Nice quiet park with moderately sized play equipment. Great for 2+ children. Right next to the swimming pool. Nice shady trees and picnic tables to sit and relax. Walking trails that are paved.

Paved trail about .85 miles long is nice for running and walking. Lots of people walk their dogs. Trails are great, especially for taking kids on little hikes. Trail goes over a stream, so make sure you can carry the little ones over the rocks. Bigger kids can jump from rock to rock. Theres a nice play area with swing set, slides, etc. And softball fields are well maintained. Great place to go to get everyone out of the house.

We love coming to this park. My girls love the play area and being able to meet new people. I love the paved walking path they have they have that wraps around the softball fields, soccer fields and the play area. The walking path is . 8 miles long. If your wanting to walk in nature, they have a nature walking path that is by creek. There are several options for you to be able to enjoy yourself.

The Shawnee North pool is great for kids. At the moment, however, the kiddie pool is out of commission, and not sure if they are remodeling it or going to completely decommission it. They also tend to be extremely busy, so you may have a hard time finding a seat. But, if you bring an extra few towels, there is a lot of surrounding grass within the fence that you can use.Overall, one of the better pools around the Topeka area.

Great pool and softball and baseball diamonds. They also soccer courses. I used to play flag football up on the baseball fields. they have cool events throughout the year like a haunted trail. Great community center to have up in North Topeka.

Great place for kids to play have a picnic or birthday party. There are no restrooms in the immediate area but if you walked on the parking lot there is a shelter house with the restroom and when the community center is open you can utilize their facilities

Shawnee County North Park is an amazing place to walk with a paved trail.

Older, but well kept ballfields. I was there in mid-April for a softball game and the bathrooms were locked up. All they had was one porta potty, which was kind of annoying.

Great place that offers various classes for everything from beekeeping to dance.

This park has a decent sized playground with slides, jungle gyms and at least six swings. There is also a decent amount of shade and bbq grills. There is a pool/water park open during summer. The ball fields are nicely maintained and there are open fields to play or practice. There are wooded walkways and recently added paved path running through at least the south side.

Beautiful huge pool. Huge sprawling fields for practices. Softball for the adults. Toys and playground equipment for kids a little limited though.
