Having an online sign up due to covid-19 was a wonderful idea however, I wish there were better regulations and rules in place to allow for better rotation of swimmers. Everyone from this pool community should have a chance to swim. I dont personally see the numbers, but hypothetically a few of the same people could monopolize all the time slots every week. It isnt ideal that a swimmer should have a reduction in how often they like to swim however, times are different. Fairness and kindness are still relevant.

Clean facility, staff and lifeguards are very helpful.

The plunge has been around for a long time. It’s a great place to take a swim and Torrance and has a lot of hours for lap swimming. It always seems clean and the staff is friendly. The prices are good to. That bathrooms could use an update, but other than that great local place for kids and adults.

Great place for lap swimming really morning or during lunch... Out loud at night. Bring outside is good, the staff is friendly, its only 3 dollars, or less with a book of 10 passes. If you swim there enough you will get to know the regulars. Check there website for hours as they change.

Outdoor pool. Temperature controlled. 4 to 5 kids for one instructor for 30 min lesson. Class moving up system is not clear and never explained.

$3 to use showers in which you have to continually press the knob for every 5-10 seconds! Im all for saving water and the planet, but good grief, clearly the director has never showered with the use of one hand. No doubt the person who made this executive decision was male.

Great location, Its easy to find parking considering its in the same general area as the Torrance public library, community center and court house.The pool is always really clean, much due to a great filtration system I suppose.

Bunch of irresponsible people who ask a 4 year old child in which class she should go!!!! After they have taken in the pool premises!!!!Today was the second day she was asked.She was standing there for 5 minutes and nobody is bothered a child is standing there alone.After class they are not even checking who the child goes with. The instructor was waiting to go out herself.

Its hard to get registered for lessons here, but I get why! Great instructors, fun atmosphere.

I havent been to this pool for 61 year. I walked home to North Torrance at five years old because the June gloom made cold and the screaming instructor.

Great pool and great staff

Heated pool(s) with plenty of lanes. They have open swim various times a day depending on the season. You can purchase a booklet of swim passes or just pay each time you visit.

Horrible incompetent staff with made up last minute rules. Only positive is the deep section of the pool which the kids do enjoy. Also hours for free swim are ridiculous and also seems to change depending on their mood.

This place is very clean and has great swimming programs and great staff. Especially the swim coaches.

Love the Plunge....the chemical balance is perfect....ive swam at fitness clubs and the water is harsh on my skin....I just wish the swim hours were longer at the plunge and more often....
