Went to the Sing-Along-Sound of Music today. It was so great. They give you a little goodies bag with things to hold and wave around during the movie. Your allowed to yell at the screen but you cant be vulgar no matter how bad you want to. The bathrooms kind of suck there is only like 4 of stalls. So I held it until the show started to go to the bathroom so there wasnt a line. I didnt get any concessions so I dont know about the service there.

This is one of my top favorite theatres of AMC. I remember back in 2007 & my 1st movie there was TMNT. I love this because it has IMAX & it is very convenient because it is across the promenade from my job Old Navy. Now it has Dolby Cinema & my 1st film to see in Dolby was Solo in 2018 & recently Toy Story 4 last year. Im Stubs member a year now.

Very comfortable seats. I like that you can choose and reserve your seat. Great Dolby sound. What I dont like, that prices on tickets getting higher and higher. Same goes for popcorn and soda. But what good of a movie without popcorn? Bottom line - trip to the movies for 2 would nowadays cost around $50. Here you go.

Last week my son came to see a movie with his friends (they usually go every weekend). For Christmas I received movie tickets along with others gifts from a group of attorneys I work for. I gave one of the tickets to my son to use last Tuesday.... the ticket is good for any movie anytime but this was a regular showing. Someone at the theater told my son that these tickets can be fraudulent, not only did they not except his ticket, they also wrote on it and made to pay full price on a Tuesday. He was very embarrassed in front of his friends. Ive been calling for a week and have not been able to reach anyone. Id love to have clarity in regards to these tickets so that I may inform the group if they have been scammed.

I went to the Del Amo18 movie theater and it was alright. The place in it self was nice and clean but the seats in the movie theater were alright. They recline and thats nice but the down fall of it is that if someone wants to seat on the other side of you and your seat is recline your feet will hit the people going by you . After a while that gets annoying very fast. That really needs to be fixed.

Saw a 3-D movie at the IMAX. It was my friends first 3-D experience, was fun to watch him! Very nice theater.

The movie theater is located in a very nice mall. There are reclining chairs. Its regular movie theater seats that recline a bit.

One of My Favorite Movie theaters to go to, I have the A List program and I Love it.

I really do enjoy this movie theater. It was my first tine going to an AMC. The staff are very nice and the theater itself is up to date. The problem that this place definitely needa to fix is that its dirty. Im not sure how it looks in the morning but my movie was at night so maybe that could affect that problem. Other than that bathrooms are clean. Reccomend this place to watch a movie

I just started going to this theater. I cant believe how expensive the tickets, drink, candy and popcorn is. This place is pretty clean. Most of the seating for new movies are reserved which kinda sucks if there is a exciting new flick you wanna catch. There is no way to view the NEW marvel movie without waking up for the 5AM show on opening weekend... I did it for Avengers End Game.

This AMC is a good location. Its not the best, but its good enough to enjoy a movie. I am particularly concerned with the IMAX screening room. I would like to see it remodeled. Maybe install better seats, after all it is more expensive than regular movies. I would definitely recommend this AMC.

This was my first time visiting AMC Del Amo 18. My first mistake was going on a Saturday. The concession line were super long and they had only one person making food and several people make popcorn. There were many registers open to taking orders but only a few making popcorn and food. It took me about 30 minutes to go through the line and get food. I spent about $100 in food for me and three pre-teens. I wait a long time for sub-standard food. The popcorn was fresh, but the pretzel were doughy, cold and tasteless. The pizza looked good on the picture, but was not good.The staff was nice and it was very clean. So if you go on a busy Saturday night, just get popcorn and a drink. the rating would have been higher if I did not have to wait so long at the concession stand.

I like the new IMAX 3d. I didnt think they could improve from what they had. But they did. I only wish they had reclining seats. I would have bought more food instead of just popcorn.

I go here often, usually at off times so its not to crowded. The staff is friendly and they keep it relatively clean. No complaints, except sometimes they have salt shakers for the popcorn instead of individual packages.

The cleanliness and picture quality was good. The seats however needs some improvement. There is a another movie theater thats a few miles up the street with waaaaay more comfortable seats and isnt a premium to have. Seating to me is everything and if I cant get comfortable for 2 1/2 hours, it ruins the movie experience for me

I stopped going here because it was pricey but man I showed up on a Tuesday got the 6 dollar price and the seats were so comfortable and spacious and the best part, each row is noticeably higher so tall people dont block your view (unlike other bargain cinemas).great experience definitely coming back here from now on

Its time for AMC Del Amo 18 to undate their theater. Seats are uncomfortable and dont recline, Short staffed, food didnt appear to be fresh, and condiments werent refilled. For this mall to have been recently remodeled, the decor/design and food should be better than AMC Southbay Galleria. It seems as if they put all their money into the one Dolby theater they have. I think Ill go back to AMC Southbay Galleria until Del Amo 18 upgrades.

Very nice theater. Seen birds of prey in the IMAX theater. Wow totally worth it for this movie. Two thumbs up. Very clean.

A safe, clean and nice place to come and enjoy movies. Surrounding the theater are ton of retail stores and restaurants to shop before or after a movie. Good crowd control throughout the day, this helps good audience behavior throughout the movies at all hours.

I would have given it 5 stars, but for some reason they took out the reclining seats when they remodeled the IMAX theater. I miss those comfy seats!

They have a slightly larger selection of movies than my usual South Bay Galleria AMC but requires more walking which is good if l am not late. I saw The Last Full Measure a true story of Vietnam War Hero William H. Pitsenbarger a Pararescue medic who saved over 60 men and why it took over 30 years to give him his full recognitio! Worth seeing and l am going to call my friend who did 7 tours of duty as a Navy Seal to thank him again for his service! These guys were my age and deserve to be honored for doing their service even though it was an unpopular war we were engaged in. Please see this film, very enlightening!

We love going to AMC on Discount Tuesdays. Six dollar movies and $5 + tax small drink and popcorn for Stubs members. Especially great for retirees!

Were starting to enjoy going to AMC theaters now, as we discovered that this location actually has pretty Nice seats, comfortable too and they recline! We used to be loyal Regal customers, but realized that AMC offers nice theaters too and their Stubs rewards program offers Tuesday night $5 specials (that price just cant be beat!). Well be back again to see another movie in the future.It was fun to watch Captain Marvel here!

Excellent seating. late afternoon shows, ticket office needs more staff. automated ticket machines have trouble reading AMC membership cards.

We like this theater. We go as the hole family on for date night. Its comfortable.

So many great things to say about this theater! First off, they have ample free parking which is always a great start. Its also great that they have 18 screens at this theater which means they have tons of showtimes and they show lots of films, even some of the indie flicks.Del Amo also has an IMAX and a Dolby screen which are both fantastic quality. Its always great seeing action films and movies with great music/sound on these screens. Im personally not a fan of 3D, but they also show several films in this format as well.This theater is also attached to one of my favorite mall, so theres always tons to do before and after a good movie, from great shopping to excellent food options.Lastly I love that you can reserve your seat ahead of time. This creates less stress and you can arrive confidently knowing your seat already.

People are always friendly. Snacks just like in almost all other theaters, are too expensive. They do offer dine in service which is a plus.

Loved the Dolby Cinema and one young lady behind the snack bar went above and beyond for my sons.

The theater was very nice. Concessions went quickly. The guy next to me, who insisted on retrieving EVERY LAST BIT of his icee very loudly, was not the fault of the theater. He did fortify my natural dislike for movie going.

The theater was clean, the concession staff was quick and friendly. The sound quality was great. Parking is free and close to the theater. Very positive movie experience.

Got to see, Angel has Fallen. Lots of action, shooting, and bad guys. AMC Del Amo .. seats were comfortable, temperature was fine, bathrooms were modern and clean.

The place was super dirty and the concessions was backed up. When my friend came to be seated they would not let her in, management was super rude and not helpful at all over the phone. He wouldn’t let her in because it would be a disruption but they kept disrupting the movie to serve gfoodI just didn’t understand

The theater is big. Its a bit older, but you can tell its managed better than a lot of them. The auditoriums were clean. The staff seems competent and helpful. The concessions were good. It was late on a weeknight, but they had fresh popcorn. The drink machines (Coke Freestyle) appeared to have most if not all variants available.Even though it isnt the closest theater, we will definitely come here again.

This location when under management of Aurelio is not only discriminatory but rude, unprofessional and will refrain you from seeing a movie despite taking your money. The manger Aurelio literally denied me seeing the film I paid for while simultaneously refusing to issue me a refund even despite having the receipt. No security at all in place, I would recommend anybody who fears for their safety to attend any movie at any time at this location.

This theater is probably one of the nicest in the area. We generally only watch whatever is on the Dolby screen- so I cant speak for the rest of the theater. The Dolby experience IS special and definitely worth the extra money. The bathrooms are generally HORRENDOUS and that speaks volumes for the area. Chicks of the South Bay. Youre disgusting. Sit down on the seat. Clean up after yourself. And flush. Its simple AF. Sadly, the lack of cleanliness reflects poorly on the theater and staff... And it could be remedied by more help. You know, since the females in the area havent figured out how to pee yet.... And its never the kids. ️

Ive been here twice this year its good. Some of the staff is very nice and some are just Meh. I dont usually have any issues here, although I try to never come at night, its too expensive. I try to have a good meal just before I arrive. If I do order anything its always a soft drink and popcorn. The flavored popcorn (cheese/caramel) is not up to par and is stale, the coffee is no good either. Overall the movie experience is good. Have a great visit!

Came in recently in a Thursday to watch a movie. Theater was pretty empty and it was fairly clean. Service was good at the ticket counter and at the concession stand. Bathroom was clean as well. Video screen was good and sound was fine.

Nice facility but it was so darn far to walk from the parking. The freaking escalator were not working after the show and my acquaintance has a walking disability. Just set us up for a bad night. Movie and concession pricing was elevated. DAMN!!!!! $70 plus buck to watch a movie should be chargeable defense of unreported capital gains and price gouging.

Ive been going to this theater for years. This was the first time I saw a 3D movie and it was great! (Im not always a fan of 3D.) The reclining love seats are comfortable and the bathrooms are always clean. Random, I know. But thats important to me. :)

Great movie theater with friendly staff! I saw an IMAX showing of Aladdin (2019) recently and there were several issues with video playback - stuttering and freezing - during the final 10 minutes of the movie. Upon reporting this to the theater staff, they immediately gave everyone from my showtime free passes to return to the theater to see the movie again or to see a different movie if we so choose. Thats good customer service.

I came here with my Starbucks drink, which is Located right across from the theatre, and Precious very rudely told me that no outside food or drinks are allowed. I can understand that but then she proceeded to tell me what i should do, with said drink. She told me “I better drink it outside or throw it away.” Please don’t be rude when your job is literally dependent on customer service. I was with my mother and family so I let it go and had to throw away a $5 drink which I could have enjoyed in the movie. I went in the theatre and saw multiple people with Starbucks cups in their cup holders. I’m not sure why I was singled out, but no worries. I hope it made Miss Precious very happy to command a customer what they should do with their money. I bought 4 IMAX tickets and could barely see the screen. The movie was way too dim to enjoy and the seats looked like a hodgepodge of dusty stained seats they had lying in the back of their storage for years. The only good thing about my trip was the service I received from who I assume was the manager. The arcade machine took my $2 and she politely asked me to meet her at the customer service desk and she would see me as soon as she finished counting her register. She returned my $2 in tokens which I really appreciate. She had great service and was very warm and friendly.

Oh wow watched a movie and it was just a super experience..loved the chairs it was like being home but with the luxury of being at theater..plus their popcorn is always really good look forward to my next visit..

Popcorn buckets are prepped and sit under heat lamps, so popcorn doesnt have hot and fresh taste or texture. Concession staff are friendly, however the line and wait is super long, even on week nights.

Its not my preferred theatre but its convenient. Its close to my job. The theatre is clean and the people are nice but Im not a fan of the parking. I can never find the right place to park with exception of this visit.

Nice theater! All the seats are laid out well, and it is pretty clean. The staff is also really nice. I have never had a problem when I go see a movie there. I also like they have a good food selection for the concession stand.

Great cinema with good screens. We went to the mall to kill a few hours before our flight and ended up watching a movie. The screen was crisp and the sound was spot on. Ticket counter outside meant that we were a little hot waiting in line but time passed quickly and we were inside and in the queue without too much wait.

This is my go to theatre spot. Literally there every Tuesday. Everyone is always super sweet. Movie snacks are always cooked to perfection. Always clean, and great show time options.

The Dobly surround sound theater was perfect for watching Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Its a nice theater and conveniently located in a big open shopping center. So if you wanna kill time before or take a nice stroll after a movie thats always an option at this AMC.The IMAX and Dolby theaters are always a must for your typical shootem up action or epic adventure flick. Trust me its worth it.

I was in theater #2, and they could really use some screen calibration, contrast was low throughout, even through the previews so it wasnt how the film should of looked, it should of been much brighter and sharper.

I have always came to Del Amo for movies since they had the attached theatre and unattached theatre(which is now a gym). Im never dissapointed when I come here and the reserved seating is a plus. Like most movies theatres, I wish the food wasnt as expensive; but the quality is good. The staff is usually very nice and helpful.

Took my granddaughter and great granddaughter to see a movie that just came out. I love going to movies there. Pop corn is always fresh and so many theaters. They do a pretty good job cleaning in between show times. Bathrooms are pretty well maintained. They enjoyed eating outside at Johnny Rocket....then shopping at Old Navy. Would have walked around inside the mall but they were pooped and a vote was taken to either go shopping or go back to my house and chill on the couch. So we went home. They just cant keep up with their 66 year old grandmother.

Youll love watching the movies in this theater, with your choice of IMAX or Dolby theater time, whats not to love?

Worst theater on Earth. This Saturday, around noon, all 18 screens went down. Unbelievable! They handed out hundreds of free passes but this is a warning to everyone. Dont waste your time. See your movie somewhere else!

Had to waited for over 20 minutes missed the movie. Went into customer service to get my ticket For the movie, the representative told me she can’t I have to wait in line. I told her I been in the line for over 20 minutes. She said okay I will. Movie was sold out before the starting time at 4:20. No sign or of anything letting the customer know. Poor service. Never in my years that I seen they have 3 people helping with the line over 25 people are waiting to purchase there tickets. Over 10-15 people at the auto self service machine. And you know half the time those don’t even work.
