I grew up in this park. I was on the Giants baseball team. I became a much better person going to this park. Mr. George was the man in charge when I was there. It still looks like a Great park to go to. Thanks to all the people of Torrance, California.

MY FAVORITE SENIOR CENTER. LOVE TO HELP OUT AT THEIR FUNCTIONS. NOW THESE ARE A BUNCH OF FUUUUUN SENIORS. LOVE THE HEALTHY LUNCHES

The coaches actually care at this location. We have had our daughters in their programs for about 2 years now. After trying out the programs at other parks this is the best. Even though we live about 8 miles away it is worth the drive for coaches that actually care about your children and want them to succeed.

I really wish all these parks will get updated for our kids in the community I enjoyed the game but I just feel like everything needs to be updated our kids deserve it

We get there with a friend for her daughter softball practice, and was an awesome time there, very family oriented ambiance, my grandson played in the sand box, very clean by the way, & the swings, restrooms clean as well. We will come back!

They try their best to provide programs for the youth. I think the best was their Halloween haunted house they had. They do a lot for the community and welcome every race and encourage every race to get along, this was said in one of their Aztec dances.

I came here to vote a few months ago but the place didnt strike me as a recreation center. It is located on a quiet street in a residential area and theres plenty of parking. This place is used as a polling place every time theres an election of some sort.

Very clean atmosphere and educational

It was a senior breakfast hosted by some health company. Was tjere to meet up with friends. Everyone was nice, welcoming and fun. The cake they served before the meal (yes before) as I like it was very tasty, though we didnt stau for the meal. Good size hall. Not crowded. Would be good place to host many events.

Always a great time when I visit. Very friendly staff, very well all around. Great community. Cesar is a very great director, actually what this park has been missing for years now.

They really are good at what they do. I didnt know parks (Recreation & Parks Department of Los Angeles ) actually have so many programs, year around. There is something to do for everyone. All kinds of sports that they put together as a league. I played baseball when I was young and can relate how important it is to have a safe environment in which to enjoy what we were doing. They even give awards and have banquettes to help celebrate different occasions, (of course they rent different parts of the park). They definitely care for their neighbors. They had a spectacular spooky haunted gym indoors, while hosting many outdoor activities along with a gigantic blowup for this past Halloween, (2016). Most recently, theyve shown again how being a good neighbor helps to improve the immediate environment by hosting a pancake breakfast along with a food and toy giveaway. Now, one name comes to mind when it comes to consistent high performance. That would be Francine Sylvia, a shinning example of what to have in an employee, (hint hint city or county). Why, its simple, she is passionate about what she does and she does it well. I been to this particular park several times and when it comes down to it, she was behind whatever it was. They were a tad short on their toy drive this year, (2016). I would definitely encourage whomever to make sure you reward her hard work and support the park in general with toys, volunteer work or whatever you can, but that is for you to find out more about.
