putting in a bigger stud and told me the first one was too small even though I had asked the guy who pierced me what size he recommended and he told me the smaller one. Yesterday (3 weeks later) I was cleaning it and the stud just fell out. I ended up going to The Pierced Artist in Towson Town Center mall to get it taken out—and also re-pierced—where I was told that it was pierced incorrectly and was too far on the inside of my ear. Overall I do NOT recommend this place for piercings but if you’re looking for that service I recommend The Pierced Artist in the Towson Mall. Just wanted to leave this comment here so no one else has to go though what I did, I’m sure their tattooing is amazing this is strictly about their piercing and my own experience!

I got a nose piercing and this was the best experience I’ve ever had getting a piercing!! Other places have piercers that were kinda rude, but George is absolutely the sweetest person I’ve ever met!!! He was very considerate and talked me through everything! He explained everything very well and had no problem answering any of my questions. I love my nose piercing and I’m definitely coming back soon to get my cartilage pierced with my other friend. I came here to have my daith pierced around early August and I had such a great experience! The artwork caught my eye as soon as I started walking up the steps and I was fascinated by the art gallery concept. Having so much around to lose myself in really took my mind off of my piercing and I felt more relaxed compared to any other atmosphere I’ve received piercings in. George was my piercer and he was very kind as well as quick to answer any and all of my questions. My daith piercing is healing smoothly besides the normal issues that come with a new piercing! I loved this place and my experience. I’m ecstatic to come back in November for a tattoo :)

Really bad experience!Totally embarrassing to want to get a tattoo in honor of my son who passed away and people blocked me on Instagram for asking me how to get a tattoo in the Studio.I really appreciate it because I suddenly dont know if the job would be done professionally since there was a lack of professionalism in the first appointment.I went to the studio because there was a referral by a person who works on the site. Upon arriving at the place I was very poorly attended. The guy who attended to me and my husband gave us a business card and said to send an email and make an appointment.My emails were never answered, I sent them directly on Instagram and they didnt answer me either. I asked 2 times in the Instagram comments that I would like to get a tattoo together with my husband and they answered me like asking if I really went to this place ... Anyway, they deleted the comments on my questions about whether there is a queue and what to do to get it make an appointment. They really shouldnt need new customers. They could at least respond to those interested.

Long wait. I made my appointment on time. Sent many emails explaining what I wanted. Hoping by the time I arrived there the artist would have drawn my piece. Nope! He started drawing when I was there. Waited 2 hrs. Extremely expensive. Most painful tattoo I’ve gotten so far. This artist was so rough on my skin. Also the tattoo looks dead, with out color, as if it needed more work. Just a bad experience. Came home & immediately started thinking of ways to cover it up or find another artist who can touch it up or add more color to it. Don’t waste your time. There are artist with better skills & you would pay a lot less for a much better job.

Found this place on google and was a walk in for a nostril piercing. The place is beautiful and clean. They seem to be adhering well to Covid guidelines. My piercer Cat did a great job!

Got a tragis piercing with George. The piercing itself was great but they told me it cost $40 then charged me a $5 fee for using my card without telling me. When I called back and spoke with someone about it he just said there was a big sign on the back of the computer. Went back to pay in cash so they could refund my card and the sign was uber small. Im a little disappointed they are trying to hustle people out of extra money. I guess it wouldve killed them to verbalize the fee...

Deirdre, (shop owner,) has made a beautiful space filled with great artists who can tackle and appreciate all sorts of artistic ideas to apply to YOUR body. Definitely my go to spot for tattoos and I’ve heard great things from my friends who got piercings there also. The tattoo I got below is by Deirdre.

Ive been trying to find the right place to get my helix piercing and this was the place!!!!! They were so professional, had great prices, and wonderful atmosphere. My piercer was George, he was funny and helpful with the processes. He helped you feel comfortable and afterwards explained the best aftercare possible. He also gave the measurement of the piercing. I will definitely be coming back! Especially since my mom liked the piercing so much she wants one of her own!

I was pierced by George at Triple Crown, and I can’t say enough great things about him and the establishment!The studio is clean, welcoming, comfortable, and everyone was super friendly. There was a bit of a wait for a walk in piercing, but it was totally reasonable.George is experienced and really detail oriented. He’s got a great sense for placement and was able to make both existing and new piercings work well together on earlobes that had scar tissue from old closed up piercings. Really happy with the results! I had a great experience and will probably be back for more piercings. Now that I’ve seen the tattoo studio as well, I’m absolutely going to make Triple Crown the place I go to for any tattoo work in the future!Will be recommending this place to anyone I know!

I was looking for a tattoo parlor that does gamer tattoos for my husband, and this place came highly recommended. Not at all disappointed! It was the CLEANEST Tattoo parlor I have ever seen! Joe does excellent work! And judging from everyone else, they are great too! Im next and this is the only place I will go fantastic!

Went into to inquire about getting my first tattoo and the process/steps included. The staff was very nice and helped explained the process. After deciding to get a walk-in tattoo, I was introduced to Josh who promptly preformed the tattoo. Josh was a very friendly and amazing artist who did a wonderful job on my tattoo. Overall, the place emitted very friendly and professional vibes during the process and also practiced very sanitary procedures. I would give more stars if possible. Will make sure to recommend to friends and family as they provide very quality service.

This place is very nice and clean. I went to get my nose ring replaced. It was pierced at another shop but I didn’t have time to get to that shop. I believe Eric is the piercer here. He’s nice but completely assessed my piercing wrong and said my piercer essentially didn’t pierce me correctly. He was WRONG. Lol I’m glad I went elsewhere.My error, George is the piercer, hefty guy with a number of tattoos and piercings.In response to the shop owner, I definitely filled out paperwork, and provided my ID in which it was photocopied. I was definitely at the correct place. Nonetheless, the shop is very nice, just had a bad assessment of my piercing.

Just had my first appointment at Triple Crown, and I couldnt sing higher praises for my entire experience. When I walked in the door I was greeted by Conner and Nathaniel who were welcoming and professional and got all my paperwork sorted out.After I was done with that, I hung out in one of the most well decorated and welcoming lobbies. Honestly I felt more like I was in a swanky New York City gallery than a tattoo shop. The atmosphere was so welcoming I would gladly hang out while a friend was getting a tattoo in the lobby with all the great art or relaxing in front of the nice cozy fireplace reading a book.My artist Deirdre called me back to the tattoo area which was a more private area filled with super comfortable dentist style chairs and we started chatting about what was next on a sleeve I have been working on for a while. Not only is Deirdre a great artist but she has an awesome demeanor and a real concern for her customers.After we were all done, I went up front and paid and scheduled my next appointment and was given my after care instructions. I feel like the pricing couldnt be better. I was in the chair for somewhere between 3-4 hours and was charged $300 which is super reasonable especially considering the fact that she is a tattoo artist with 30 years experience. I cant speak highly enough for the entire experience, this shop felt more like a welcoming artist community and I loved that! 10/10 would recommend!

Yo have you seen the portfolio here?These are people that care so much about their craft that they fought to get the law changed in the area just so that they could bring it to the locals and those in the surrounding area, and youll feel it when you talk to them. The owners take tattooing very seriously and can even pull off Trash Polka, which in my opinion is no small feat to do well.Seriously though its worth stopping by, at the very least.Also its very nice inside

2 stars because of pricing. My gf was charged a different price than what she was quoted and agreed to. Payment was taken after her piercing and when she checked purchase statements there was an extra $5 added without acknowledgement. I just dont feel its honest to say one price but then charge another regardless of how big or small the increase is. Also they are expensive in my opinion...$60 for a nose piercing (regular kind, not double nostral, septum or anything). And that pricing could change if there is a jewel or not.They do not allow anyone else in the room with the person getting pierced which is weird to me since other places Ive been to do (Ive needed a friendly hand to hold for a few tattoos in sensitive spots). Wait time is crazy.... This is a different occasions where I went to get a piercing and waiting approx. 45+ minutes before I left. Maybe there was only one piercer working idk but wait time seemed a bit much and not what I was used to. Personally I wouldnt go back unless I could make an appointment and pricing is specified before service.

The shop has a beautiful atmosphere and art gallery. The employees are kind and courteous and were able to schedule me for an appointment on short notice. The artist who did my tattoo, Josh, was very gentle and was able to knock out my tattoo in what felt like less than an hour despite its size. The tattoo came out great: clean, no messed up lines, etc. I highly recommend Triple Crown to anybody in the Baltimore and Towson areas.

Most tattoo shops are very bland and unappealing, and the artists are often grouchy and/or unfriendly. When I walked into Triple Crown, I was greeted by a smiling owner, and other greetings were followed by employees and even fellow patrons. The atmosphere is very homey and comforting, I cant say enough how welcome I felt. Im always uneasy about getting tattoos, but the wonderful, friendly artists reassured my decision. I dont want to single out anyone in particular, everyone was outstanding. As for the artwork, it speaks for itself. Im not one for making promises, but as sure as I am that Im a straight white male, so sure am I that your dream tattoo will become a reality if you take your business to the fabulous Triple Crown Tattoo Shop. I knew Deirdre when she worked solely at Tattoo Paradise in Rockville and had great experiences with her, so driving to Towson from Northern Virginia was no problem for me. When you walk into Triple Crown, its instantly stunning! Ive attached the only photo I was able to grab (I was in a bit of pain from the tattoo and forgot to get more) so you can see how artistic and full of character the shop is! Walking through the shop is an absolute experience, its part tattoo/piercing business and part art exhibit. Theres a fantastic stencil wall thats a portfolio of great work to get ideas and so much art on the walls that if your squeamish friend cant sit by your side any longer, they wont be bored while waiting.Deirdre, the owner, is an absolute gem. Hands down, she is the most caring and passionate artist that Ive worked with and holy wow is she talented! She is taking a botch-job of mine and turning it into something beautiful that I can finally look at with pride. Shes a fast tattooer too, so you wont be sitting long unless youre getting half your body done. Her designs are exquisite and you CANNOT go wrong with her behind the wheel.I met Sean for the first time at my visit and he is as nice as he is a great artist! He was very sweet with the customers that I saw him tattooing and was a wonderful conversationalist to help distract me. Sunny, the local piercing professional, is very kind and I felt instantly comfortable with her. I have no reason to go anywhere else and have lots of plans for more ink. Youll never be bullied, belittled, ignored, or steamrolled here. Come make your permanent physical aesthetic decisions with people that will take care of you every step of the way. Remember: good tattoos arent cheap and cheap tattoos arent good! If you go anywhere else the first time, youll just come to Triple Crown to get it fixed anyways--save yourself some money and get it done right for a great price by incredible artists!

Very friendly and professional. Loved it!

Went in with a design. No artistry work needed. Waited an hour with an appointment. Quoted 200 for an at most 75 dollar tattoo. (pic available of this oh so super intricate, mad shading, and epic color tattoo ). Then card charged for 230 after tipping artist 20 in cash. When calling back after tat healed to dispute the 30 dollar overcharge and express disappointment over color in tat i got bs and a runaround. Towson students DO NOT GO HERE! Spend 4.20 and get on the bus and go to Howard street. A better tat for over half the price off with better detail and shading. Further, Deidre the owner will try to bs you even further with her oh were in the county routine. Screw her, ur literally 5 min from the city. Her address does not entitle her to rip off customers. A county surcharge understandable... Outright theft... No maam. Spend the 4.20 bus fare to get a better tattoo and save 150 bucks.

This place is an absolute joke. The owner is incredibly unprofessional. I went in to check it out as I too am interested in opening a shop and was verbally attacked by the owner who threatened me telling me she knows where I live. This place isnt interested in community, just making money. This industry/community shouldnt be about bashing other people and artists but thats what this shop is doing.Edit: Thanks for responding! Im not sure youre thinking of the right person. I came in to see the gallery when I was stopped by the owner who recognized me and proceeded to yell in my face. I was then taken to the back where she told another artist to come out so he too could berate me. I mentioned that I was trying to open a shop down the street after I was accused of trying to take this venue. Im well aware of how long ive been tattooing and understand that I am still learning. Im not sure where youre getting this information about me tattooing out of my moms house but I assume it has to do with you knowing where I live. Im not trying to start any problems nor have I said anything bad about the work that comes from this shop, I simply believe that people in the community should be aware of the incredibly unprofessional behavior that I experienced.Final edit: Youre still hardpressed on telling people I work out of my moms house which simply isnt true. You are continuing to do the exact thing I posted this review for in the first place. If you are so confident that I am in the wrong and came in causing a scene then post your security footage of our interaction that day so everyone has the same story. This is all I have to say and I hope you improve your demeaner in the future

It seems that making a profit and monopolizing the tattoo industry in Towson is more of a concern for this business than bettering the community. Im disappointed that my city chose these DC natives to occupy and manage Towsons only Tattoo gallery when numerous attempts have been made, over the years, by local artists. I expected the gallery to be a welcoming environment for Towson students, and a place of inspiration for up and coming tattoo artists, but the staff is unwelcoming and rude.Update: response to the owner: What!? My son is two years old, if he is doing tattoos out of my house that is certainly news to me. Someone is going to open a shop down the street from you? Thats exciting.Update: if youre in such good standing with the community and the council, you would know that councilman David Marks is also open to having other studios in the [Towson] area (Towerlight) so Im not really sure why your defenses are so high regarding prospective competitors.

My friend and I went to check out the shop and gallery, when the owner recognized my friend for being a fellow artist. After my friend was pleasant in greeting the owner, she began to get hostile because she knew my friend has had some interest in opening a shop in Towson to help grow the tattoo community. She continued to say heres the door, buddy and proceeded to berate him saying how dare you try to open a shop when Ive worked for 5 years to get this one. Very unprofessional, uncalled for and in front of potential customers. We went in to see how nice the new Towson shop was and were rewarded with disrespect for no reason other than she/they want a monopoly on tattoos in Towson and people like that should not get your business.Edit: I dont know how you got that we wanted to start trouble from what I said. She instigated it. We were simply checking out the gallery. Isnt that what galleries are for? To be looked at? How long Jamie has been tattooing is irrelevant to the situation. Just because he is newer to the industry doesnt mean youre allowed to berate him for trying to better himself and his community. We were both happy there was finally a tattoo shop open in Towson and were treated poorly, for no reason, for wanting to check it out
